    one of the best

Love the various games and dimensions. Love that the story continues but there are milestones met along the way. Couple of the games are set against you. Can only get so many hints before it wants you to pay for them. The game with the Minotaur is set for you to lose every time. The rules are inconsistent. 3 tips to pass but I only have two. Can attempt to spin a wheel for tips versus ads. Ads win. Other option is to buy tips. I think I'm near the end, though, and don't want unused tips. Bit frustrating to know the end is near so they have me on the hook to BB uh or not finish.

    Great game!

Challenging but not frustrating! I can’t put it down. Love it, more please! Only problem I had was with the last game at the end, it’s an absolute nightmare. It’s also played somewhere else in the game but it’s pretty infuriating. There seems to be no strategy and makes no sense. Every time I’d get the slightest advantage the opponent would lock all available blocks. I could be missing something but there wasn’t an explanation on how to play. Still a phenomenal game and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

    Love this game!

I love these escape games. This is an especially good one, I thought so the first time I played it...by a different game company, Haiku. Since it’s the exact same game, I assume you’re the same corporation? Anyway, they’re addicting and this one is better than the others by this particular company. The mini-games are difficult but fun. My only complaint is the hints button taking up the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, making it super easy to accidentally press it. Since your hints aren’t helpful unless trying to skip a puzzle (I mean, really, circling the “back” button is not useful) it is frustrating to lose few hints we get because of fat fingers. Other than that, addicting!

    Only issue

Super fun and creative game. The only thing I don’t like is sometimes when I select an item that goes Into the menu selection I have no idea what it is and there’s nothing that tells you when you click on it. There has been a few times where I have had items in my menu and I have no idea where to start looking to put them because I can’t make out what they are. In similar games when you click on your item it tells you what it is which is very helpful so I would like to see that implemented in this game but other than that I’m loving it!

What is the point of the green lady and witch

I really love the games by this developer but what is the point of the puzzle with the green lady and witch? There are 2 puzzles like this that make absolutely no sense. They are impossible to play and then for some reason the pieces get locked up. There is no explanation how to play this. It seems you randomly try to match the green pieces but the green bar never goes all the way over. The only way to move forward is to use your hints if you happen to have them. I would give this game a 5 but subtracted a star for these 2 useless puzzles.

    Forced review

I basically had to leave a review in order for the game to stop displaying please rate this game messages every two minutes. The concept of this game is very good. The graphics are good. Definitely need some improvement. I don't understand why this type of game can't have better quality like the other video games. I don't know anything about any of this but that's my opinion because you asked for it. Truly though you pretty much begged for it

    Pretty good

I think this is the best game of this type by this company. It actually has a story, the art is varied and compelling, and some of the games are pretty decent. I think a couple of them are mathematically very highly improbable to win (the demon matching games), but it still just takes three hints to skip them when you give up. Good use of ads to get hints, though it does not work when you spin the wheel.

    Third Review

Believe it or not this is the third time I’ve re-written my review. But this will be the last time. I started out not liking the game since you have puzzles that tell you to “play this game” but you do NOT know what they want you to do. But I stayed with it or had to watch a cheat video to get past it. But the more I played the more I was enjoying it. Turned out to be lots of fun puzzles. A couple of them were almost impossible and had to skip them. And it’s a long game which is good. But near the end of the game you have to play a type of bejeweled style game that pits you up against good and evil. You could literally spend hours trying to beat this only to either loose or get “locked” out. There is no strategy for this puzzle as it is all dumb luck. To ME, this ruined the game. When a game forces you to quit at the end of the game, this TO ME is poor designing.

    🤔I love these games ...BUT....

I was eagerly anticipating Shenzhens next game - as always - because he’s the ONLY developer who’s figured out the winning formula: making an adventure game filled with continuous puzzles, mini games and hidden objects in order to escape to the next level. But rather than most escape games locked down from just one room to the next, you’re able to explore many different areas at a time, each filled with several various puzzles/mini games, many unique and interesting. And unlike the now very boring concept of almost all hidden object games, (since there’s not ONE that actually contains any items that are remotely hidden) where you’re running errands back and forth simply to unlock one object after another But in this game, the majority of Puzzles Range from Simple to Obscure to Maddeningly Complicated....🤯 either too easy or so overly complex (it’s not challenging it becomes work) that the fun factor is missed. There’s also TWO versions of the game - and the one featured in the walkthroughs is NOT the U.S. Apple App Store Version. Although the basic layout and flow is the same, the other version actually contains hidden object games and other more interesting puzzles/mini games that I’d rather play. I still can’t wait to see what’s next - and hope the roll some out soon.

Its good! But it can be infuriating.

Okay- the game as a whole was enjoyable. A nice lengthy game to play in your free time. But dang is it infuriating at times. •A “rate this game” notification pops up ALMOST EVERY 3 MINUTES, that alone made me want to delete the game. •The puzzles- most of them are very enjoyable and fun to solve, but some, like the last game, are just hell. Thankfully we are given hints so we can skip them, but i have to stand around to get the ads so i can collect the 3 hints needed. •The puzzles give you no instructions, for many of the puzzles I’d have to click and hold and drag all around the screen so i could figure out what moves and what doesn’t, after that, i have to figure out what even is the point of the puzzle- and it can be very infuriating at times. •The game has some spelling mistakes, like missing s’ and missing some articles. Not really important, just wanted to point it out. I really like the different sceneries of this game, and i enjoyed playing it for hours, although i had to just stop sometimes because it got me frustrated. I think the puzzles are good with some exceptions. This game is really good, and with some fixes, it could be even better! It was a good game!

    Better clues and instructions

I enjoy the puzzles and I appreciate the difficulty of the puzzles. However some of the clues given are really useless. And then when some Puzzle boxes need certain orders to work- I do not like how I just have found the clue first to in order to unlock. For example, I saw the heads as they were and went to put it in the puzzle box but it would not open until I clicked on the head pieces and saw the close hand. And it is unfair to waste a clue on a hint that just takes me out of the room especially since you have to go back and forth between three rooms at a time.

    Good game, BAD puzzles

The game is really fun except for some of the puzzles. Some of them seem impossible, and I would not be surprised if they are stacked against you. Frankly, some are more pure luck and not a puzzle at all. This is especially true with the werewolf and end “puzzles”. You gain points, but there are much more points that go to the opponent, and the opponent locks certain blocks until it is literally impossible to keep playing. The worst part is this is a fun game, but it is such wasted potential when it has these rigged games or impossible puzzles (some are actual puzzles that are just extremely difficult, but some people like that challenge, so that’s more of a side note). Not to mention how difficult it is to get more than 2 free hints per day. Don’t get me wrong: it shouldn’t be easy, and the game has to make money somehow. I just think that 2 hints per day (and the clearly rigged ad wheel) is a bit too conservative, especially with some of the puzzles. Another minor issue is some of the items aren’t labeled, which makes it difficult to figure out what to do with them. I thought a glue stick was a battery for far too long haha. But again, it’s a minor issue that doesn’t affect the game’s quality too much.

The werewolf “puzzle” is a nightmare

Literally, and not because it’s scary. I was thoroughly enjoying the game so much, up until I found myself faced with a candycrush-esque obstacle that is virtually impossible to win. The objective is to “beat” the werewolf by making his red life line turn green. Which you do by matching almost nonexistent green tiles to rack up points. But, be careful not to match any of the abundant red tiles or you will lose points. Something which is more than easy to do. It doesn’t matter if I rack up 150 points (that doesn’t even fill half the lifeline) the red tiles will promptly self match and knock out my points ten fold, setting my back to zero. Oh, and as if that’s not enough. When the red tiles make matches, it powers up the wolf, who releases chains onto the board locking up tiles until you make a match beside them. And if there are too many chains blocking you from making any matches, you have to start all over. I’m beyond frustrated at this point. A game that I was previously delighted to give 5 stars, has sadly bumped down to.

    Makes no sense...

Some of the puzzles make no sense and there is no way to find out how to do the puzzle or what the end objective is. I love escape games and am really good at them and so are my friends but we all have had problems trying to figure out what to do on some of the puzzles. It’s so frustrating you just want to quit. Then it takes 3 hints if you want to pass a puzzle if you get stuck for hours and can’t pass it. Getting hints is ridiculous. You spin the wheel and then if it lands in ad you watch the ad and still don’t get a hint. You only get it if you land in the free hint which seems to never happen. I understand having to watch the ads that’s not my problem. The problem is you still don’t get a hint after watching them. Then you have to wait so long before you can spin again and if you land in ad again it starts all over again. Very frustrating. I’d rather pay for the game and be able to get hints by doing things like most games. I def don’t recommend this one because it’s so frustrating and instead of having a good time you will get frustrated and want to throw your device out the window after watching 20 ads trying to get one hint.
