    Great game, no iap!!

Don’t listen to people complaining, yes the game can be very difficult at times and most times the odds are against you but, the game is FREE and there are no iap which is fantastic. It’s actually a challenging and fun COMPLETE GAME which is rare with mobile games. If you play now and then the difficulty is not bad your characters will get better as you play and I personally like the difficulty. The game is not groundbreaking nor will it set the bar for anything specifically but it’s performs great , looks great , and do any want to force you into a paywall. Give it a shot, it may not be the best game out there but at least you know you can enjoy it as long as you have the will to play.

    The best version yet...

But please fix the bug where the game freezes when selecting a spell target. Also, it crashes completely quite often on my "old" iPhone 6. My only other issue is that sometimes the randomness is a little too random in that you get completely screwed no matter how prepared you thought you were....too many axe throwers, no food anywhere, not enough potions, etc. but such is a roguelike I suppose. Otherwise, this is by far the most superior Dungelot and basically replaces the others, though I feel like the only one that loves D2.

    Excellent. Get this.

Perfect difficulty balance. Clever turn based RPG puzzler with good progression and rewarding levels. Someone mentioned bugs one year ago - I’ve experienced one crash in many hours of playing. One tip on progression - switch from the Paladin to the Vampire when you get stuck - the resulting coins can be used to upgrade all characters by purchasing mansion items.

    A fun and game

I’m enjoying this game very much so far. The graphics are cartoonish, but in a very smooth, well-done way, The gameplay is very addictive; this is a tough game, but you will keep coming back to try again, and the difficulty makes it rewarding when you finally complete that dungeon. If you’re into Rogue-type dungeon crawlers, you’ll definitely enjoy this.

    Strangely Addictive

Once I got the hang of it I really started enjoying the game, even requiring multiple run throughs to beat a particular dungeon. I haven't unlocked any of the additional characters yet, but am enjoying the first character. Only had one bug where I had to force quit when I wasn't able to back out of target selection when there were no targets. Was looking for a fun fame that didn't nickel and dime you after playing Rule with an Iron Fish and it looks like this one will fit the bill! My experience is on an iPhone 6s Plus with the latest iOS.

    Fun & challenging, please update!

Fun and challenging game that is very easy to play & learn. The graphics are super as is the game play. Game has crashed only once since I downloaded it a few weeks ago and I play it daily. Would be nice if there was a store in the game where you could buy supplies before entering dungeons as the Hideout guy often times doesn't have what you need. Also looks like the game was last updated in 2016, yikes! Please give us an update so we can continue playing this truly fun game. Thank you.

Enjoying this luck based and somewhat buggy game

I finally got around to picking this game up. Definitely enjoying it. I can see how the luck can work against you, but it doesn't take away from the fun. The bugs do, however. It's crashed on me once and twice it has stopped responding to my touch - in about 30 minutes of gameplay. Luckily it saves where you left off for the most part.

    Disappointed

I was a fan of the free to play Dungelot games, so I bought this one, but I wish I hadn't. I'm stuck on the third dungeon, right at the beginning of the game. No matter how many times I try, I can only get through about half the floors in either of the unlocked dungeons. I've bought all the weapons and armor, and they do not help. Really poor game design and balance.

    Good Game

I have an iPad mini. It plays great 95% of the time. But sometimes it freezes and all you can do is exit and then re-enter the game. This makes you restart the last level you were on. It's a little frustrating but not enough to spoil the game. If this was fixed I would give it a 5 star rating.

    A little buggy, otherwise fine

Bugs include: word balloons showing up behind UI (namely goblin shops), crashing after death stats appear (I'm on an iPhone 6s, so.... not the hardware), unable to progress if you load a game wherein you didn't pass the first dungeon. // all of those are OK, a little annoying for a paid game (all of those mentioned bugs are CONSISTENT, not one-offs or anomalies), but they're bearable. The game itself is part strategy, part luck. Sometimes the luck is REALLY skewed against you, to a degree that it takes the fun out of it. The more you grind (and it is a grindfest) the better chance you have of countering any bad luck, but there's no guarantee. The story is barely there, so I hope you don't pick this up for that. All in all, this is an OK game that, because there's a luck element involved, isn't crazy fun, just average.

    Gets tedious quickly; freezes up

First off, I’ll note that the game has some consistent bugs that cause it to freeze (typically when you’re targeting a spell). That can be a bit annoying when it happens in the middle of a run that’s going well. More generally, the issue is that the game starts off relatively easy, giving you some sense of advancement, and then quickly becomes a challenging, painful grind. If that’s the kind of thing you’re into then carry on, but I can only run the same dungeon so many times, waiting for some good luck (and possibly a rare stat boost, before the fun is fully drained away.

    Great, if you're a masochist.

I love the first two, and decided to immediately purchase this without thinking twice. While this sequel certainly is a lot more elaborate, it's painfully difficult. The addiction level is high at first, until you realize you're starting the same dungeons over and over and over relying on pure luck. It winds up being no better than a slot machine. I remember they were complaints that the first one was too easy. Now it went far in the opposite direction.

    Bad luck

I’ve never played a game where the rng was so consistently and catastrophically skewed against the player. Not just “aw man, I still didn’t get whatever” but “aw man, I’m dead again, 3 dungeons into the 20 dungeon run...again.” Some people consider this a challenge I guess, I don’t, I just think it’s needlessly frustrating. The graphics are cute, the gameplay is moderately fun, it would probably be a top game for me if I could play longer at a stretch without dying (if they added some sort of difficulty slider so the die-hard challenge lovers could bang their heads to their hearts’ content against the rng and more casual players could just like... kill some time seeing what the game designers got up to in the further levels?). From the other reviews *eventually* all the dying let’s you build up enough stuff to counter *some* of the horrendous luck but I don’t see myself playing long enough to find out. Level-level-dead, rinse and repeat from the beginning forever, isn’t much to get excited over.

    Great game

This is a great game if you love repeatedly bashing your face in with a sledgehammer. The rng is absolutely atrocious, and you'll be stuck playing the same exact level for hours on hours due to inflated artificial difficulty and rng that punishes you when you are getting towards the end of a dungeon. That with the added benefits of costly upgrades, and low gold earn rate ensures that you'll be playing the same dungeon over and over and over and praying that the rng gods are on your side this run. No wonder there are only a few levels in this game. There is so little substance here but you'll want to keep coming back. I can't explain it.
