    Haiku

So, I’m a lover of these games. I haven’t found better stories. I find myself exploring old games a second time. It takes a while to complete one of these. You don’t sit in an airport and have a solution. You work, and explore, and you figure things out. Go back and look at old games to learn how these developers think. They were harder, and had to dumb them down a bit for our juice box generation. I just found this game as I was looking for new content from Haiku. From playing their “future” games before this, I understand how ahead of their time they are! Kate Grey is a show I would watch on tv, but Haiku brings a mystery you can only experience by doing it yourself.

    I’m a Fan now!!

I’ve never heard of Haiku Games until a couple weeks ago. NOW I’m a fan of Haiku Games! I thought when I started playing this game that it would be like most hidden/escape games where you do a couple episodes and then pay for the full game. Not this one! So much challenges. I enjoyed it til the very end. I played all your games and i am dying to know if you’ll make any more. Please say yes! I would love to see what you’ll come up with in the future. Ahhh im getting excited just thinking about it! Love your games! Keep it up! 😃

    No WiFi Game

This game plays like a escape game, but it has a plot with cutscenes (hence, Adventure Escape). Many of the puzzles can be solved with ease, but the developers leave enough difficult puzzles for you to try and figure out (the hard puzzles are usually at the end of a chapter). You can find and collect stars to use as currency for answers, but try not to use them unless it is necessary. The best part (of course) is you do not need any WiFi to play this game. Haiku Games craft their apps rather well. No disappointments so far.

    Excellent, excellent game!!

I really got tired of the HOPAs on big fish, etc. No thought involved in most of them, they are going towards movie graphics and crap game play. This game, and most by Haiku, are everything I like in a game. The puzzles take some thought! Yay! No hidden object scenes to disrupt the flow of the story. This is also a fairly long game; I have certainly seen some bf games that were not as long. They are lots of these Adventure Escape games, the more recent are my favorite, but the older ones are quite good as well. Thank you Andrew Ow!

    Fave one yet

Okay, so I’ve rated a lot of Haiku games because I LOVE them and I keep getting new favorites... but this is definitely my favorite so far, even more than the Indiana Jones-type one. The puzzles were unique and not too hard or easy. I loved that I hardly had to use a walkthrough for this one. Storyline was engaging but not too dark. Interesting characters without any agenda. Just straight up puzzle fun. These guys behind Haiku have upped the puzzle game genre and I hope they continue to offer these free! Great job!!

    Fun

I don't normally leave review on app but I believe this game deserves it. It is good length and it always gives you good enough amounts of clues to solve the problem - it takes time but that's what puzzle games require isn't it? Challenging but yet you can get it done without any hints. The ONLY problem I see is if you cannot get the game done in one shot, you have to play the beginning of the current level again once you restart the game.

    Great game thus far!

I’ve played several Haiku games and have enjoyed them all! Puzzles are challenging, some are just fun, but all are well woven into the story line. So the most diffucult puzzle took 2 days and one hint to solve! I still have one complaint/request and that is to save progress within a chapter. I find That my browser causes a Haiku game to reload to the beginning of the current chapter.... grrr. Still I am enjoying these great games!! WD

    More more more please!

I find myself playing these over and over, hoping a new one will be out each time I check. I enjoy them all, but dig the Kate Gray stories the most. These games are what I’m hoping for every time I see a “hidden clue” app (which I love, too) - but there is never anything to solve. These games are just as fun for my three kids (12-18yrs) as they are for me (a 40-something mom). I can’t recommend these highly enough!!

    Challenging puzzles!

This is the 4th Haiku game that I've played and it promises to be just as challenging and fabulous as the others. They provide tons of game time if you don't rush to use the hints. Keep it up, Haiku! My little only advice to you would be to develop games that are at least twice as long and then charge a one-time price of say $5-$7. I'd rather pay up front for something of this caliber than get nickel and dimed by in app purchases.

    Only escape games worth playing

I love all the escape game by this maker. Let's you play full games. No annoying ads stoping you every chance they get. Well made and good games that make you think. Most escape games I've played only let's you play a few levels and to top it off they have puzzles that make no sense. Luckily you won't have any issues like that with these game developers! Thank you for the awesome games!

    doesn't save progress automatically

I really like this game! My only concern is that this game doesn't save progress automatically. It was not hard for me to solve the puzzles again since I still had the impression. It is just annoying! Sometimes I needed to leave the game and did other things first, but I found out that I had to solved the same puzzles again. The progress was only saved automatically when you finished a chapter right away; Otherwise, you needed to start over again at the very beginning of the chapter.

    Pretty good...

so far. I've been playing for 10 minutes and finished Chapter 1. If I write a review at this point, I'm told I'll receive 5 free stars. I've enjoyed Ch. 1, so here's to hoping the rest of the game is fun. If it is, I'll revisit my star rating. I won't be spending any $ *Update: after deleting this game and waiting several weeks, I am playing again. Other games by this developer are quite good. It's obvious the developer is working. The games are user friendly now, and provide more free stars as rewards while still being challenging. Adding a star.

    Early review written for hints

It's way to early in the game for me to do an enlightening review, but with the way I'm using hints I had to go for it! Thus far, the game is challenging although it's 50/50 as to whether it's stimulating or aggravating. For example, I opened the key box and looked around then...WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME! Obviously I was to locate Kate's key. Burned stars to find out I was to eliminate pairs which was unnecessary because the singular key was apparent. The game, however, wouldn't let me grab the key and go on without playing the match game. The fact that these people are cops but bend the rules and don't follow procedures even a wee bit is annoying to me also. I'm sure that's my Virgo anal retentive nature silently screaming but it is bothersome. Still, at this early stage of the game I'm invested in continuing which is a good thing.

    There is no escape.

Some of the puzzles are pretty challenging for me. If you can’t figure them out there is no way to skip the puzzle and go on with the game. Last night I spent over 30 minutes solving a puzzle only to find it wasn’t saved in the game. When I went in this morning my solved puzzle was erased and I have to start all over again. This has happened more than once. I may not have the patience for this game. I like doing the detective work and finding clues but the puzzles can be frustrating.
