Fun Game
There is not much of a plot, but who cares? The developers made a great decision on how to set up the game. All of the locations could easily be dream locations. Regardless, this game is all puzzles which is great. This game kept me busy for hours. The only improvement I would suggest is to name the Items you pick up. Sometimes I just had to guess the nature of an object because I couldn’t figure out what it was based on the way it looked. The hints were great. There were a lot of puzzles in each group of locations. The chapters were divided in a way that kept it challenging, but not overwhelming. Also, the fire on the stairs was odd. It seems like you would put that out before helping the boy get a drink. But hey, it was happening in a dream world and maybe fires aren’t such an immediate problem when you’re traveling through dreams.
One of the best puzzlers in the App Store!
This is a thoroughly intriguing and entertaining game, which I classify as a puzzle-like escape adventure. It comprises a perfect blend of exploring distinct, mysterious environments; decoding clues to solve enigmatic puzzles; and working out a wide variety of mini-games that increase in complexity as one progresses. The storyline was devoid of depth, but I became so lost within the gameplay that I did not notice. I am very grateful for the generous playtime considering that the entire game can be played for free if one can refrain from purchasing any hints. Free hints accumulate, though, as players advance through the game; I didn’t need to use any hints, and I ended the game with over a dozen available hints. Ads infrequently materialize, thankfully. Even though I was often reminded to rate the game, it didn’t hinder the fluidity of progression. If I can gripe about something, I suggest you replace the puzzles’ pictorial hints with textual hints to avoid confusion as to how the puzzles are solved. I figured them all out, but several had me scratching my head at first. This game provided me with a high level of satisfaction. I’ll be checking out this developer’s other games.
Excellent!
I’ve really enjoyed this game so far. The puzzles are complex and engaging, there are multiple layers to it, it’s not difficult to navigate. I like that it lets you know, when necessary, what items are missing so it’s not too difficult to figure out and you’re not left with crappy hints that mean nothing, it’s not too difficult to acquire more hints or to skip too tedious puzzles, all in all I have been very happy! Very well done
This is a good one
The puzzles make sense. So many escape games have puzzles that are a real stretch and so obscure no normal person can figure them out. It’s a bit too easy for me. If there’s a hint somewhere, it tells you it’s a hint. That could be eliminated and the game would still be enjoyable. As long as you’re examining everything, you’ll realize where the hints are.
Fun game
I enjoy playing this one. Some things are easy and some are more challenging so it’s a good balance. Some of the puzzles are annoying so I pass them. Some I can’t figure out but would like to have either more explanation as to how to play it/intended goal or one hint rather than the only option be to pass it.
Great point and click adventure!!
I am always on the lookout for great point and click adventures and this one was great! The storyline was cheesy, but other than that I really enjoyed it. The puzzles ranged in difficulty and the multiple rooms kept you on your toes. I was also pleasantly surprised to see there were so many different “worlds” to enter. 5/5!!
So far I like it
I’ve only played a couple hours, but it’s been just the right balance of challenge and entertainment. Unlike most puzzle games, it doesn’t fall i t either ditch of being ridiculously hard or ridiculously easy. And the ads don’t drag on and on like a lot of the free games do.
Cute
I really love this game. The only complaint that I have is that with so many rooms that I have to go back and forth to it gets kinda confusing. If not for the map I would be totally lost. Oh and I wish it would show how to play some of the puzzles because I couldn’t figure out how to move the pieces in a couple of them and instead of using one hint to get a clue I have to skip the whole puzzle with three of them. I’d rather try to solve it myself. But they are really cool games.
Engaging
This escape puzzle keeps you attention and evolves as you go through. Utilizing several rooms at a time to solve puzzles adds an element of challenge. A few puzzles are tricky to solve because it is unclear what to do. The ? Doesnt always give a clear idea of the expected outcome. I am enjoying the game and would recommend it if you need a distraction that uses your brain!
Good, Not Great
I originally gave this game 4 Stars but amended to 3. This Escape Room version is much better than their first one, 50 Rooms. This game they supply more hints by telling you that you need “something” to solve a certain puzzle. And they show you a picture of what is needed. The game is pretty long and not boring. Two negatives (and they did this with 50 Rooms) is when playing a puzzle game you are not sure what to do. There is a question mark at the top that is supposed to explain how to play that puzzle. Sometimes, the explanation is still not clear and you have no idea what has to be done. One of the last puzzles is to arrange “fan” tiles in a specific order. Their is a hint in the order but you have to randomly click on tiles for that order. Problem is that when you click on ONE tile, multiple tiles change. You could spend hours wasting time just clicking around. Very stupid and non necessary puzzle and why I changed to 3 stars.
Ipad review
I don’t like not having an option to skip a puzzle. I’m usually good with puzzles, but certain ones, I simply cannot do. Graphics could use a crisper appearance. Not easy to figure out what to click on. Objects, once found, have no description. I guess that’s fine if you can’t read. I played until I got to the puzzle I can’t do. Help was not helpful to me—I know what needed to be done, but after 20 minutes, gave up. I write “Ipad review” so others know I’m playing on a 10 inch screen. Three stars for not having ads pop up! ✅
Good game but instructions for puzzles are lacking
I enjoy this type of game but I find it very frustrating that the instructions for the mini games are simple pictures which often leave me clueless as to what I’m supposed to achieve. Simple instructions such as, “Move all the pieces into the matching spaces,” or “Connect all the pipes,” would be much more helpful. I find myself wasting hints on puzzle solutions when all I need are better instructions.
Stop harassing players for a rating
I love these puzzle games although the puzzles tend to get frustratingly hard I still like the games. However, I find it unbearably annoying to keep getting harassed with a “please rate us” pop up every single time I go into another room. I rate the apps when I feel I have played long enough to be able to give a rating. I hate being pestered to rate something when I’m not ready to rate it yet and clicking cancel doesn’t help as the pop up will just pop right back up at the next room. So annoying and because of this I rated it a 2 star instead because it annoyed me to the max to be constantly asked for a rating.
Goes from fun to frustrating
I loved this game for the first few levels. The puzzles were tricky but fun, and the hints and map made for easy navigation and solving. HOWEVER, the puzzles get increasingly challenging, to the point of just giving up. I can only spin until colors align so many times before I just don’t care. After hours of game play (which I appreciate) I deleted the app before completing the game. It felt like bait-and-switch, where the point becomes having to buy hints to bypass impossible puzzles. Disappointing.
