  • Thank u on behalf of my tribe- DINE’

I am Navajo and we have never had access to anything like this. This is a phenomenal tool that seems to be limited only by our determination. I was reading other comments and I feel like the young people of today are entitled and ungrateful. Life as a native we don’t get the same opportunities and this is something that I am phenomenally grateful for. Thank u Apple for this amazing app. I was listening to Simon Sinek speak about when he was at your conference and he stated- “100% of the executives at the conference spoke 100% of the time about education tools for teachers and students”. I appreciate u thinking differently and challenging the status quo- u can’t make things perfect for every and that’s ok- cause u are changing the lives of my people- the Navajos of AZ.
  • Poor navigation and usability

    By Sam003robb
This app needs some of the usability features of the Podcasts app. The biggest drawback in my opinion is that you cannot reopen the app and immediately be able to start listening where you left off which makes a horribly clunky experience of trying to remember what class you’ve been working with and what lesson/episode you are on, especially if you had to stop partway through a lesson. This isn’t the experience I expect from Apple. You also cannot find a course that you have subscribed to unless you also “get” the course—that’s a useless distinction between subscription and getting the course, so if you want to find it later you either have to remember it or get it and then it clutters up your list of courses you are currently taking. The usefulness of the app and selection of courses is pretty good and growing all the time but the usability irritates every time I use it.
  • Good Job

So since apple is very picky apparently you can’t rate the real iTunes app. So I’ll leave my review here. There is no clear way of how to download songs from getting a new computer to link to your iPhone that was linked to your iTunes on your old computer... to then put it onto your new computer which will not upload your original iTunes account. The only option is to DELETE everything on your iPhone to then put what little music you have on your new computer onto your iPhone. There should be an easier way to do this rather than go through ALL of my thousands of songs on my CDS and FLASH DRIVES to re download them onto iTunes and merely HOPE that when I sync and it DELETS everything on my iPhone that it actually re bring all of my songs back on with the ten new songs I want. Good job apple.
  • Usability Improvements????

For who? Apple self interest. So done with general statements and no details. Once downloaded set the trap and no going back. We demand significant details! Stop on the App Store LOCKING OUT previous downloads updates and previous versions of APPS AND OSs! My god cannot even go back and download previous versions such Mac OS El Capitan without jumping through hoops and High Sierra because there is no complete download available anywhere. Because Apple locked out next versions of MacOS on certain Macs by intentional obsolescence, iOS compatibility with MacOS is locked in at iOS 12. If you missed 12.5 before 13 you are screwed. If you are finally able to upgrade to iOS 13 you are screwed. Must update to latest iOS 14.
  • App is a good idea, but...

    By ProSoundLive
Apple is severely limiting this app's potential by trying to keep it so exclusive. Not only are they refusing to allow it to work in conjunction with other platforms, but you cant even access it from other Apple devices such as your laptop or desktop computer. One would think that an intelligent decision would be to design an educational app around the idea that learning is a lifetime persuit and to design it in a way that allows it to adapt to the changing world. Wake up, Apple. Inclusivity is the new exclusivity.
  • Needs certificate feature

    By Rob@?!
I would really like to see a certficate or Class completion printout you could generate from the grades page. As of now I have to do everything manually one by one in a PDF. If you could check mark all the students that passed and share to printer and have them all print this would be amazing!
  • An open platform for personal growth

I learned how to program from a course on here! All the open content on this rich platform allows everyone to participate in learning and growth, at their own pace and ability level. Lots of respect for iTunes U!
  • Best app ever invented on any platform

    By yhoff76
I mentioned this app while in grad school interview for an anesthesia program. The lady in the panel looked around the room and also vouched for this app. Needless to say, I got in and for years prior while preparing for that amazing journey, I used iTunes U for organic chemistry and biochemistry refresher courses. I can't say it enough, BEST APP EVER INVENTED. Yaro
  • Update Needed

    By yobugabu
Apple you need to update this app badly. There is so much potential in this app but it can’t be utilized because of the old interface. Please make it more intuitive so that going through courses is easy. Just like other iOS 13 apps iTunes u needs an update.
  • Love it but...

    By Ms. J Homeschooler
I love this app and it’s resources, but the minute my iPad goes to sleep (say if I’m writing something) it kicks me out of the class and the app freezes up. I have to shut it down and reopen the app, reopen the class, and the find the section I was working on. This is very aggravating.
