This is an amazing game. I absolutely loved it for its mechanics, especially in terms of clans and battles. I got back on it a few weeks back, and enjoy it immensely despite the obvious decline in the player base. I wish more people played this game; it’s such an amazing rendition of clash of clans/boom beach hybrid that deserves more recognition. Even if the game feels super lonely now, it will always remain in my heart.

I know you guys haven’t made an update since 3 months ago and I like for you guys to bring back survival mode and add a new flame launcher troop or a new defense weapon if you can. Thx! 🙂

I have played Boom Beach with Exp lvl 40 and HQ lvl 15. After playing this Iron Storm for a few days, I have not gone back to Boom Beach. This is a different style of game where you play for a few minutes to attack, make decisions on what defense and troops to build and then go off to do something else while your troops rebuild. However, there are ample diamonds to boost to a decent level without spending real money. This game is more advanced than Boom Beach and more engaging. You can join a clan and battle online players. There is also a fairly extensive single player battle mode where you may explore and open new battle challenges. Because many players do not understand that killing the HQ is the only thing needed to win, I have been able to grow quickly. I am on fortunate to be on iOS 8 and iPhone 6. I have never experienced a crash, but I know others have complained about that. So far, this has captured my interest. It is strategic and fresh. With the great online capability, there is always a different challenge. The battle selection engine so far has been very good with providing fair based to attack. This has advanced features of a v2 game. Well done!

matchup is terrible you could be level 30 and all the bases you find to attack are 100 and up your base gets destroyed by level 100s with out even deploying a single troop and the bases you can attack have 0 resources the attack units are under powered and defenses useless can’t get anywhere in the game

This is a pretty good game when I can get it to work.... I've spent the last 2 weeks trying to load the game and it keeps telling me that there is a new update for the game and to check the App Store. And every time I check the App Store there is no update for the game!!! I had to delete the game and reinstall it just for it to get past the point of downloading new content. And that's after trying for over a month to get it to just download whatever content it had. I was connected to wifi and it still wouldn't download. I'm just a little fed up with it. I enjoy the game and love it when it actually works

The gameplay is fun. The side quests are fun. The upgrading goes smoothly. That being said, everytime I log on I see that I have been attacked at least twice, and lost both times. When I watch the replay used all the player did was unleash a barrage of missiles at my HQ and blew up everything WITHOUT DEPLOYING ANY TROOPS. It seems that the veteran players pray on the lesser, newer players buy upgrading their missiles and then just blowing up their HQ no matter where it is or what defenses you have. Which is frustrating. The game creators need to either decrease the missile power. Or GREATLY increase HQ hitpoints. I play the game to attack with units. Not to steal resources from the newer players.

As of right now offensive units are seriously underpowered. Also there is no real tactics in this game. You cannot give orders to individual units or groups of units. There is no balance where units are specialized against particular type of defense. Once you reach Command lvl 8 no enemy on the same level as you can get you. All you need to do is space your towers so no single special effect can get more than one tower and there is no way to defeat you. The towers are so powerful that even if an enemy can take them one by one they still lose all units - the same aplies to you. I give the game 3 stars because it has potential, as of right now it is pointless.

They used to do holiday specials and stuff they don’t do anything anymore and once u max out the headquarters they start to take things away from u in the game like u don’t get as many stripes anymore it’s kinda lame to work so hard for no payoff at the end of the game

This game is rigged to take your money If I have to buy my way to victory; it's not a victory it is politics. For example I'm at level 45 now. When ever I try to find an opponent to gain some oil and gold, I only get paired up with opponents at level 130 plus even once with a level 212. Also while I am online playing I get attacked by the same who it is obvious by their layout have spent $100 's and I lose all I have gained before I get a chance to do anything with it. Also when I try to play revenge it says you cannot attack someone who is online when at the same time I'm playing I get attack. It seems that this game is set up to only let you advance by paying real cash for the upgrades. If I have to buy my way to victory; it's not a victory it is politics
