I tried opening a ticket with The development team on this app, and got a standard blah blah blah we cannot do anything response. It seems to me that the MOST important thing on this app is to be able to schedule an appointment. But this is the one thing that consistently for months on end does not work. I see a message telling me to contact 911 if it’s an emergency but the appointment scheduler NEVER loads. I wait, I try going through the other way in the app to set an appointment, I try looking at previous appointments to reschedule. Sometimes it works. Most of the time it’s nada, bubkiss, squat. I waste so much freaking time and then have to give up and call to make an appointment. Seriously? You had ONE JOB kaiser. It’s this lack of attention to detail that has every health care provider I’ve seen working with you roll their eyes at your administration. Must be a great thing to work in an industry that pretty much holds people hostage. If I ran my business with such lousy oversight my customers would have left looooooong ago.
  • Not as good as one might expect

This app is. Barely sufficient. Each screen takes forever to load. The ID card is inaccurate. Prescriptions don't always show as ready, and KP has lame restrictions on the mail-order pharmacy they're constantly reminding you about. Is it nice to be able to make appointments in-app? Yes, but it's frankly insane that it isn't standard by now, and I've seen it done better. You can't make an in-app appointment with someone you haven't already seen at KP or remove providers you never want to see again. The "video" appointment is a scam - it redirects to a separate out-of-app Web page that never seems to load, even after trying multiple browsers. Probably because good security settings won't allow a browser to access their insecure site. Why isn't this feature just part of the app itself anyway? The investment in this app feels minimal
  • A LONG way from even an average app

As a QA lead, I recognize apps that are poorly designed and implemented; this app fits that description well. Some of the major problems: exiting the app via the home button does NOT log you out, securely closing the app; going down several layers (such as looking at test results) requires the user to go back-back-back-back to a page where one can access the menus to sign-out; on my iPad 12.9, I MUST use the app in portrait because that’s the way it was coded; this app is somehow split off from other functions that should be accessible. There are many other issues needing work. Kaiser should get someone familiar with QA and UI design to update this app. It has not had a major update since November 2016. 8/8/18- Touch ID broken on iPhone. App resets Touch ID to OFF when user signs out. iPad app works properly.
  • Can be convenient but needs some work

Biggest complaint is how slow the app is. Always with that spinning wheel. Also the message function is not very user friendly. One specific fix needed is for the pharmacy function. A doctor orders something for me to go to mail order and when I checked it said “refilled on” a certain day. Great, so I’m waiting for my prescription, it has been 2 weeks (which is not all that unusual). I called today to be told that it had never been filled. I guess there is a flaw in the app and it says refilled but what they really meant was written on that certain day. Just something small but couldn’t find a way to directly report the issue without having to give out my personal information. Big companies like is often troll the web for all comments so we’ll see.
  • Signing in is a pain - Support is worse

Every time I have to reset password because the system “forgets”. Try resetting password thru “forgot password, and 7 out of 10 you can’t because it won’t pull down the “Region tab” for you to select your region. And because you didn’t select a region, it won’t let you go further. Call Web Support? Be prepared to spend 10 minutes just to verify yourself, first thru a stupid voice recognition system which then does not pass on the info to the Rep. Then you go through the whole verification process again! Then after you state the problem, quiz them. You have to repeat three times for them to begin to address the issue you called for. By this time you’ve already spent 10-12 minutes! Then you get “boiler plate” email with lots of apologies but no solution! Other than that, the App is getting there!
  • Never have open appointments

This app is helpful for ordering a refill and reviewing your test results or rechecking you appointment schedules but other than that it really gets annoying and frustrating. Every single time I tried to schedule an appointment it always says no available appointment at that time I selected. I tried to book an appointment for sometimes with a month or two selected but it still doesn’t show any availability. I will always end up calling them and book appointment by phone then on phone they will always say “Do you know that you can now book appointments online?” Blah blah blah blah yeah right. Booking appointment by phone is always easier and they will have your schedule the next day or within a week. I get really frustrated with this app on booking my appointment. Doesn’t help at all!!!!!

I have used this app since it was released into production. It has served me well and it continues offer new and more convenient features. They kind of sneak up on me. Lol. One reviewer reports that Touch ID doesn’t work as expected. I saw the same issue but after deleting the app, manually signing on and turning Touch ID on, it stayed on. I was prompted once to lift and rest a finger. From that point, all my finger prints work as expected. Yes, all. I use many for easy positioning. App support is responsive. So, try this first. NOTE: The app had been updated BUT may not have synched correctly with my hardware after iOS 11.4.1 was installed. This is what I suspect.
  • Missing locations!

    By PassionForAudi
Initially I had given this app’ a 2 star review due to the fact that it’s actually not too bad of a application. I then (within a couple seconds) start thinking how much of a inconvenience it is for ME to not be able to schedule a appointment at a certain location of my choice due to the fact that it’s not on the scroll down list as a option. So I instantly switch it on over to a 1 star review! Fontana is the perfect location for peace of mind and the fact that it’s also where my fiancée and 3 kids always get seen. Come on, I shouldn’t have to call in in order to set up a appointment there. Common sense tells me that you do that on purpose due to the fact that it’s such a busy location as it is but it shouldn’t be that way. 🤦🏻‍♂️
  • App is amazing

    By Technology 1
App works wonderful everything from making appointments, to refilling prescriptions etc. etc. Keep working on improving the app. The only thing I would say needs major improvement is the notifications system within the app. When you use the app it says do you want the app to send you notifications for appointments or prescription refills etc. etc. you click yes and then you don’t really receive any notifications. That is all that needs major improvement. Keep up the good work.
  • Awesome!!

Not sure what the fuss is over... I love this new version much more than the previous version. It's easy to navigate, and everything is at my fingertips which I love. I have a busy life like everyone else so that is an important factor. I can easily message my doctor or any other provider I've been referred to and easily refill prescriptions. It was mentioned in a previous post that the Rx refill doesn't alert you of when it is ready for pick up.... that would be a great feature to add. Overall, great job!!
