Coming from the original game, playing the “GO” version will obviously not get you what you expected. There’s a bunch of reviews expressing dissatisfaction because of this. These are puzzle games; they take a certain combination of thought processes spanning both right and left brain. Addictive isn’t quite the word; for something to be addictive it requires that you must have more and more of it for the same effect, and produces an undesirable effect in ones life. MtG cardboard crack is addictive. This game is more of a tool for your brain like a composer is to an orchestra. Using one mode of thought to search for hidden objects, another to put the logic together building your path and yet another to find a creative solution, your brain is effectively exercised along the way and reward centers of your brain light up - a dopamine hit I haven’t gotten in years. But there aren’t the drawbacks here as with the original Tomb Raider; where poor timing on a tedious task, failed for the thousandth time sent a PS one controller flying across the room in frustration.

I looooove and admire the tomb raider series! I have ever since I was little. I’ve played all the tomb raider games and felt sad about not having another game to play lol. When tomb raider came out on IOS I was at first skeptical (I was thinking how could they put a legendary game that requires certain movements and gaming direction on an app?) I looked at other reviews and a small game play of it and I fell in love with the graphics! I officially downloaded the game and I was blown away on how it looks! I mean, you can tell they took their time, which is much appreciated. I appreciate the vibe still that you get playing tomb raider, that ominous, you don’t know what’s around the corner, or what to expect, the orchestra music, and what puzzle is it this time vibe. I like that you can still have to look around for hidden gems or pieces to something else! It’s awesome! I enjoy everything and so far i can’t stop playing lol. Downside? Maybe wished it was more of the “analog” controls but, this does work as well and it is something you can get use to!

Turn-based puzzles means there’s never any urgency, yet the great graphics and sound make the dangers Lara Croft faces somehow seem more immediate. Puzzles range from simple to fiendishly complex but are all eventually solvable. Gems hidden in the background of levels provide decent replay value, as you’re bound to miss some the first time through when focused on puzzle solving. By the time you go back to collect them all, you’ll be surprised how difficult it can be to remember the convoluted solution to trickier puzzles. An engrossing game well worth the price (and much more entertaining than Hitman Go or Deus X Go from the same developer, IMO).

As someone who typically hates mobile games, it’s awesome to see games like this start to make a name for mobile games. I know it’s been out for a while and others from the GO series have also been released but man better late than never. Plays great and looks stunning on both my iPhone 7 Plus and iPad Pro, especially on the iPad Pro. I’m just blown away and it’s only 99 cents. My only gripe, nit pick, is that when you go fast the animations aren’t fluid, the characters just skip around in an unnatural way which breaks the immersion a bit. I look forward to more games from the Tomb Raider GO series. 5/5

Lara Croft Go is a fabulous game of challenging puzzles and the graphics are breathtaking. As far as I know people like the more violent games in Square Enix like Deus Ex, Hitman, or Final Fantasy (never played it), but read this there is a community who wants a challenging game without any violence. I'm so inspired by this game I'm even making my own Lara Croft game (not digitally). I would prefer more monthly or weekly updates, but it is ok if you are really busy making other games. Please make another challenge. No matter what you name it or how you play it, it is going to be fabulous. Square Enix! Go!

I was looking for something to turn to during down time that was mentally engaging but also relaxed. This has fit the bill perfectly. No time limits and unlimited lives. I can go back and forth between -whatever- and come back to enjoy the music and gameplay. I love that I can move the character by swiping anywhere on my screen. That is a GREAT FEATURE. I sometimes swipe accidentally, but with no time limit or lives cost, it doesn’t phase me. I purchased the bundle pack because I understand the other games are just as awesome.

This is by far the best game I've played on my iPhone. I love the Tomb Raider series and have played most of them. Lara Croft Go is more than a loving tribute; while the iconic sounds, classic Lara garb, and signature Lara acrobatics warmly announced the return of an old friend, the purely puzzle gameplay is refreshingly new and increasingly challenging - i found the puzzles in the last several books/chapters to be far from trivial! The world design, style of art, sound affects, creature design, and story arch faithfully captured and preserved (throughout game play) the feel of the original games - I savored every moment.... Great Job!

I was skeptical at first being an original Tomb Raider fanatic but this game lives up to the legend. It took a little getting used to the movement controls but once I played a few levels it became easy. I had to go back and replay levels to find the hidden jewels because I was so focused on problem solving that I forgot to look for them but the game makes it easy to do so and not lose your forward progress. I will be sad when I finish; don’t want it to end. I happened to stumble upon this game during a free week but would gladly pay for it and/ or a sequel!

I love the game and I’m a HUGE fan of Tomb Raider I’ve played all of the games. This game is perfect but I feel like there should be more outfits, it would make the game even more fun. Outfits like Legend, Angel of Darkness, and the Tomb Raider 3 Antartica outfit. The outfits from the Tomb Raider Legend series made the games even more fun and I think that should be added into this game. It would be even more awesome if the outfits from Legend were added like the biker outfit and Lara’s athletic Croft Manor outfit, it would just make it more interesting. If you guys could do that it would be awesome! Thank you love the game(s)!

This board-game style take on Tomb Raider game is surprisingly engaging. Lara Croft GO's simple graphics harken bark to the character's original adventures without seeming dated. Its puzzles are challenging, but never frustrating. The touchscreen controls work pretty well. The game, while not tied to any particular continuity, is filled with subtle nods to Tomb Raider games past. I'm particularly fond of the familiar sound vases make when you break them, as well as Lara's signature handstand ledge climb technique. Lara Croft GO is a great mobile game which deserves every single award it's ever won.

I can’t stand most IOS games! In app purchases ruin everything for me. I’ve actually wonder why Nintendo hasn’t woken up to reality and allowed us download old games, but all that aside this one is AMAZING! I will full heartedly say this is best mobile game I’ve ever played. The game is simple, yet challenging. The visuals, the controls and how the games flows is far better than any other mobile game I’ve played. The only downside... I couldn’t stop playing this game and unlocked everything in a few days.

This game is so well done! I love Lara Croft and have been playing all Tomb Raider games since my PS1. I am always skeptical about getting them on the iPhone or iPad for fear of how the game will play. This game is amazing! It is so well done and I can’t say enough about it. The controls are easy to learn and the game has some challenge to it. It isn’t so hard though that you give up. I couldn’t stop playing it! Great job on this game developers! Please make more like this!!! 5 stars for sure!

It has been a while since I’ve enjoyed a game this much! I like casual games; games that you can put down and pick up whenever you want without the need to finish a level; games that are simple enough to understand so that you don’t need a tutorial to play. This is one such game. Plus, the graphics are incredible. The puzzles are challenge, yet not frustrating. And it has become my favorite game on my iPhone. I hope they make a sequel!

I like this one and I search and search for free fun games without ads and with some intelligent game play. Sporting bad guys that don’t pack too much of a punch and minimal light hearted fights, this game challenges you with increasingly difficult logic puzzles to navigate each level. Likely returning to these levels seeking missing pieces needed for future levels, this version boasts a lot of extra game play. Very well designed 3-D-ish graphics and a good throw back to good ol’ Lara Croft, Tombraider 3
