Morninglory
Awesome game! I wish I could say it only took me minutes to complete the game but it took me over two hours! I’m an intermediate player but this game made me feel like a beginner several times. The puzzles are very well thought out and thinking outside the box is mandatory. The graphics are excellent and there were no glitches while playing. I didn’t even have any advertisements pop up while playing- and I had a free download game! Hints are available online but I’m too proud to cheat...what’s the fun in that? The developers put a lot of time and thought into this game!! Thank you so much! Going to see what else you have available.
Picture another winner!
Thank you for making them inventive, dark, addictive, and entertaining. When I start one, I can’t put it down until I finish. I’m glad you have the you tube walk throughs, though I try not to use them, you do get stuck sometimes. I prefer logic t o trial and error and most of the puzzles can be logic’d. Thank you, I can’t wait for another one. I wish you would do more after quests, like in roots, I really enjoyed going back for more!
Better
Although it doesn’t have “levels” like seasons did, it was in fact longer than the lake and it was more interactive which I especially enjoyed. The painting part was wonderful and the fact we could see and touch another person rather than a demon or a flash back was also a nice addition to the series. Good story as usual and I hope you continue to make great games.
Third times a charm
Ugh these games just keep getting better! I found Samsara room first (which is great) and sent me down a rabbit hole with the Rusty Lake game series. I played two more out of order not realizing there were so many, and that they built on each other. I’ve now gone back and played them in order. The controls, clues, and interactivity continue to get better with each game. Super fun!
Perhaps nobody will read this but...
Am I the only one who sees it? I'm obsessed, like so many others, with the starry starry night painting. I've spent many moments contemplating what he was painting. What would make someone's vision translate this way? I was looking at the night sky one night, remembering universe conversations with my father who had recently passed, and my eyes filled with tears. It caused the starry night sky to look just as in the painting.
Awesome games!
I’ve played all of these games in chronological order. The free ones are short, the chapters you have to pay for are much longer. They’re worth purchasing. Do yourself a favor if you like creepy, interesting puzzle games. Buy and download all of the chapters, Google the chronological order of these games, and play them in order. I can’t wait for more chapters to be released!
Absolutely love
First of all the entire cube escape series is a masterpiece in itself but this in my opinion took it to a whole new level the entire room is a Vincent Van Gogh painting I love all the references to other paintings of his too like the sunflowers and the self portrait, the historical accuracy is also amazing 10/10 this is in my top three of the games for sure
Love it !
I am attempting to play every game in the series and so far I love these games they are just the right level of challenging but not where you get frustrated because you can’t do it I would definitely recommend these games to every single person especially if you like challenging puzzle games!
Emotional roller coaster in a good way! 👍
This series is so well done, and so different. Entertaining, unpredictable, surprising fun with a horror edge. All five games released so far play very well with no glitches. Be sure to support the true devs by downloading only LoyaltyGame versions, there have been a few knockoffs which were quickly removed thanks to swift action by the LoyaltyGame folks :)
Don’t paint the center cube on the painting too early
If you paint the center cube on the painting too early you will get stuck. I had to replay the whole game. I left the center clue blank until the end then I painted it and was able to pick it up. If you paint it too early you can’t pick it up
Thinking too far outside the box
Third game and have to admit my slight confusion. Changing the character to Vincent Van Gogh seems very strange to me. Yes, his mindset fits with the theme but I am unsure if this is supposed to fit in with the other games yet. Obviously I haven’t played them all yet so I can’t judge. Another great entry with some fun new mechanics.
Good Challenging Game
I have played Cube Escape: Arles many times, and it is very enjoyable. The first time Indid the sunflower puzzle, I had a really hard time, but eventually I worked it out. I missed the pistol for a long time. Thank you, it keeps my marbles from falling out of my head.
Decent yet short puzzler.
Maybe I have way too much experience with this kind of puzzler, but I was able to solve it in a matter of minutes. Subtle clues were well placed, with minimal frustration points. The artwork is excellent. Some of the puzzles were a bit obvious, and one of what should have been the most complex solves is possible with brute force trial and error in short time. Overall, a good mental workout for what is available.
Intriguing game spoiled by one puzzle (non-puzzle?)
Sorry to be the only 3 star review here, but…there was so much here to enjoy and, as always, you create your own very special atmosphere. Want to explain the logic of the necessary order of the water, wine, and absinthe moves? I had to watch your video, and I hate resorting to that. If you threw in an impossible random brute force puzzle, thumbs down. If it was clearly and fairly clued somewhere and I missed it, I’ll up my rating.
