    I love it!!!

I leave the app, open and running and I don’t die at all”only if I want too” . Just upgraded your power more than the speed and you’ll see improvement. My highest score is 1.23B without me even have to touch my phone at all. It super easy not that hard at all. Quick tip, when you die and you have a pretty good score don’t watch the ad to keep going because if you use it then you won’t be allowed to double the point you made, and you need the point to upgrade. It took me couples try to get it to where I don’t need even to touch my phone at all. I just leave it in the middle and it goes through everything like no problem.

    Played to the cap

I have played this game since the day it came out. I’m not a hardcore grinder for this game or anything, but I have leveled up my tank to where bullet speed and power both cost 2.15 billion to upgrade. By the first wall I have well surpassed 2.15 billion points, and I no longer can really go any further with the game. All I’m asking for is more points. Other than that great game. P.S I’ve also seen many people in the reviews complain of the scaling so I took my iPad and got the game on there to start over. I can kinda see where people are coming from, but the scaling is fine to me I’ve upgraded pretty quickly. I just recommend that you go for shooting power over speed. Don’t upgrade them together. Once you get the shooting power tank, it’s a breeze ;)

    Good game, needs more

This game is honestly fun and a good way to pass time. There is some progression in the form of upgrades for the balls you shoot and the rate at which you shoot them. The number of shots that each block takes to break gets higher as the game goes on. As far as what the game needs, it needs customization for the balls and the shooter. Maybe the backgrounds could use themes too. The ads seem excessive but I suppose for a free game, they have to make some money through ads. $3 for a game like this isn’t a bad price if you plan on playing it a lot. If your plan is to just pick it up and play a couple of games then stop, don’t buy it because the ads won’t bug you too much. That’s about it. Will update review if more is added.

    Pure Joy of Shooting But...

For raw shooting goodness, this game is great. At low levels it's very satisfying to clear away the blocks. But the game has some weaknesses which many have already pointed out. Yes, the ads are very frequent and ruin the user experience. You come to expect this with free-to-play games, but they seem pretty heavy handed here. I purchased the no-ads option, and even then, the only way to extend your round after crashing is to watch a 30 second ad. And yes, after a while there's no progress to be had because your firing strengths don't exceed the blocks ahead of you. There are a few temporary upgrades, but there are so so many unexplored opportunities for powerups, block variations, etc that could be done. Maybe these will appear in a future update. After playing for several hours, I believe it would have been better to error on the not-enough-challenge side, rather than so-much challenge-the-game-becomes-unplayable. Overall, good job VooDoo, but fingers crossed for an interesting update.

    feedback/update

POINT EARNINGS with the new update that was just added o find it very difficult to earn any points. Before the upgrade my average score every time would at most me about 5 Billion, and that is super important because my upgrades cost so much because they are sick high level. with the new update my average score hasn’t even gotten over 200 thousand, which mean i can only upgrade one time for only one of the two upgrades Also won this new update i’ve seen power ups are a lot more rare to get. as before they would pop up every like minute or so. more power ups or especially good for me because i’m always needing ways to gain more points for upgrades STAR BLOCK The new star block with the update 2.1 is a very good idea that was added in the game the only problem is that it destroys like 3 rows of blocks ahead of you... without giving you any points. I fell the star block should give you all the points from the blocks it broke, just to be a little not fair Before this update the game was really fun, and i’m not saying it’s not fun anymore because it’s still fun. it’s just that it’s so difficult to gain any points at this point it’s just not worth my time. even tho i still play it one only getting like 500 thousand every like 7 games when before i was getting like 4 to 7 BILLION every 1 game. See the difference there

    Not enough ads

From a company called 2 star games, you know exactly what you're getting. So why did I give 3 stars you ask? Three words: Not. Enough. Ads. Okay, yes the game is great, who doesn't love a game in which the only progression is discovering larger numbers. But really, I'm in it for the ads. I absolutely love how after nearly every round I get a nice lengthy ad to let me ponder the round I just played. Maybe I should have moved left....or maybe right!! Gosh, and then they're kind enough to provide a 30 second ad if I want to double my points! Maybe one suggestion, the number of ads should increase as exponentially as the number of points you need to upgrade. That way even though you're not progressing it's made up for by the sheer number of ads! Anyways, nitpicking aside, I hope they take ads into consideration for future works of art. Keep up the two star quality voodoo!

    Time for an update

The game is fun to just past time or to mindlessly play while watching tv but it quickly becomes too easy. Yes in the beginning it is difficult and challenging but once you start to level up enough it literally only takes like a minute to reach 2.15B(the max amount of points) if you hit the right power-ups which are regularly available while playing. Also there is not much mix up on the speed of the moving targets the farther you go so now I can literally just start the game and leave it in the middle and never get hit with anything and take out the one block per row without touching the phone. Would be nice if they would increase the max points you can get per game and switch up the speed or layout of the moving targets to where you can’t just learn how to get by then w/out having to break them.

Decent idle play, but some serious problems

First off, it drains my battery like almost nothing else. Ten minutes of play takes me from full charge to power saver mode. Second, it recently started bringing me to ad sites IN THE MIDDLE OF A GAME. No ad pops up, I don’t touch the banner ad at the bottom of the screen, but BAM! The app goes inactive and Safari opens. It’s quick enough to get back to the game, and it isn’t instant death, but there’s no reason it should happen. Ads should never be invasive. And third, purchasing the shooter upgrades (which is done with in-game currency, not real world cash) has no real bearing on how far you can go. My average score hasn’t changed in months, despite multiple upgrades to both shooting speed and power. Really makes me wonder why I bothered saving up for them in the first place.

Fun game but needs some serious work.

I play this game frequently whenever I need to kill some time, and while I almost always am successful in that regard there are some glaring problems with this game that prevent it from reaching its full potential. The most glaring end game breaking issue is the fact that almost every single time you play the game you eventually reach a point in the level where there are no more blocks to shoot and you just keep shooting aimlessly in to nothing, completely negating all the progress you made up to that point. In small doses this would be understandable, has very few games are programmed perfectly, but this happens basically every single time I play the game. I’ve had levels before where I reach seven or 8 million points only to have the game freak out and stop spawning any blocks so all of those points are completely wasted. Sometimes this is combatable because you can almost always tell when the blocks are going to stop spawning and you can crash yourself into one of the existing blocks before you pass that point, but there are also many times where this is impossible and it’s completely ruins the games enjoyment factor. The games concept is fun and it’s execution is done well, but the serious game breaking glitch needs to be fixed. If it weren’t for that glitch, this would be a five star game easily.

    Good game but broken scaling

The basic mechanics of this game are pretty fun (4 stars), but the implementation could use a lot of work. My two biggest problems with this game are: the block health scaling, and the abundance of ads. The most irritating thing of all is definitely how the block health scales as you level. In general this scaling is a good idea, but at present the blocks scale up faster than your damage after a certain point. Once you get your two skills above lvl 10 you’ll start making less and less progress as you level, as well as earning less and less points with each run. Currently the game hits a point where it’s better not to level at all, and relatively quickly at that. The ads are also annoying, as in all ftp games, but they seem particularly aggressive here. This is mainly because te block health scaling prevents rounds from lasting more than 2-3 minutes, and following each round you almost always get two 30 second ads, outside of the optional ads. At least you can pay a modest $3 to remove them, which isn’t terrible if the game mechanics are improved.

    Huge glitches in upper levels

I am at level 160 and when I got into the upper levels, I started having problems. You will get a partial set of blocks and when you see this it means no more blocks are going to come and you just shoot into darkness. You have to shut off your device to re-set the game and you don’t get credited for the points you had in that last game. The only way to try and save those points is to intentionally run into those last blocks and die. One problem with this is your gun is shooting so fast it usually clears the blocks before you die and you lose the points and have to reset the game anyways. It’s a frustration glitch that hasn’t been fixed on a really good game. I would have given 5 stars if there was not this problem. If it’s not fixed soon I will be done with it and move on to another game.

    Quickly becomes impossible

After only playing for a few minutes and leveling up 6 or so times, the game quickly becomes impossible. It has come to the point where the second wall will always kill you, even if you aim at the weakest wall from the moment it enters your screen. How they expect you to pass multiple walls baffles me. Weak walls are practically non existing, and power ups never show up because of how quickly you die. This game would've been great if it didn't scale directly with you (i.e. If you always started with single digit walls and the further you go the stronger they become) instead, the more you level up, the higher the walls strength becomes. And it does not scale with you. As very often the walls become impossible to pass with your current strength. And because you die so early and are unable to break walls, leveling up becomes impossible because of the absurdly small amount of points received (as if the leveling would help as the game would just make it more impossible) clearly after all the deaths, and an ad after practically each one, it's easy to deduce this game was just made to kill you quick for add revenue. Dissapointed as the main premise of the game had promise and seemed like it would be a great time killer. Little did I know I would be playing 10 second games with 30 second adds afterwards.

Had potential but you killed it

Just like all Voodoo games, it constantly lags and crashes, even though the ads aren’t very frequent 8/10 times it locks up and I have to restart the app, it also opens up ads mid-game, but it doesn’t always just open them, it will open safari and then crash the app when I try to get back on, besides problems with the ads it lags a lot, and the main problem is that you can never progress, the only difference is the numbers are bigger, it doesn’t even get easier it gets harder, when you buy an upgrade instead of you being able to last longer because you are now upgraded, all of the blocks get even more powerful to the point that you’re weaker than before you upgraded, what you should’ve done is always started at low numbers and let the upgrades actually help progression so you can get farther then the last time every time you upgrade, because it just feels like the upgrades are useless it makes the game harder.

    Rating misleading

This is my first review and will likely be my last, but I chose to this once because of the huge inconsistency in regards to this game. I downloaded the game because it had a high rating, like 4.6 or something like that at the time. How in the world does this game have such a high rating? After playing it for a few hours periodically, I was flabbergasted at how the egregious gameplay wouldn’t be reflected in its rating. So.. I decide to look at the reviews and after looking at hundreds of reviews, maybe 30% were 4-5 stars. I don’t need to rehash what literally everyone else has said is wrong with this game, but the fact that it has a 4.5 still makes me curious whether the rating is stacked (hundreds of reviews planted there to make the game more enticing). Whether or not that’s true, unless they completely turn this game around, I’m sticking to playing it very seldom and not recommending anyone who enjoys skill/progression in a game to even think about downloading this.
