Please help!
Ok. So I’m playing cube escape the lake. The game is fun and I’m giving it 5 stars. However can someone help me? I’m at the part where you place the symbols on the tree that grew out of the table. I have 5 symbols. I have an apple, a shrimp shell, something that looks like a wheel and two diamonds. One blue and one green. However when I place the symbols on the tree it doesn’t work. I have the diagram to see what order to place them but it seems like I have a wrong symbol. Is that possible? When I watched the walkthrough it did not have two diamonds. It showed one diamond and something else. Am I missing a symbol that I can’t find? Anyone else have this issue? Thanks. FC.
Underrated Development team and Games
The Escape Cube series are underrated gems buried under cookie cutter games flooding the app store everyday. The story keeps you hooked with a Twin Peaks vibe as well as interesting puzzles that make you bend your brain a bit till you to get familiar with the Escape Cube/Rusty Lake mechanics. One of my favorite series now would recommend the premium series such as Rusty Lake Hotel as well as Rusty Lake roots. I haven’t tried the newer releases yet but plan on marathoning since I’ve found out today their planning a newer release hopefully soon. Hope they get more support and keep up with the amazing gameplay and plot
Beautifully done.
I don’t really rate games often, but I have to in this circumstance. Every single one of these Rusty Lake games I have purchased has been incredible. These games are complex, beautifully done, and so much fun. They really get you thinking, but aren’t too hard to solve. There is no timer, no consequences for wrong guesses- just beautiful stories with great imagery. No ads or anything. I adore supporting this company for the fact that their games are just incredible. I highly HIGHLY recommend any game made by Rusty Lake.
Love every Rusty Lake adventure!
Thank you for making them inventive, dark, addictive, and entertaining. When I start one, I can’t put it down until I finish. I’m glad you have the you tube walk throughs, though I try not to use them, you do get stuck sometimes. I prefer logic t o trial and error and most of the puzzles can be logic’d. Thank you, I can’t wait for another one. I wish you would do more after quests, like in roots, I really enjoyed going back for more!
Awesome games!
I’ve played all of these games in chronological order. The free ones are short, the chapters you have to pay for are much longer. They’re worth purchasing. Do yourself a favor if you like creepy, interesting puzzle games. Buy and download all of the chapters, Google the chronological order of these games, and play them in order. I can’t wait for more chapters to be released!
Highly recommended
No bugs noted when I played unlike some reviews. This may be my favorite one out of six games of Rusty Lake I have played thus far. Just found out about this today and I have binge played six of their games. Some series and certainly more difficult than the others. Seasons is intricately done, The Lake, the Mill, and Birthday are amazing. Overall an intriguing game.
Bravo
The second chapter in the Rusty Lake series again fails to disappoint. Though much shorter, I got legitimate chills while playing, to the point of kiiiinda not wanting to look to the next screen. I would pay if it meant keeping this series going. Great game, solid music, wonderful creepiness. Would also recommend this game. Downloading chapter three as I type!
Beautiful, surreal, and chilling
This is one of the best escape games I have played! I have never found one as suspenseful and surreal. The sound score is beautiful which gives the contrast between the terrifying storyline. I am still working my way out of the cabin, but with every click, I am scared to see the outcome! With its beauty and sometimes horrific scenarios, sets a new chapter for escape/horror games! Great game!
Loved it!
This game was not only short, but eerie and interesting. Puzzles using creepy, eerie themes made the game more fun. The one thing is the rating is correct. 12+ because the game uses very... gory themes. Blood, body parts, and overall things I wouldn’t recommend for you 7 year old. Other than that, this is an amazing short, eerie, interesting game.
Emotional roller coaster in a good way! 👍
This series is so well done, and so different. Entertaining, unpredictable, surprising fun with a horror edge. All five games released so far play very well with no glitches. Be sure to support the true devs by downloading only LoyaltyGame versions, there have been a few knockoffs which were quickly removed thanks to swift action by the LoyaltyGame folks :)
The best..
..escape game series I've ever played! Cannot wait for more to be released! Stop what you're doing and get both games and play them now! So beautifully designed I am at a loss for words! (This is my second time writing a review the first time was for Cube Escape: Seasons the other game in the series, it's that good!!)
Best Developers Ever!!
I have been amazed with the design and thought that went into each Rusty Lake game. It seems silly to call it a game as it has you thinking and feeling and always wanting the next one to come out when you’ve completed one.
Great story, but app is buggy
I really enjoyed the first installment of Cube Escape (Seasons), but for some reason, I've run into multiple bugs in this one. The game sometimes crashes if you don't exit out to the main menu before taking a break. When you try to open the game again, hitting "continue" on the load screen results in a black screen. And I've run into a situation where an inventory item lands outside of a reserved space, rendering it inaccessible. The only way I've resolved these issues is by deleting and reinstalling the game (first bug) or resetting my progress in the current installation (second bug). Both are frustrating. I don't think this is part of the intended game play experience.
What Changed?!?!?
I started playing a Rusty Lake games well over a year ago & loved them so much that in a short period I had bought every one they made. After completing them deleting them, I explored other point &click adventure developers. After a year I decided to re download many of the games and have been shockingly disappointed that most of the Cube Escape games now have cheesy and annoying ads that come up when you click on the setting icon (the cog or gear sprocket). Shame on you guys. If you need more $$ for you apps, start charging more, but don’t allow advertisers to put their garbage on a game that was already paid for a lonnngggg time ago.
