    PROBLEM !!

Last night server was down and now today it was even after I did the update.. After the update and the game servers coming back in line I didn’t have everything I had when I left the game my chest is back to one and missing gems and weapons I am also not sure but two of my guys that use the same weapons they are back to the old ones they had before I upgraded them the upgraded weapons are gone the ones I made. That was little while ago and now keeps telling me I need to update the game and there is no update available also I have never gotten any of all the stuff I lost back.

    Swiftyys reviews

I think this game has so much potential if it goes in the right path. I think adding new events, pvp, battle royale and more will help it in the long run. But for now since the game just came out it will be fine! I love this games state but one thing I disliked about it was that I wanna play with friends. That would be huge for this game. Another thing that frustrated me was I saw this game from a YouTuber and he claimed that I would get free stuff so I would like it unless that was false information. So keep up the great work and can’t wait to see how the game expands!!

    Great game but

Let me start by saying this game is a blast! I highly recommend it, but it has its flaws once you’re about a week in. You reach a Plateau where it become hard to upgrade your characters and harder still to get better gear. My hero’s are level 28 and 29 but all the gear in the pvp shop is level 32 to 37 so I can’t buy stuff there. Same with the crates. I only get lvl 30+ from those now and on top of that I can’t complete the 3rd part of the daily missions to get the proto chests because it require 1,000 power more than any of my hero’s have. It’s give me a sense that the developers are trying to get me to spend money to upgrade, which I would totally do if it weren’t for how ludicrous the prices are for ingame purchases. The only bundle for dog tags that is half way decent costs $100! I’d spend $5 maybe $10 on dog tags, but their prices are so high that $20 is the minimum price for crystals that will buy your their lowest bundle of dog tags. The lowest bundle would not upgrade one of my characters once. This game clearly wants you to spend BIG money for no gain and that is really sad! It should be about the experience and fostering a good time not the money. But again, fun game.

    Great game BUT plateaus quick

There are a lot of characters with different abilities, a lot of weapons with different effects and you would think a lot different strategies to play and get the W, but no. In PvP you have no control over your team, they battle in “auto”. I think the PvP would be more entertaining and feel more rewarding if we were actually doing something besides arranging the order of which we fight. Winning is all based on “power”, regardless if your playing missions or in PvP which is an obvious “pay to win” set up and there is no continuous competitive play or arcade mode which makes the game repetitive. You can only replay missions you have already beaten or replay expeditions which is only a few for a while because of the “power” problem mentioned before. Bottom line, if you play games for 5-15 minutes and are done and like SLOW progression, then this seems like a good fit. IF YOU ENJOY (semi)COMPETITIVE GAMEPLAY, THINK AGAIN Also there’s no social network here at all, that might make the game more interesting.

    So close to being perfect..

Bombastic Brothers is a wonderful 2d platforming Run n’ Gun with rpg elements. I even saw a few story elements to the old Contra games on Nintendo! Always a great genre and super fun to play. I was having a fantastic time until I got to the 4th act and saw I was 4K power too short to continue further. So either need to make not such a giant gap in power to continue or create more ways to grind the dog tags and equipment you need to go further. I can’t upgrade my training room to make my heroes higher level, until I upgrade my bridge, and I am not strong enough to get more money and tags until I can. So I feel as if I’m stuck unless I spend a lot of money on just dog tags and gems. I always spend 5-10 dollars to help devs anyway, but I think I would have to spend much more to get anywhere. So great game devs, just need more ways to get what we need to keep going. The more time people are playing the game, the more likely they are to spend money! Keep up the good work!!

    Great game. Wonky controls

I normally don’t post reviews, but I thought I would share my opinion on this one. I like it, it’s great fun and the humor in it gives it a good touch. It’s like metal slug but the animation is different. The game is simple and straight to the point which is what I like. The one thing I don’t like however is the movement controls. They can be delayed and sometimes unresponsive. It also doesn’t make sense to use a joystick if you can only go left or right. I feel if your gonna have a joystick it should let you control all aspects of movement like jump and dropping off platforms rather than put in a jump button. We should get a choice between a joystick that has all functions of movement or use a left and right movement button and a jump button. Other than that, love the game and will keep playing it!

    Keeping the Metal Slug Spirit

It’s ironic that this game is so much more Metal Slug than the trash new Metal Slug game just released for iOS. Bombastic Brothers plays really well and the animation is just gorgeous. I agree with other reviewers though: the balancing needs work - drop just 1 point below the recommended power and a level becomes near-impossible; go just 1 point over it and things get so much easier. Obviously the power scaling is important, but there should be more of a curve so people can risk a level they don’t quite meet the recommendation for, but make it through with skill. My only other criticism so far is that the jump control feels a little awkward to direct, though that might be because the hero keeps crouching and locking in place when I don’t expect it - is quite easy to trigger that by accident.

    Good but...

I am truly enjoying this game. It plays very smoothly and progression up until chapter 3 was going great. I decided to take the $5 iap offer to get shards for Joe thinking that would be enough to rank up....nope. Ok, maybe opening a card pack would help....3 shards...and for the sniper that really isn’t my play style. Wow the packs are way overpriced and not worth the investment. This game’s currency and leveling needs to be much more user friendly. It’s too unaccessible way too quickly, which means you’re going to lose people around the point they really start to enjoy this game but see how futile IAP are and abandon the game. Please take this criticism seriously. I would love to see this game flourish but it’s a huge paywall too quickly and grinding gems would take weeks.....for 3 shards.....👎🏻👎🏻

    Refreshing and Nostalgic

I've been wanting a game to play in my spare time. All I have been finding are these free to play but ad loaded games, that are short bursts of fun. Although, the games are very repetitive. Ever since I found bombastic it's been a lot of fun. THE GRAPHIC QUALITY AND TEXTURE 10/10. GAMEPLAY 9/10 AND CONTENT 10/10 (FOR NOW). All I wish for is more and unique characters and hoverbike control buffs. I don’t have to say this game has a lot of potential because its already filled my requirement. I feel though this game could be in the top 10 app charts. In order to do that, developers, please stay consistent with the updates and changes. I just don't want to be bored with the game. Thank you for reading my review and keep up the amazing work.

Game is fun, but to a point

Overall game is great. Love the game play and it’s a lot of fun, but you get to a point where you’re not getting lucky from the free crates and can’t get good enough gear to clear the missions without getting overpowered by the enemies. You require a certain power level for each mission and if you don’t have the power level, you’re basically going on a suicide mission. Your damage barely harms enemies and they do double the damage to you. The only way to increase your power levels is to get crates and well you probably already know, the crates cost gems which can only be acquired from paying for gems or leveling up which leveling up only gives you like 10-15 gems and crates cost 50 gems. You can get free ones from playing the missions and daily quests but how are you going to beat the missions for crates if you don’t have the gear to do so? So in a sense, this game is pay to play because you either have to get lucky from free crates or you just won’t be able to play the missions a lot

    It’s good but..

It’s a good game all around. Graphics are on point with an option for 60fps. Controls are simple and easy to learn. Good story line that is easy to follow. Seems to have a nice size community of players as well. My problem seems to be how pressured I feel to have to spend money on this game. Once you reach a certain level it feels like you cannot level anymore without spending money on in game purchases. Which I’m fine with, but the prices for this game are ridiculous. Please be wary because once you hit lvl 20-30 everything becomes so tedious and you are not able to level at a normal pace anymore. Not to mention that if you are even 100 points under the requirements it’s virtually impossible to beat any missions. It’s been amazing up until this point. Still pretty fun though.

    It’s great... however...

It’s a really fun game that lets you use different play styles with different types of characters! Which is why it’s such a shame rather quickly it won’t let you play the game. I’m at level 17ish and I can’t continue in the story because my characters aren’t strong enough. To make them stronger I could do daily quests.... but I have to wait for them to respawn. I could do pvp... but I have to wait for tickets to respawn. I could do the bunker... but I don’t have any plays left. Here is the biggest flaw, I spend most of the time waiting. Waiting to make my characters slightly stronger so I can keep playing only to wait some more after I beat the next board. Again, it’s a great game, I just wish it would let me play it!

    It’s okay

So I’ve been playing the game for a week and it’s enjoyable like for real fun. But after passing level 2.5 I can’t finished 2.6 because my power isn’t high enough. But my character is as high as they can go right now and I’ve been doing the supply missions non stop and have been rising so slow and it’s annoying. Like why is the power so high and why does the leveling up stop? Why can’t we level up the training area for our characters to level up until we finish level 3.5? What’s the point in playing when if you don’t get good rng with the crates you have to keep trying with the crates? Please lower it or something for future players it’s a really bad feature that makes its drop 2 stars for me.

    Manipulating game

This game doesn’t help the mobile gaming industry. If you’re not careful this game can and will manipulate you into spending a lot of money. Since I played a couple of mobile games I’m aware of the egregious sales tactics that developers implement into these games. It’s clearly designed for micro transactions and you will realize that within the first hour of gameplay. It’s almost like the devs don’t want you to play it with all the timers along with the lack luster progression system. After your first play through you will realize how bad this is. You will quickly come a stop in which you can not progress unless you either pay or wait for timers. When you do finally progress you will then be greeted with another roadblock in which the devs will once again give the option of pay or wait. It’s like this until you reach endgame. Once you reach endgame the devs will add new maps and levels and repeat the process mentioned above. Save your time and money, the developers don’t deserve it.
