If you ever wanted to try an escape game this is a good one to start. Their are a few puzzles that are hard and I have to admit I had to use hints to by bypass a couple. But it gives you plenty of ads if you choose to watch to get hints. The ads are normally 30 seconds. I would of like that when you bypass a puzzle that it would show how it was achieved but it isn’t a show stopper. Try this one and you will be pleased

This game has everything you could imagine in an escape game. All levels of difficulty keeps you on your toes but you don't get super frustrated. I am an escape room junkie and this is hands down one of the best i have played and its free. Don't forget this game takes hours to play also which is a plus instead of being over in ten minutes like others i have tried.

These are by far some of the best free escape games out there. They’re really long, unlike A lot of games out there, so a lot of game for free! The biggest problem with this game which is not true of all the games by this maker, is that they put the map right next to the hints So it is really easy to accidentally use a hand when are you were trying to do is look at the map.

They really should wait a bit till people get hooked before asking for ratings. I played the castle of horror and it was a fantastic experience. I loved the connections between many many rooms and the amount of puzzles and problem-solving challenges they could come up with. Hope this one is just as impressive.

I like this game! It’s pretty good! I’ve had it for a day now, and it’s challenging, but not so challenging that you’d want to throw your device across the room. There’s one bug I’d like for you to fix though. After a few hours of playing, it wouldn’t let me press anything in the shop, including the door to the next room. But apart from that, it’s a pretty good game!

I've only done a a few of these "full length" type room escapes, but this one was by far the best. It was challenging enough that I wasn't bored, but also I didn't have to use any hints. The hints provided by default throughout the game were just enough to keep me from running around in frustration clicking everything. Excellent work!

Some puzzles a 3 year old could do and some puzzles it takes me an hour to complete. I’ve been doing these types of puzzles for about 30 years and I’m no stranger to them - and they are hard! It’s odd to go from very child like to extremely advanced. Other than that, the game is very, very fun and challenging. A lot of creativity went into creating some of these puzzles!

Haunted hotel was enjoyable to play. I had some trouble recognizing what exactly I uncovered (is it a screwdriver, pen or lighter?) and therefore just tapped around till it worked on something or used a clue. Was able to play the game to the end, no extra charge. An ad every time started up game. Could click out after 5 seconds.

I just started playing this game, and it's okay so far. There is absolutely no tutorial, no diary or anything like that to kind of give you an idea of where you've been. This was particularly frustrating because a full page ad opened the second I hit "start game", and I missed whatever conversation or explanation was taking place in the game behind it. The only reason I know it was going on behind the ad was because when I could finally close the ad, there was about 5 seconds of a "you must find the gem" conversation because the person disappeared, and I was left on the street. I just started touching the screen and hoped I'd figure it out. I've done okay so far, I think. I've been a little slow a couple of times at figuring out what the game wanted me to do, but eventually I got it. I don't give games 5 stars until I've finished, and then only if I really liked it. But it's been okay so far, so 3 stars is where I'm putting it right now.

The game itself is pretty intuitive, the puzzles aren’t super difficult compared to similar games, which is part of the reason I didn’t give a full five stars. If you like just enough of a challenge to keep your brain working, but not so much that you get frustrated and quit, this is probably for you. It’s like virtual hide-and-seek. No issues with picking up or using items, not glitchy, freezy, or slow to load. I don’t think I’m that far into the game, but the only thing I’ve truly found unlikeable or irksome so far is the fact the game keeps asking me to give it a rating. I get it: ratings are sort of like tips - and to be fair, I probably wouldn’t have given any feedback if it weren’t so persistent - but does the pop up window have to appear every time I change rooms or scenes in the game? If you don’t mind giving reviews then assume this is 4/5 stars.

Since the game kept asking me to review it even though it was so early in the game that only a few things had been done and it kept popping up like a energetic puppy looking like it wants treats cuz it was a good boy Well nope so far it's okay but if it didn't just say "I need it" at places like do you need something here at the spot or do you need something that you might have or have yet to find The tap/drag lag is bad and sometimes when you tap on something you don't get it but you know something should happen but it's not doing anything just makes that sound that lets you know you need it The story seems like it's good but I can't know for sure since I haven't got that far into it do to the annoying review me popup will edit review later if there's anything else to note Edit: some good puzzles some you can't figure out for some time till you actually find that one thing that you would never know was there it was shorter than I expected it would have been and someone had stolen the gem but nobody had it seems like it was just a way to end the game faster Also what was the screwdriver for? I never used it

I really like most the games from this developer, as they are pretty fun, with the exceptions of a few things. A) the lighting is too dark on some scenes making it difficult to see what your supposed to do, b) there are multiple puzzles that it isn’t clear what it’s asking for, thus making it a necessity to use hints, which unfortunately the game makes you buy them because they never pop up when you really need them for the puzzles in question. Fix those things and 5 stars it would be from me!!

I’ve played hundreds of room escape games and I would say that this is one that is neither too easy or too hard. I like that this has some challenge to it but it isn’t devious in its complexity nor arbitrary in its puzzles. While I would classify in the same category as “The Room”, it’s still a delightful game to play. (Update) I am downgrading my score because — despite already giving a review last time I played — it harasses me every 5 minutes to do it again! 🤬

Is there any way to skip a puzzle? I have maneuvered through the first four rooms successfully with one exception. I just cannot solve the "room key" puzzle, and until I do, I can't seem to move out of these rooms in the hotel. I've tried for 3 days now and don't know why I can't do this, but I can't. The walkthrough didn't help. So unless there is some way to bypass the puzzle, I will have to delete this game. Very frustrating.
