    Sets

Love the app! The recent changes make it even better. However, the solution for the Sets is not displayed long enough. The busy background and the almost instantaneous removal of the solution makes it very difficult to determine what I did not get correct. The addition of even two seconds or so would help. The light shades of some of the figures on white, especially when the centers of the figures are white, make it hard to assess very quickly. The app is my go to app daily for relaxation.

I literally feel the brain stimulation!

I know this sounds weird but when I play a certain game in this app that works on the lazy area of my brain I feel kind of light headed. Not in the dangerous sense, just almost a bit nauseated. It doesn't last and it's barely noticeable if I ignore it, and stops as soon as I stop exercising that area of my brain! I love the relaxing music. It calms me and helps me refocus. I love that you can set a reminder for daily brain stimulation exercises. The app is very user friendly too!

    Mental Awareness

I love this app!!! It helps me stay sharp and regulates my awareness to my iq level. I love how you can challenge the difficulty levels as desired to keep challenging the brain to grow and change. I rarely have time to play, but when i do i realize how i must change my ways of thinking to stay sharp snd focused! The creators of this app definitely had the consciousness of the player in mind with love and grace to grow! Thank you so much for this app!!!!

    I love this app!!!!❤️

Get this app if you like brain teasers. It doesn't cut you off in the middle of the brain teasers nor does it bombard you with annoying interrupting ads. It has different games you can challenge yourself with and you can choose the level of intensity you want to play the game with ( easy to hard). I'm currently looking for more brain teasers and I hope I'm as fortunate to find an app as fun as this one. Enjoy!!!

    Relaxing and fun!

In comparison to several other brain exercise type apps; I really enjoy this one the most. 1. The music is set very nicely. It's calming over all with a slight upbeat tempo that doesn't make me feel like falling asleep. 2. I thoroughly enjoy that I can adjust the levels for each game so they are still fun and challenging, but not way too hard or way to easy! :-) 3. I do love the variety of the games. Each one exercises different areas of the brain! 4. I do think it's wise to not have a timer or any kind of pressuring thing like that one each of the games. Everyone learns /adjusts differently. I'm personally am excellent in some areas, & poor in others (as is everyone to some degree). This game is perfectly flexible to accommodate everyone!

    Great App

I have been searching games to assist with my short term memory issues. I keep downloading multiple apps trying to get the variety I need. This is my first time playing but I have played each one in this app and am excited and hopeful to see if this helps me. Thank you for you time and effort and for making this available for me to be able to use. Blessings to you!

    My favorite!!

This is the game I go to first when “game time” is on my agenda! That way, if my time is limited, I know this will fulfill my gaming need. =) At first I skipped the ones that are not in my wheel house, but the different levels allowed me to gain confidence and eventually climb the levels. Very encouraging and satisfying. The couple that are timed challenge me, and I need that. Love it! Best game ever for engaging my brain in different areas. Thank you!

    Love yoga

Whether for my brain or body, I love yoga. I have been playing this game for over 4 years. In order to see how a problem is solved you must play the daily workout. Once you’ve passed and they show you the answer, minimize the end screen and you can review the answers at your leisure before you move on to the next game. I have improved my skills since playing this app.

    Latest version, redux

Update: The new Sets puzzle is a fine addition to an already great activity. Thanks again, Sarah, for keeping Brain Yoga updated--and fun! I really enjoy the most recent version of Brain Yoga Mobile. The two additional games of Logic Ball and Words 2 are great for those who play the Daily Workout as well as being fun on their own. Thanks, Megafauna; you took a geat game and made it even better!

I really like this app, but...

I just got this app about a week or two ago, and I have played several of the games. It’s a very very fun app with several game choices. My favorite is patterns, which is similar to logic puzzles and sudoku in its approach to problem solving. I also like sets, planning, and logic. The problem I have is that the app does not save your current game if you have to shut your ipad. I think that this is important. Since I wrote about this problem the developer has improved the performance on saves, although it doesn’t always save the last game. Also, I paid for the premium version but I only get it on my iPad. The price must be per device, not owner.

Too many ads, not enough time

These are familiar puzzles, present in many other apps such as Lumosity and Word Jigsaw. I do like how you can choose your level of difficulty. However, there is an ad after each and every puzzle, and some of them are long and don’t easily allow you to exit. There ends up being as much ad time as puzzle time. Also, there is not enough time to view a “solution” to a puzzle, especially with the “Sets” puzzle. This is very frustrating, especially if you want to get a better sense of the logic the puzzle uses. I’m usually pretty good at this type of puzzle, but gave up on this one. In short, not enough here for me to pay to avoid all the ads. I now play the Logic puzzle and that’s about it.

    Need more time

I really like the variety of games and the fact that it is paced to my ability. Due to a tumor I am having trouble with some of the rules, especially with the word games. If I need to pass the answers appear too quickly to help me understand what I have done wrong or help me move concepts to long term memory. Give me more time to understand or allow me to look at answers for as long as I need would really help. On the bright side the variety is helping me learn where the deficits are and showing me which skill sets are better. That helps me be positive knowing I am showing improvement. I would give this app 4.5 stars if the rules were better written and/or the timing of answers allowed me to figure the rules out on my own.

These games are relaxing and challenging

These games are relaxing yet engaging and challenging enough to keep my attention focused and entertained. 1). I paid the full $4.99 expecting to get access to more than what I already had. But things did not change much from the free version to the paid version. 2) the “sets” exercise does not work properly. Three times now I could not finish the exercise by the app kept saying “not a set” when according to the rules my selections were “sets”. Eventually I have to quit the “sets” exercise because I have difficulty completing that one exercise.

    Programming Needs to Follow Descriptions

Pattern matching. Seems simple. In programming, though, I expect it's quite complicated. The definition in game is a bit ambiguous, but the programming does not match the definition. The definition does not specify that ALL attributes must be the same or different, so clearly at least one set of attributes must be different in order to form a set. But what if 3 attributes are different? The programming doesn't recognize this. I'll give an example from level 4. Colors are magenta, teal, and green. Patterns are striped, blank, and filled. Shapes are triangle, square, and circle. Only the number is the same for each in the set: two. But the programming doesn't recognize this set, even though it fits the definition. By the way, the definition implies that it is possible to match cards that are completely identical in every way (all four attributes match) but clearly the game doesn't provide such opportunities. So perhaps the definition should be revised to clarify how the programming actually handles sets internally.
