Jewel Quest: Best Match 3 Games Wiki

If you can get passed what’s wrong or glitches, this is truly the most addictive game I’ve played. I’m not a great player but I do go back and try for three stars on each level. I like the challenge of beating my own game. The Glitches; I have purchased extra lives several times and have not received them. I get error messages and cannot connect to FB. I cannot turn off the music or sound effects.

I have really enjoyed playing this game, but it has become increasingly difficult to play and don't feel that I've gotten even halfway through the game. The pay to play with extras option is frustrating. Then with the latest update the game will not stay open & keeps crashing. Want to keep playing but it might be time to cut my loses...

I enjoy this game and have for years, both on the computer and the iPad. At one point, I wanted to restart completely but it has saved my progress and I can’t figure out how to wipe it. I bought the extra levels a long time ago on another iPad but I can’t get into them on this one and will not purchase them again. But overall, I enjoy it enough to give it a 4.

The game is really good - I’m only disappointed that this version sets relic purchase prices (in game coins) so high, and makes levels so hard without help. The original jewel quest was much less monetized. I know making money is necessary for games to be developed, but I don’t like feeling forced into buying. But it is a really oddly fun and compelling game, tho really quite simple.

I lost three lives attempting to complete this level. The screen freezes and you lose bonus purchases and a life when you try to reset it. Please fix this bug!

Some levels are just too difficult and takes weeks to get past without using helps or extra lives. The only way to get extra lives (or time on a timed level) is to fill out 15 min worth of offers and give your email to spammers. I did it ONCE knowing what I was doing but really wanted the extra time on an almost beat level, and when I finally got back to the game it had booted me out anyway. I still keep playing bc I enjoy it but I don’t enjoy being stuck on each level for days at a time- and I’m not just a bad player, other games I move thru pretty quickly.

I restarted playing about a month ago, on my iPad. I had progressed to a higher level 50-something maybe. Fighting those pesky monkeys. After waiting for my lives to regenerate to replay my level, I was bumped all the way back to the beginning. I’m currently at level 24. I began playing on the iPhone app, and only got to level 20 and was blocked unless I purchase premium levels. The app does not totally fit on my iPhone 6 screen. Overall, it is a disappointment. But it is entertaining, and better than my Windows based laptop version, that frequently froze up.

The game is enjoyable at first. Great sound nice animations. However at a point it just turns into a frustrating pay to win scheme. Specifically level 178. You cannot beat the level requiring you to spending money and it’s still not beatable. It’s a shame because this could be the best match 3 game on the App Store. If you want to sell stuff that’s fine but don’t make impossible to complete levels. **Update. This game gets very buggy once you start using the dynamite. Some gems in Squares become invisible which makes the level unbeatable.

Are the developers still there? Purchased lives but wasn’t given any. Been playing this game for 10 years...just as addicting as ever, but let down it would just take my money and run. I don’t want to delete this game, but waiting 30 minutes for only one life at a time is truly frustrating when free time doesn’t work like that, so I made a small purchase to not wait 30min yet here I am 30 minutes later, and only one life. I don’t care if it was $100, &50, $1... I want my money back.

I have always enjoyed Jewel Quest games by IWin. This game however will take your money and then the game shuts off before you can use the item. I also owned almost all of the relics and the game froze and wouldn’t let me play so I had to reinstall and now it says it won’t take my Facebook login as game is in development mode so I lost everything. I’ve had to start from the beginning without all of my purchases. Refund my $$ or give me my level back with all of my relics please.

Have been playing for a while now and the first time it happened I was ok with it, but this is the second time I have collected almost 2000 coins through constant play - with measles coinage reward, by the way. Both times I decided to use a help at 1440 or 1370 coins. I only used one instance of the help yet both times after my play using the help, the game deducted 10,000 coins from my account. While I enjoy playing the game - I refuse to pay money to a game that unfairly deducts the coins from my account. I want to point out that I only paid money a couple of times, but played daily to build up my coinage- this is unfair on multiple levels. I have deleted the account.

So I was looking for a dimple nostalgic game to play and I found this one. Played for a bit, noticed it was following a story of some sort (which was annoying in itself) and then I "ran out of lives"?!? Since Zi refuse to pay to play a game, I came back later and now I can't seem to get away from ads. I saw three in one sequence. I deleted this app immediately and will go back to simpler games. I only play while waiting for an appointment or waiting for my kids or on a lazy weekend day- no time to watch and click through multiple ads. Worthless and ridiculous to have to "wait" to play a game!

I loved the original back in the day. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I rolled my eyes at all the reviews saying it was rigged to get you to spend money. Then I got past the first bunch of introductory levels and I have to say I agree with everyone saying it is rigged to make it nearly impossible to win without making a purchase. I know a lot of games are like that but the lack of subtlety in this one is off putting. There are so many great match 3 games out there, it’s not worth it. Definitely skip this one. Sadly, I can not in good conscious recommend this to anyone!

Games like these are all rigged with algorithms that prevent completion of a level without purchasing boosts or extra lives. That enraging truth is more obvious in this game than in most. It becomes clear that the game actually turns tiles arbitrarily if the player succeeds too often or is hitting the end of allotted lives. We buy these games knowing that they are rigged but it has to be unobtrusive enough not to cause a player to simple get sick of the manipulation and delete. You won't have to delete if you just don't buy it in the first place. Don't be a sucker, as I was, learn from my mistake.
