Thank you!
Great game I have played through my day. I can step away and still enjoy as a big fan of the show. It’s awesome on the references to the show and reminds you of certain episodes you want to watch again. I love the weekend and midweek event. Keeps me engaged as I have leveled to high to my regular cards and the regular story line can be sped through. I want to just say thank you for the recent little extra gift of currency and cards. These are crazy and hard times and as a long time player, it’s good to have a small mobile game to distract you a bit about the circumstances we as a country and world are facing. So thank you!
Some Suggestions
Played for 2 months now, only iPhone game I play. Huge fan of the show, love that there’s a game. Keep the events going! More!! I’m sure an update is right around the corner, but I’m getting bored with the current offerings. Please introduce the unavailable cards soon!! The Dee Crystal system could use some sprucing up, it’s just kind of boring honestly... not useful enough to bother with unless I’m that bored on my phone. PUT THE BEER BACK IN THE BARRELS. 4-hour barrels are really useless now. Some epic/rare cards are easy to find, others are impossible. This should be according to rarity, but goes card by card.
I love this game too much
I'm am extremely glad this game exists. It's a little confusing at first and that's maybe because I don't play a lot of these kinds if games, but it's really well done. I don't know how much the actual cast had to do with the making of the game but whoever did definitely did their research. The game is full of humor and references, as well as a compelling story, but most of all I can finally invest all my savings in Kitten Mittens.
This game needs a few improvements
I think I’ve been playing this game for over a year now. With this amount of time I’ve spent in the game, I have several cards maxed out in level. I have to keep selling the maxed out cards that are givin out every episode. The process of selling 600 cards of paddy’s Charlie takes forever. If there was a way I could just instantly sell all the cards at once that would be awesome. Another thing is the cards for the special events. When I get an epic card from a special event I only get a few of the cards, and never earn them again. This kinda makes the events worthless of getting a new card cause you can’t upgrade it. If there was a way you could purchase the cards you have earned with beer, I could upgrade these cards. Then the special events would be whole lot worth playing. These are just some tips too make the game better. Overall I love this game, and I keep grinding to upgrade all my cards.
Came back to the game I loved
Would love to give 5 stars, but as a returning player this game has handicapped me. Amazing idle game with even better limited time events. I honestly love the game so much. My phone died after getting to around level 130, and since I’ve come back there are new schemes (nameLy Techpocalypse) that I have gotten zero cards for, never seen them offered for sale, yet every other level has it as a scheme. Makes me feel like I’ve wasted a bunch of time and money when I cannot even participate in some of the levels I’m on. Really bad to come back weaker than I left. Please allow old returning players an option to play with the new schemes who are already past whatever earlier level you included the new cards in. I will happily change my rating to a 5, I really hope this was just overlooked and something you can remedy.
Game is Great ! Could use one or two tweaks
So far im addicted to this game, the special events have me checking my phone trying to get to top milestones and its fun as hell making my journey there. The only thing Ive noticed is as you progress there simply is not enough time to get mixtapes/gum from the barrels since card upgrades cost much much more down the line therefore the only solution is spending real money... I get it there needs to be a way to bring in cashflow to keep the lights on in the game but that should be an option and not an obstacle for the loyal fans/gamers. Hopefully the Dee crystals will fix this or ADDING more mixtapes in the barrels as you progress through the event. Thats the only issue besides that the game is great and cant wait for new episodes to be added. Great work Devs !
Love but...updated from 1/12
Updating - customer service on the app was 10/10 thank you. Please consider either raising the common cards max or making it easier to earn the rare/epic new cards. It’s hard to hit goals on the regular episodes. I love this game - but I’ve maxed out almost every character and schemes and with many tasks asking for card upgrades and no way to upgrade the new cards I’ve earned I’m not sure how much longer I will keep returning. I can’t fulfill these tasks to complete an episode. I’m a daily player who hasn’t missed a day since I downloaded almost a year ago and this is the only game app I allow during my screen time downtime so I hope this gets fixed.
Still having some troubles with the card drop rates
The show references are great and I look forward to new content being added... the show certainly gives a lot of draw from. I like that events are frequent and some are rather fun however some don’t seem ready for play. This most recent one was a good example. Most schemes need certain cards leveled up to a certain level to either open or automate. Many levels will have crates with the necessary cards in them that you can achieve by completing goals... but in events like this most recent one those cards were not given in the same way. The only way to get them is by paying with denim chicken... but the denim chicken drop rate has been nonexistent. I started playing that event within a few minutes of its launch and played frequently... like embarrassingly frequent. But I still couldn’t even complete the sixth mile stone. My husband had the same experience so we don’t think it to be luck of the draw related. I have seen some improvements since I started playing but I really hope these cards will become a little more consistent with active game play. Paying money should really only be to speed things up or if you’re REALLY trying to 100% something.
Not a 5 Star Man Anymore
While I originally believed the game to be 5 stars, I’ve been rethinking my previous rating. The core game is 5 stars-goals are attainable and the episodes do a great job imitating the shows schemes. It truly is a good idle game. However, the events have changed. When the game launched, the event milestones were attainable as well-especially since you have to start from scratch for each event. Now, you can play the event the full four days and barely hit milestone 4 or 5 out of 18. Unless, of course, you pay money... Even then, you’d have to buy all of the “event packs” to even have a chance to make it to milestone 15-18. This change seems like a cash grab. As a long time fan of the show and the gang, this kind of feels like a slap in the face. If they want to correct the events, awesome. If not, then consider this app season 13 Cricket.
yall
just make the game cost like 2.99 from the start and not have it dependent on constantly buying eggs and dollars and beer and such. it's so fun i just wanna be able to continue playing instead of choosing to wait hours and hours or pay for more. i understand the hustle, but there's no way i can afford to repurchase these supplies for every event, every rare card update, etc. hb earning eggs and beer by ad watching. if i can play continuously i'll watch the ads continuously idc , pls. add mini games and puzzles to earn things. add a tap feature to speed things along. i would pay for an upgraded version with secondary gameplay like puzzles and mini games and iasip trivia . i would pay upwards of 3 dollars for those kinds of things and that would be the first time i ever spent money on the game. the things people have to spend real money on shouldn't be so disposable in the game. it should be a genuinely good addition that merits payment. like a real expansion on gameplay. the game is really really good and if you keep responding to the reviews, listening to the crowd, and making changes, it's gonna be even better every update.
It's Always Money In Your Wallet
Always Sunny fans will definitely enjoy the game, as references from the show are present. However, recently the game started to lose its touch. More specifically with ads. I tried watching ads with either getting additional beers/event items or multipliers for money's. And whenever the ad doesn't load, they just give you the items anyway. That's not the problem though, the real problem is when they don't say there is no ads and they give you the item, but then proceeds to play the ads anyway. It's a problem that's been recent and I never had this problem at launch. And especially due to the fact that this game really encourages you to spend money. Even if it's supposed to be the whole point of the game, it still goes overboard with it. Compared that to, say, Adventure Capitalist. While true the game does the same thing by having you pay real money for items, I never did it because the game doesn't force you to buy it to get the event item anyway. What hurts this more is that recently, they included event items in barrels that require crystals. Thankfully you don't need to spend real money on them and you just need to sell cards for them. Like I said, Always Sunny fans will definitely get a kick out of this game if they don't care about spending so much money and just enjoy the show as a mobile game. But for idle money making games, there are better options out there.
Its okay... but brutal to play for long
The story concept is an entertaining take on idle gaming and perfect for an already well established tv series. It was perfect that they emphasized all the various schemes that they've done throughout the years. The graphic design is beautifully done and visually stimulating, as well BUT!!! As with all new games, it has zero flow to the progression, especially the events. The lack of flow makes the game brutal to play. Most of it seems to be how long it takes to automate so it never is collecting the bigger schemes offline. Wish they would have gone with an approach of easy to automate and diminished offline collection percentage. There are a lot of minor things that they could do to improve character leveling and incorporation of more members of the gang in each scheme to fit along better with the shows episodes but those are minor improvements that they could look at and don’t actually kill it like the lack of flow. There is so much that sets it apart from other idle games with lack of story depth but I will uninstall it and try it again in a year from now, after it matures and rerate it if I remember. Best of luck!
Sandbagging at every turn
I’m a big fan of idle clickers. I realize the majority of them are freemium and incentivize you to buy in game currency to progress. When I first started playing this game even though I hit a progression ceiling without having to spend eggs, the game was still enjoyable enough and did a good job of allowing you to grind out eggs to spend that it still held my attention. I was making decent progress in the latest episode until one of the recent updates came out. Apparently free to play users were doing too well because now the price to buy a customer for any scheme is so high, and the earn rate of all my schemes is so long, I haven’t been able to buy a single customer going on four days now, when previously it had taken an hour or two at most to afford multiple. And don’t even get me started on the impossible to reach tiers of the recent events. Every clicker game is a cash grab. This game has evolved into straight up robbery.
Addicting but all in all a cash grab
For some reason this clicker game is kind of addicting. Maybe because I’m a fan of the show but I’ve put in more time than I’d care to admit and have no idea why. I agree with most people, the events are a straight up cash grab and weekend event (if I did my math right) can cost 30+ bucks to get all or close to all tiers. I had written customer service to ask about that and they were extremely kind however said that the first few tiers were for casual players and if players wanted all of the rewards then they could at their own decision spend money to do so. In most or any game I’ve played events are all easily doable for all rewards but you have to put in some major time. With this game though it straight up doesn’t matter if you put in all day everyday, unless you part with your cold hard cash you won’t get a bunch of stuff. Poor rip off design that inevitably drags the game down to the garbage.
