Of COURSE it’s “not good” if you hate idle games

I have dabbled in idle games to play while multitasking for such a long time. With that being said, this is probably the best idle game I have ever played. The special operations events are exciting and I have completed all of the levels several times. My numb mind continues to be entertained. Some negative reviews complain about ads and pointless gameplay, but that is the very aspect of the game that I enjoy. I don’t mind to watch ads. I take pride in watching 10 in a row to double my money in the game. Most of the poor reviews are baseless claims that critique idle games themselves; however, if you are an idle game connoisseur like I am, this is a clear standout from the rest.

    Favorite game

Such a good game. The only thing I’d like to see is a way to restart the game without having to create a new account or uninstall and reinstall every time. I don’t know why I like starting games over but I do, and this game is no different. I am so obsessed with this game tho, it’s literally my favorite game, the graphics are great, the storyline is fabulous, and the events are soooo much fun. Keep it up y’all! Update: all the new updates on the game are amazing. Especially the new Brett rewards. The characters and dialog are EXACTLY like in the show. It’s all around great and just keeps getting better. 👍🏻

Then I guess just pout lol

I love the series, and I think it’s safe to say that I love this game. I’ve been watching Archer for a long time, and I seem to see everybody there while playing it. If you’re a fan as much as I am, you’d love it to death. Of course, the waiting game is to be expected during it, but it’s worth the wait, and worth the download. Not to mention, a bunch of show references are to be expected in the future, including hopefully the next season of Archer coming up. In the words of Archer, it’s awesome!

    Love it

I’m writing this review mostly because of the clever way the game integrates their request that I do so. But I am enjoying the game for real. As another reviewer said, if your a fan, you’ll “hear” the actors saying those lines. The writers nailed the voice (voice here referring to a quality of writing, not actual voice acting). I like that they use Krieger’s real voice (samples from the show) and would like to see them do the same with the other actors. Probably costs a fortune but would be worth it.

    Addictive

Great Archer context for the game and the game itself is very addictive! Only one complaint...I want more Archer dialogue I can hear while they talk instead of just read it. But it is meant to be a shameless money sucking of a hustle of a game just like Archer team would do themselves...I did spend on money on it to my great shame. Probably only getting twenty dollars out of me guys...that is it! I mean I don’t care how cute Pam is going to look in an Arctic get up! But that was for a special event...the regular game you can pick it up as you please and spare yourself the cost. Great time killer and very entertaining. The shooting mini game is a bit too simple but this is not meant to be anything more than a money maker for the developer and publisher.

    Decent but time consuming

It took me a little while to understand what each card/item did and get the hang of the general game play. It wasn’t until one of the multi-day events that I really figured things out. The main game is quick and straightforward, but the mini-events take much more time because the upper level rooms can be hard to automate. It’s almost impossible to get any kind of rank above 100 on events without spending real money (I don’t, but it’s obvious someone does, which is fine because someone has to). In the end, the game is lot of pushing buttons to gather funds in non-automated rooms and watching ads to double funds and get items to spend.

    Potential is there...

I understand that this is a cryptocurrency game but as a fan of the Archer series, I think I would prefer this to have more mechanics similar to that of Fallout Shelter by Bethesda. This game has the potential to be a mobile hit on the AppStore but There is a lot of really pointless tasks to generate more rewards when there should be a REASON for why these rooms have a purpose not just generating random amounts of money. In Fallout Shelter the rooms told you exactly what their intent is for and you can even assign dwellers to learn skills and have a purpose. This would be really cool here because ever agent in Archer game can be versatile and have a different set of skill sets, how about send agents to Dr. Krieger’s lab to learn how to make mes kits for when you send the ISIS field agents on an event/mission or how funny would it be if Pam’s room specifically to train the isis agents hand to hand combat. Assign new agents in Malory’s office. There’s honestly nothing really wrong with the game I just really wished there was more going on, more to do! Overall, I find the grinding in this game fairly addicting to a certain point. Just like most money generating strategy games, you WILL run into a plateau at some point in the game requiring you to make a purchase HOWEVER, you can continue to generate money hence allowing you to earn rewards without even having the app open so it is nice to get some decent rewards in turn for some patience.

    3.5 out of 5 potential for 5/5

First off the animations and cutscenes are great. They capture the characters well. I get it's an idle game heavily focused on micro transactions but this one goes too far. Events are literally impossible without spending money. Plus, to get the rare cards you have to finish in the top 2 spots. Rank rewards for events seem incredibly low as well. Every other idle game I never felt like I had to spend money. With this one you can login once or twice an hour and be done in a minute or two after watching some adds. Progress is way too slow. It's nice that we earn coins but you can't use the coins to buy a specific card. For example if you have 4/5 Pam cards you're stuck til RNG gives you the card. Other games you can use some of your coins (currency) to buy that last card and build your upgrade. It's not all bad though. Adding the individual increases to agents gives a new level to upgrading I hadn't previously seen. I hope they can make some balance changes and this is a 5 star game.

Great game, can use some work

It’s a great game, I love the dialogue and mini episodes. I’m giving it lower stars because even tho they “adjusted” the rewards setting, its still the same. It’s also nearly impossible to get alternates for the characters. It’s fun, don’t get me wrong, but sometimes it takes forever to get to the next level, even playing the second or third time around. It’s also hard to get the level up materials necessary, so once it took me four days to advance because I had to collect so many of these cocktails to level up all these different things. I know that’s the point of these idle games, but that can get annoying. The little mini adventures they make based on archer episodes are fun. Those are how you get alternates, but you have to get first or second place sometimes out of a 100+ people, and thats impossible. All in all a great game for archer fans and the best idle game I’ve seen, but the rewards and goal system can use some work.

Character dialogue is good but game is meh

The game itself is rather repetitive and boring. It’s the same thing over and over again. The mini episodes in between the levels are funny and if you are a fan of the show, are worth reading through. The biggest issue I have with the game is that I only see the same two stupid ads and when you don’t want to pay for stuff, you have to watch a ton of ads. I only ever see State of Survival and Prison Tycoon ads and it becomes REALLY annoying after the hundredth time seeing the same 30 second clip. Also, I get push notifications about every few hours to finish the tutorial to open up more gameplay but I can’t find any tutorial to finish. I’m a bunch of levels in and I don’t remember there being any tutorial. Could this be a glitch? Anyway, long story short, this probably won’t be a game I play for more than a couple weeks.

The writing is great, the ads are too long and they block certain cards during the “Sale”

Writing is classic Archer, it's made me laugh. The ads are usually at least thirty seconds long, irrelevant, and repetitive. The 2 star rating is because the game will block you from being able to receive key cards for necessary upgrades when you unlock a new area in the timed missions. It block those cards until you either unlock the new area, which is nearly impossible without the cards that are blocked, or the 24 hour "sale" timer ends, and most of the times missions are shorter than 24 hours. That makes it extremely difficult for non p2w players to compete in those times missions, which are indeed competitive and earn the in game currency. Also, only when you have a case that requires trades in the main game, you will only see trades that take your most valuable and least available cards in exchange for cards or currency of far less value than holding on to them so progression through the good parts, the storylines, is hindered greatly. Finally, everything is seriously overpriced. Don’t buy anything , your money is better spent of helping the many starving people in the world as buying something will only get you about 10% towards your in-game goals and that money could have bought someone in need a meal at a decent restaurant.

    Enjoyed till...

I was enjoying this game, like lost archer episodes I had not seen. I enjoyed so much I was happy to pay for some of the extra side games and was typically getting all the bonus stuff offered. Then two weekends in a row I was playing the 4 day events and realized even paying for every extra offer (about $50) I was no where close to being able to collect everything available in the event. I looked at leaderboard and saw it was not only me, no one got close to being able to collect all available in these events. In my estimation it would have cost about $200 more dollars to get the rest of the available bonus material available. Sadly all of this upset me and I realized even with money spent I still was subject to commercials. (The commercials is me whining, I typically pay for commercial free if I’m enjoying a game, not an option in this game) I brought this issue up with developer, who did their best to assist. I brought up with Apple and they were a joke in their assistance. In the end I won’t be playing anymore and strongly recommend if you play, play it free. The events are rigged and not worth your time or money.

An app to watch the same commercials over and over

I’m surprised at this game’s overall rating. The dialogue is mostly inline with what you’d get watching a tv episode of archer so that’s cool, but so are the commercials. If you want to finish missions and hit all objectives in a reasonable period of time, plan on logging in every 15 minutes to watch a commercial. Also, the game is buggy. Just finished a side mission where the game didn’t make available a necessary character card to automate one of the mining areas. Finished ranked much lower than I would have been. So yeah, super frustrating that this game doesn’t have its act together. Not worth getting into. Also, makes you appreciate the voice acting of the cast, since it’s missing in this game.

Not too great not too terrible- Phrasing

25 Dec 2020 Micro transactions every minute of the game. Keeps crashing when you go to collect stuff and it boots you out of the whole game. Maxed out the storyboard in a month. The Kriegerbots get old. What about Ft Kickass, Archers Apt., Malorey’s Apt, Kriegers van to name a few? 28 Dec 2020 I stand corrected it can get worse. Now for the events they most likely want you to spend cash to get to the last two areas. Regular events I was completing in a day especially since I am just going through again. Seems like they are trying more of a cash grab cause they know people are going to DUMP this game soon. Looks like Eastside games is buying up famous TV shows to make cash on. If I were these producers or creators “TPB” I would cut them loose.
