    insanely good

Incredibly well made. Although it’s not my most favorite cube escape, this was still really up there on the list because of how well the game was made. I absolutely adored the additions of how you could interact with things. The graph bit where you had to find a point and travel there by changing the direction and moving forward was also a nice touch, along with the book and how you had to look at one thing and figure it out gradually. Very well made, I have no doubt paradox will be just as good if not better.

Some of the best games I’ve ever played.

I am so happy that I found these games. They are far more in-depth, puzzling, challenging and overall superior to other “escape room” apps. The story is so interesting, the puzzles are amazing, and the games are just fantastic. I love the new “clues” feature in this one, and I definitely think that should be in all future Rusty Lake games. These are fantastic games for anyone who wants some really great puzzles. To the people at Rusty Lake, fantastic job. Keep doing what you’re doing. Can’t wait to see what comes next!

    Amazing Series

There are too many people giving this game low scores because they think there is a glitch preventing them from progressing. Trust me, these aren’t glitches. I was stumped on a couple of the same things mentioned, but I stuck with it and realized I was missing something. This is an amazing series, and this episode is one of my favorites. So ignore the reviews claiming they can’t finish because of what they believe are glitches and keep trying to figure out what you might be missing if you get stuck

    Don’t cave, you’ll get it!

Thanks for another deep victory! I love every Rusty Lake game. Thank you for making them inventive, dark, addictive, and entertaining. When I start one, I can’t put it down until I finish. I’m glad you have the you tube walk throughs, though I try not to use them, you do get stuck sometimes. I prefer logic t o trial and error and most of the puzzles can be logic’d. Thank you, I can’t wait for another one. I wish you would do more after quests, like in roots, I really enjoyed going back for more!

    Continue!

Loads of fun, although a couple puzzles were really tricky to figure out. I ended up hit and miss, and still not sure what I did to get it! (Maps, especially) Loved the unusual mini games... directing fish was fun challenge. Quirky and a little gross. Still a great series of games. Have to keep checking out places that have been used before in the game, as new clues might be there. This one ended rather abruptly with the promise of to be continued. Hoping that comes out soon!

    Several gotchas but good

There were a few clues I had to look up and when I saw what they were I was not pleased. Tapping to open the main door was way too obscure to expect the user to randomly try at a random point in the game. Dragging the painted elixir onto the painted men… come on. I had already tapped on it like twelve times. All in all, despite the three or four sadistically obscure clues, it’s a great little game. Well done.

    Facebook ad leads to addiction

I saw an ad for this on Facebook and figured that I’d try it out. Little did I know that I would be downloading every game in the series. It’s been kind of fun playing them out of order too because you really take every piece of the story as another piece to the puzzle in solving the overarching game: What is Rusty Lake? I love puzzles but I’m grateful for the walkthroughs because some puzzles are really arduous but so rewarding!

    Awesome games!

I’ve played all of these games in chronological order. The free ones are short, the chapters you have to pay for are much longer. They’re worth purchasing. Do yourself a favor if you like creepy, interesting puzzle games. Buy and download all of the chapters, Google the chronological order of these games, and play them in order. I can’t wait for more chapters to be released!

    Best one yet

By far the best one yet. Longer, more in-depth, harder puzzles. For those who think it is hard: do the others first! I wouldn't have wanted it easier, but perhaps a little less mechanical. Keep up the great work guys! Make a full-length story similar to Rusty Lake and I would quickly buy it on Steam! I've already been evangelizing this game to all my fellow gamers. Everyone loves it.

    Perfect puzzle game

Such an eerie, challenging, interesting puzzle game. I am interested in the story, my brain hurt (in a good way) trying to figure out the puzzles and had an aha moment when I got it as they’re really intelligently designed. So excited to have found cube games and I’m surprised they’re not higher up on the app’s list. P.s. the hints were a great addition. Rather than full out explanation

    I’m Amazed

This game is so addicting and intriguing, you can tell that the developers took ages to find tune the details. I stayed up all night trying to solve it(and admittedly, using walkthroughs a lot) but I’m usually pretty good about not staying up so that says a lot. I love the graphics and the story behind it, this is a perfect game for anyone who has ever walked the surface of the earth. I absolutely love it!!!

Won’t let me click the “To Be Continued” button at the end

I know this a little dramatic but I couldn’t necessarily finish the game. There was a glitch at the end where I couldn’t click the “To Be Continued” button. I would really like to be able to finish it because I’m trying to complete every one of the games and I was already stopped by this glitch. I know I technically finished the game but my OCD is just kicking me in the leg. I give a 4 star since this game is just amazing. I would give it a 5 star but I really want to finish the game. I already tried resetting the level and it still doesn’t work.

    Engaging, haunting

While the controls were a little clumsy, the game itself was extremely good. The puzzles required attention to detail. They seemed to be simple – dragging the player into the trap until they could not just put it down, compelling them to work their way out. Even the help was not hopeless spoiler. For that matter, the game itself leaves one wanting more! I really cannot wait for the next installment. Bravo, Rusty Lake! (And what the hell was with that shark?)

    Ink bottle glitch

Update: Still can’t finish. Made a mistake in order of navigation of points on radar with no way to correct & no way to get the next cube. After 3 attempts just deleting this chapter. Watching the walkthrough to see how it comes out. Hopefully “Paradise & Paradox” chapters are better thought out. Too bad, still love the series, but disappointed that developers didn’t foresee this. *************************** Love the series, but very frustrated with the ink bottle glitch. Took the ink bottle in part 2 early in the game which apparently caused something to break & after watching the walkthrough (tried the hints) no fish would appear. Restarted part 2 waiting until after getting the pearl to take the ink bottle. Tried a couple of different settings on the radar, now I’m stuck again because I can’t change the settings & get the black cube or octopus. Again checked the walkthrough & found I can’t change the settings on the radar. OMG, have to reset again. Really! DEVELOPERS, Please fix so the ink bottle doesn’t mess up the settings & freeze the radar. Will reset again because I love the Rusty Lake game, but I’m soooo frustrated.
