    We've always experienced rock-solid LTE service from T- mobile (Las Vegas area) and couldn't wait to drop Cox when T-Mobile wireless home internet was finally available in our area. We've not been disappointed. After downloading the app, install was a breeze (be sure to unplug your current wifi router and position the receiver by window or etc. to get the most signal) Easy to configure with the app. Blazing fast, no contract, less $$$ than Cox and far more reliable than😂😂 Century link. App lets you configure network name, password etc. All our connected stuff, including two 4K TV's works perfectly. Anyway, couldn't be happier- wireless home internet is the future.

    My first app review ever. This app has the potential to be extremely beneficial in setting up your gateway however it crashes EVERY SINGLE TIME it’s open for more than 10 seconds or so. I just received my new 5G gateway today and can’t even properly set it up due to the crashes and on top of that, every time the gateway is unplugged to try new areas in the house for best service, it makes you restart the entire setup process even though there’s a built in battery! I must be in a terrible service location because what I have tested is less than 10Mbps. I’ve spent most of my evening working with this app and gateway and I’m highly considering sending it back even though no other ISP offers any internet in my area.
  • Spotty service

    The service is ok but not that great. Maybe T-Mobile needs a tower closer I guess. Also it would be nice to be able to nickname the devices I have hooked up to the WiFi instead of having to memorize the IP address of each device to know which one needs to be on a schedule. I do like the idea of putting certain devices on a schedule. That’s why I put 3 stars instead of 1 or 2. I don’t want to give up on T-Mobile WiFi because I have the T-Mobile for my phone as well but the phone service kind of bites too. I don’t have as good of coverage as I did with att but I really HATE att, that’s why I went with T-Mobile. I’ll stick with T-Mobile for a little bit longer, hopefully they’ll get better service.
  • What a waste, it could be so useful

    This app is a complete waste of potential. This is no exaggeration, at least 80% of the time it will not even connect to the router, and then when it does finally connect at least 50% of the time it will drop and I have to restart, at which point it can’t connect again. It really leaves a bad taste in your mouth and that reflects on T-Mobile. It’s a really really poor customer experience. After they fix the connection issues, they need to allow the ability to see names of the devices that are connected and also show the secondary gateway connection in the app (5G).
  • App always restarting

    The app is constantly saying there is an error and needs to restart. My router started needing a restart after only a week of using it. Internet download speeds are around 300mbps but the upload speed very from 5-40mbps and I notice a lot more lag than I did with my old fiber connection. Will be going back to AT&T as much as I hate to. Hopefully it will get better in the future cause I was super excited to ditch AT&T.

    Don’t waste your time with this app or 5g box. The white box was better. The app connecting the gateway tower to your phone does more harm than help. I’ve given it the home Internet the benefit of the doubt since November with spotty service and faulty connections. I hoped the 5g box would be better, but It isn’t. I expected some error because it’s new but the white box barely did half of what I expected and this 5g is worse. I hadn’t anticipated that my phone connectivity would be required. Outside of that, my phone being connected to the box wifi is stopping me from browsing on my phone, considering that the wifi isn’t connecting at all to anything!

    Not supported remotely control when traveling or not home All devices connected show name unknown and can’t change devices connected name Not show device connected to 5 gHz or 2.4 gHz Urgent to able to control gateway remotely when traveling or not home You only see the gateway when contacted to it but when you not close or travel or in work you can’t control the gateway to know if online or offline in case you need to know what happen why no internet connection when trying monitoring your kids at home or check or reboot gateway in case there problem with internet connection
  • App is barely functional, service is not much better

    This app has very limited functionality. It requires restarting the app to connect to the router and when connected it has very few features. Frequently shows random error messages with meaningless codes. I find better status and controls if I connect to the router with a browser (you need to find its IP address on your network to do this). Even that has minimal settings that should be standard on a basic router. I don’t have a strong signal here, but even when it’s connected with good signal I get very inconsistent speeds barely able to stream HD video reliably
  • App is Impossible to Deal With

    Anytime I move the router, even 10 ft, I have to set up the app all over again. Now, I can’t even connect to the router, because I can’t get past the “let’s get you connected screen.” If I click “go to settings” it takes me to the setting page with no way to connect - I can either active siri or cellular data. The other option is to click, “connect for the first time,” which takes me to an information page with no link except to the previous page. This has occurred several times now since I’ve had this. I’m sick of having to call customer service about this.
  • Country Living Finally Gets Internet

    I have been using tmobile at home for a few months now. The speed, the service, you could not want more. I have tried sat internet for 3x as much but the lag, ugh. I had centurylink dsl but so slow. Living rurally, the ISP's available have been crap most of my life. I would highly recommend to anyone who has been suffering with junk internet. A+++++
