Fantastic Thrill
This is an incredibly interesting, unique, and well-designed game. I’ve been playing “Murder in the Alps” and was sad not to find another game similar — then I stumbled across this one. This gives me the same thrill of problem solving and looking for clues, and it’s gorgeous fairytale style doors create a beautiful atmosphere to boot. Update: if I were to inquire about anything, it would just be wondering if we could get more backstory on the creepy child we’re following? Love the game level by level, but not sure what I’m doing/a part of overall.
Well-made and satisfying puzzles
There is something about the way the objects move, turn and open up that is just very satisfying to play with. I’m happy with my purchase-I knew how many levels I was buying ahead of time because they let you preview all of them ahead of time. I feel like I got my money’s worth because I already want to replay all the levels.
Entertained
It’s a beautiful game and I enjoy it a lot . It puts me in a calming mood. The only advice nI would give is to make each level different meaning not to use the similar steps in each puzzle. The more difficult each level is the more mind solving viewers will expect especially from a type of game like this. Overall I do highly recommend it and I really love the visual aspect.
Great Practice for Escape Rooms
My girlfriend and I did an escape room last year, and I was embarrassingly bad. What if we were kidnapped by Hannibal Lector and need to think fast? So I bought this game and locked myself in a Joe-Rogan-approved sensory deprivation chamber for 40 days and nights. Now it’s ME who has multiple prisoners trying to escape from my basement. Thanks Doors Awakening:) 5/5, graphics aren’t bad either
Love it
I really love the graphics of this game..& the 3D effect...makes me feel like I’m playing in a quiet little garden all to myself & I love the peacefulness of this game I haven’t made it too far yet but so far I like that it hasn’t been too hard to figure out yet & it doesn’t make me give up too soon ...awesome job...hope to see more just like this ...
Where’s the beef?
UPDATE 1/1/20: Where are all the paid levels I thought I was buying? I love this game, originally gave it 5 stars, and thought it was one of the best I’ve played, but had to lower my rating a little after paying for more levels. I discovered it was just a few more levels and played most of them in about 30 minutes. Then, when I returned to play the rest, I couldn’t figure out which ones had already been completed and had to open each level to see if it looked familiar. Maybe they mark the levels that you already played, but I couldn’t find an indicator. I still think it’s an excellent game, but the paid levels really need to be longer. ORIGINAL 5-STAR RATING (with revisions): I almost never give 5-star ratings. This game joins the ranks of The Room, The Birdcage, Da Vinci, and a few others. Great graphics, creative, original and clever design, music that’s not annoying; it’s challenging, but not so difficult that gameplay slows down and gets boring. (It’s an art form to design a well-paced game that sustains interest.) There is a logical sequence to the gameplay, so if you have good reasoning kills, you don’t need hints. The free levels are enough to pique your interest, leave you wanting more, and they don’t have so many ads that you can’t focus on evaluating the game. Additional levels are appropriately priced. I’m going to pay for more because IT’S A WINNER!
What?
I really enjoy this game and I RARELY buy the games. This one looked like it was going to include many more levels and that’s not the case. Total of 18 rooms. 4 main levels with 4 rooms each and 2 epilogues that are single rooms. Not exactly what I was expecting. I’ve played it several times over thinking maybe a hidden gem in the notes but nope. This would be a solid 5 star game if there were 4 more levels with at least four rooms in each. As it is if they had advertised what exactly you were getting I’d probably still bought it but with lower expectations. Some of the rooms are quite fun and challenging! Please ad more rooms for those of us that bought the game. Also please remove the ads for those of us that paid for this!!!
What happened to my infinite hints?
I purchased all the levels. I’m stuck on a puzzle. Hints not working. No way to write to ask what happened. And I have had to restart the level again and again if I go back to the menu to restore purchase. I can’t even earn a hint by watching an ad. Very frustrating. I’m playing on iPad Pro 12.9 That said, I do love the game, that’s why I bought it. But the hints should play for the puzzle I’m playing and infinite hints should mean I am not limited. I have almost all of your games 🙌🏻 and love them but this is the first of your games to give me trouble if I need a hint.
Very Good
First, this is a good, easy relaxing puzzle game like The Birdcage(s). It is great for kids and adults trying puzzle games for the first time before going on to tougher ones like, The Room games, DaVinci, Eyes of Ara, etc. And even though I have played those games and have some sanity left, this game is nice, enjoyable and easy on the brain...until the levels near the end. Then a little more difficult. My only complaint is the price is high for such a short game, especially when the games mentioned above play a LOT longer for the same price. Also, when you pay you should get unlimited hints.
Issue with purchased items not working!
I just bought the $4.99 “Remove all Ads/Infinite Hints/All levels unlocked” and when I went back to the puzzle (Lvl 8) and tried to use a Hint, it still says I have 3 available hints to use (in green), but the button to “use a hint” is greyed out and it has a “-1” in red on it, as if I have no hints to use. What gives?! 4 stars for that, because the game itself is beautiful, fun to figure out, and well thought-out. I want to give it 5 stars; I will update review after a response from the developers.
Excellent- more please
This game is excellent. The puzzles are short enough to solve each in a little while, so that you are not spending hours on one chapter, but challenging enough to make them enjoyable. The graphics and themes are beautiful and so well designed. The puzzles are unique - not exactly the same types that I’ve seen in so many other games of this nature. A few more levels for the money and it would have been awarded 5 stars. One of the best and most beautiful puzzle games out there! Great job. More levels please.!
Not a Big Bang for the buck.
So you get 8 levels for free and if you want to play more it is $3.99. But you only get 8 more levels and 2 epilogues. That sounds like a lot but they are short levels, just like the first 8 and somewhat easy to solve. Went through the whole thing in one day. Not challenging like the Room apps which can take days to figure out. Not sure I would say it is worth the $. Once you have completed it you won’t forget how to maneuver the levels so playing again isn’t in the cards too soon.
Love this style game but … doesn’t save …
I really like the style game and graphics are nice. My only issue is it doesn’t save progress on the level I’m on. If I have to get out to doing something before I can complete that level then it have to go back and rework everything I’ve already done. That’s very frustrating. I got to the last step of several levels and have to take a call and had to go back through everything. 👎🏻
That’s it???
If this was a review about graphics, and the game itself... I would give it a 5-star! But alas... I feel CHEATED! That’s why the 2-star! I seriously thought there would be more levels than just 22 levels, and from the dates of other reviewers... it looks like updates for more levels aren’t that often, and with not many new levels. I really feel tricked and cheated. I’m so disappointed, I feel like screaming... I want my money back! Had I known there were only 22 levels ONLY, I would’ve never spent the money!
