    A Boat Load of Fun

This game makes me happier than a tornado in a trailer park. I have played this game for about 2-ish years. I feel a need to tell everyone that it isn’t hard to unlock most countries if you put enough time in the game. I don’t play this game religiously either, only on long road trips and I have only 5 more countries to unlock. I would would like to say to everyone that every country I have played so far is winnable, however I do take advantage of the free 100 supplies on harder countries such as Ireland and Estonia. My suggestion for playing countries that are small and are “impossible” to play is to abandon your front lines and invade (via airdrop) small undefended countries such as Denmark, Ireland and occasionally Hungry. This has allowed me to win as Poland and Latvia. At much to another player’s surprise who also left a review, I have won multiple times as the Netherlands by invading Ireland, and yes it was on my first attempt when I first tried this tactic. Leaving reviews are generally a customer’s only connection to a developer: So I have a request for the developers. What countries must I play and win as to unlock Spain and Switzerland?

    Favorite Mobile Strategy Game

I’ve always been a fan strategy war games. From HOI4 to Risk I’ve played and loved them all. However, the problem with most of them, is that they require either a decent computer or a console to play, meaning you can only really play them at home. I downloaded Risk mobile and it was ok, but highly simplistic, and I got bored very fast. That’s when I found this game. While not as complex as HOI4 or EU4, it greatly exceeded my expectations for a mobile game of this genre. It has just enough extra mechanics to maintain interest over time while also not having too many, to allow you to pick it up and play it on the go. To put it bluntly, it’s an amazing game that I’d recommend to anyone and everyone looking for a grand strategy game on mobile! (Update: A while ago, the app stopped working on my phone and I originally left a review seeking help on why that was. After receiving customer support, I deleted it and reinstalled and everything’s working fine again! I greatly appreciate the help and I’m glad I can continue to play this amazing game!)

    Love it!

Ok so this is a game that I enjoy playing in my free time. I can be playing Xbox games and this at the same time. I love how it can be a challenging strategy game. The only thing I don’t like is how the a.i focuses all on you instead of other countries. It’s not fun when I’m playing as the Netherlands and I’m being surrounded by the strongest forces Germany has. But this is a lotta fun and would recommend it as it’s addicting. You have challenges to unlock countries. I love it how this game gives you a objective and once you complete a boatload of objectives you can play in Asia. I could make a suggestion with a difficulty maybe? It would be fun to actually be able to stand a chance in the end game scenarios. It’s also annoying how a country has a sort of infinite turns and resources. I would also love it if it was a bit easier to unlock countries. I would love to play as Germany (because I just started playing and unlocked every country in pack 1 but Germany) but the challenges for the Netherlands are annoying because it’s all based off of fighting Germany.

    Game of the century

I’ve plugged in over 100 hours on this game. Absolutely enjoyed every minute. All the reviews under 5 stars are firm encouragement to the developers to fix some minor issues, however, I absolutely understand how hard any fix might be as the game is at its optimum functionality. The AI is very forgiving, in case of alliances, the allies tend to be a bit uninvolved in your battles, but I wouldn’t want it any other way. I really hope the game doesn’t stop here. It would be awesome if the developers combine both maps into one, that way France has more than just Algeria overseas. Playing Turkey might become a lot more fun if the map included Syria and Lebanon. Last thing I want to say, I would love to pay some money to have the experimental mode! Where I’m given unlimited resources- quick games will become a 30 min play instead of 2 hours. Thanks for an awesome simulator!

    Almost perfect!

The only thing I could think of to improve this game, is difficulties. These would be used for the less experienced audience and more difficult challenges, as well as better players can enjoy more challenging and skill level taking tasks. One thing I have noticed throughout my games is that the computer players focus more troops on you than other computer players, which isn't fun to deal with as the Netherlands against Germany. One last thing that I noticed is that the computer players can cheat in resources, or ignore requirements for reinforcements / technology. If you could change that so these issues don't occur as often that would be amazing, otherwise, this is an amazing and well designed app! Edit: It would be nice if you added Luxembourg with an infantry and 3 income, as well as polish-ing the German Polish border to make it a little bit more historical!

    Best WWII game ever!

I first learned about this game on the Google pixel, and it was the best game I ever played! Right now I’m working on conquering all of Europe as Russia, It’s working out pretty well for me. I would like the developers of the game to take into consideration of putting a new game mode the game. In this game mode you have infinite resources for your country, called “experimental” mode. In order to make this game mode free to play and fair, achievements for the game and unlocks for completing the task for the country are disabled, because it would be unfair if you could just complete the task and earned all the achievements with putting zero effort and no strategy to unlock the achievement or complete task. Thank you for to the developers who took the time to read this and I hope you can add this to the game very soon. Thank you for your time and keep working on this incredible game!!

  • By great game! love it.

What an incredible game, but some thing to consider.

I have been playing this game for some time now, and I’m in love with it. There is so much strategy and tactics involved, (heh, get it?) And the game mechanics are very intuitive. However, one thing that might just improve it a little bit more is this: So, you’re playing as Germany, you invade Poland, but then the USSR is there... the Soviet Union isn’t much of a problem at first, but it becomes a nuisance as you try to invade France and the Benelux. So, here’s my proposal: In 1941, you will get a pop up announcing Germany’s declaration of war on the USSR. This way, it will follow history more and make the USSR less of a nuisance. I understand this is a lot to ask, but maybe you could think about it. Again, I love this game! Be sure to play it. :)

    Please Add These!!!!

Listen I love your game it’s really fun and it actually requires skill and makes you think like a general. But I have some things you could add. First, declaring war should not just be invading territory there should be like a declare war button and speaking of war rather than a country getting destroyed they should make peace treaties with other countries would be cool. Second regions, the Europe map is amazing but North Africa should be parts of sub Saharan Africa like Sudan, Somaliland, Eritrea, etc which were colonies at the time. Some countries like the US should start off with more territory and receive support from the mainland. Third and final, some of the missions are impossible like Latvia, Netherlands, etc you will get invaded on the first turn before you can even do anything. I’m hoping in the future like very soon you can make these updates possible, if you make these updates this game would be 1000% better!!

    Great but...

Ok love the game it’s great but my one problem is that the quests are way harder than I thought don’t get me wrong I love the challenging missions but like some that I can’t pass or that I want countries now instead of taking several hours to get it I would buy these countries and buy the more saves and the Asia map but every thing is way to expensive. For example if I had one country that I wanted to buy in a pack but I have all the others it would cost me 10$ to unlock that pack and only get one And you have to buy them in a pack or earn the countries separately .there are 3 packs that’s 30$ and the Asia map is another 10$ and the game saves for another 10$. If this was for less like 2.99 or 1.99 I would buy all of these. I feel like this is a cash grab from the original game. Thank you for your time and I hope this gets fixed.

    Diplomacy

First of all you need to be able to advance into friendly territory without invading. This is a critical flaw that makes some men completely useless as you can’t move them anywhere. It’s a great game and if you’re looking for a WW2 strategy game definitely consider this. It’s combat and AI is realistic and engaging. The reason I gave the app 4 stars is because there is little to no diplomacy. Even if you do not attack a country and have no alliance, they will still always end up attacking you. There should be an option in the game to offer your allegiance with any group you choose. Whether they accept or deny should be a probability based upon whether you’ve attacked them or their allies (lower), and whether or not you are currently fighting their enemies (higher). Add this and the game would definitely be 5 stars!

Pretty good game, but a few problems

OK, so overall this game is pretty good, however, there are events such as treaties between countries but I can’t find a way to actually do this stuff. An example of this is the way Germany invaded Poland was by signing a treaty with Russia. Also, Czechoslovakia and Austria were annexed by Germany prior to the war, so Germany should have the territory. Additionally, I often find that because I have no control over event systems such as learning resources or having economic success, this can be bad. For example, when I’m playing Germany I often find that Romania joins the Soviet union leaving the German alliance, which then leaves me with an enemy in the south. Lastly, it said in the update there were generals - how do you get them? Other than that, I’ve had this game for about a year and think it’s a pretty good one!

    A Fun, Brain-Challenging Game

The game is fun, crushing enemies after hard-fought pushes is ultra-satisfying, and the AI is challenging. (Note that phones may struggle to load the game, tablets work best if you have one.) No matter what anyone says, it doesn’t require paying to win. You can buy in-game resources if you want, but you can also buy the Asia map, other European countries, and extra save slots. These features aren’t necessary to enjoy the game, but they do add diversity to your games. (Plus you can get extra resources just by watching a quick ad.) I only have three complaints: you can’t change which team you are on (Allies, Axis, Comintern, etc). Sometimes an AI takes a province you have to take, and you can’t take it from them because they are on your team. My second complaint is that ads are a little frequent. I understand that not many people pay money for the game, but every other time I open the research or reinforcements tab, I get an ad. My third complaint is that there is no multiplayer that I am aware of. I would really like to play with my friends, but we cannot. Overall, the game, while slightly annoying at times, is very fun and easy to play and is great when you have lots of spare time.

It’s ok, but it could use some improvement.

So, first of all, the game is fun, I don’t want that to be undermined. I love how you can decide exactly what you want to do, depending on the situation. But the AI for your allies were, well to say the least, a bit disappointing. Almost none of my allies helped as I fended off Germany, Italy, AND Spain all at once. They were barely doing a thing, apart from a few naval skirmishes and some failed landing operations. They never bothered to directly assault the enemy. Also, I think instead of having a separate tiny faction for the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia, you should just incorporate them into the allies. Or maybe go a step further and outright let the player decide which side they want to be on. I would like to see what might have happened if, for instance, America vs Britain and France, or Germany vs Italy and the USSR. Overall the game is still enjoyable, but could be better.

    Asia Map’s Impossible Tasks

When the game functions like it should, it can be great but the Asian map simply pisses me off. In exhibit A, we have the RoC and CCP which have a scheduled event to simulate the Chinese Civil War. Why is this broken, you might ask? Because they get volunteers every turn, even on every providence they conquer. This obviously pushes the two countries that could be large even larger and if they’re small, they will have a massive advantage. This would instantly favor the Allies or Socialist block, making me think twice before picking axis. But it gets worse. When you play as Japan and reach somewhere in 1945, you will instantly lose the game without a single chance to simulate the atomic bomb hitting Japan. I have no idea why you guys thought it would be great to not only have an event that destroys two providences, but also removes the potentially largest power from their faction and on top of that disband their military regardless of their position. This got me from a critical near-victory to an unfair defeat. If I could, I would refund this map for just making it impossible to play as Japan. Side note: The bonuses given to small countries in the Europe map is not even present in the Asian map which of course adds insult to small countries. Adding the Free French and naval advance parties fun and challenging, but playing as small countries or disadvantaged factions ruined this game for me.
