Fun space version of Hawk, but needs minor improvements.

First of all, I never usually write reviews and I am a supporter of this company. I also play Hawk Freedom Squadron, I do occasionally buy premium when I want to spend more time playing it. This game is similar but just different enough to be fun and not only in theme. My suggestion is to improve premium by including unlimited fuel as you do in Hawk, OR because the game involves attacking other players outside of story mode, limit fuel use to that. The premium without this is not very attractive and I bought it initially believing it would include unlimited fuel...until this is added I will not purchase premium again. I would like to say that the gameplay is challenging and fun, and of very high quality, though it can be crystal greedy at times. All of the features are fine, and I like the upgrade system in this one.

    A Site for Sore Eyes

Easily this is one of the top tier mobile games out here. It a fresh spin on something we’ve seen through out the ages, and passes with flying colors. Literally.. the game remains challenging in every level and you have the option to get help from other teammates around the world, but you can also battle against their home ships to steal their loot! The game is absolutely beautiful and each background moves and gives some much needed depth to it. The games action and shooting mechanics are very simple yet satisfying which is a positive mark on most mobile games! My last and best point about the game and why it’s a site for sore eyes is the fact it isn’t completely trashed with ads. It really feels like a labor of love to older shoot’em up style games, and it is really a rare gem within mobile gaming. Nicely done!

    Addictive Game

I have been playing for about a year now and I play almost everyday, the do have updates and I buy the monthly perks, but rarely have I bought much else, I was frustrated that I can never seem to win a free s type ship from the random give aways, I thought you must spend lots of money to get one and I even spent gems to get a stack of chances and nothing, then suddenly one day I finally got one, so it does happen, I have enjoyed the grind and updates plus playing co-op has been a blast, wish we could socialize more now that we are quarantined, look forward to more updates, much respect to dev team

So far one of the best

I haven’t been playing this game for long, but so far it’s been one of the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had from the App Store. You don’t need to spend money to keep playing and stay competitive, the game play is challenging, but a lot of fun, and there is co-operative interaction between other gamers in real time, which is optional, but helps make your characters more competitive. I’d strongly recommend to anyone who’s ever enjoyed anything remotely like Galaga, or just looking for a fun game. I’m happy I stumbled upon it!

    Amazing, with a few problems

Ok, I’m going to break this review into two sections: Good and bad. The Good: This is one of the best Shoot em ups on mobile. The gameplay is great the graphics are fantastic, I love how you can attack other players yet there is a huge campaign. Over just a great game! The bad: I have two problems with this game: 1. Lack of Offline mode. When I play mobile games I like to be able to play offline. But this game has no offline mode. I just want to be able to play the campaign and upgrade my ship when offline. I am aware about some campaign levels that are simply just attack another player, but maybe a level like this could be temporarily skipped or have a ship to attack randomly generate. 2. The fuel system. Now, I get this is a free game, but I really hope the devs add a one time purchase for infinite fuel. Up I know this is a subscription service for that and other rewards as well, but I’m not interested (and I suspect many others aren’t either) in a subscription service for one game. Maybe you could keep the subscription service and have it have the additional rewards and have a one time purchase for just infinite fuel. Maybe make it 3-5 dollars? I hope these suggestions make it into the game! Thanks for reading!

    Impressive Graphics but quirks

The game has a couple of added attractions one doesn’t normally get in a top down shooter. Raiding parties, ship wide upgrades, and more—beautifully designed but one reaches a point where gameplay becomes repetitious fairly soon and without buying real money upgrades you keep being defeated. Easy level was fun but the next level wasn’t as you have a certain amount of enemies you must eliminate. Don’t know what the hard level entailed. At first of course you win all the time, that’s to get you interested (and to learn basics). I wasn’t sure about what to upgrade when. Be offensive? Defensive? Not the game for me but I’m sure others would love it.

    Too Money Hungry

Space Justice is a merely above average mobile shmup that is clearly more concerned with emptying your pockets than delivering a fun, quality experience. Everywhere I look, “watch an ad for a reward!”, “special offer!”, “limited time deal!”. The game is grindy and there’s an energy system. You can watch ads to refill energy, or pay a monthly fee for unlimited energy (of course it couldn’t just be a onetime purchase). Boy, I love paying to grind more. I get that the devs have to make money, but this is way too much. Phoenix II, for example, has been a very successful mobile shmup despite having way less ads, no energy system, and less pay to play/win stuff in general. Yes, you can technically beat this game without spending any money. It’ll take forever and you’re much better off just finding a better game, but... you can do it. I look for games that try to push the boundaries and innovate. Space Justice’s flashy trailer and positive ratings made me hope that maybe this game actually had something going for it, but no. It’s the same as every other mediocre mobile scmup, just with slightly more impressive graphics and a couple minor extra features. Meh/10

    Great game but...

Love this game. I often played on a daily. Great visuals, game play and the multiplayer player connectivity. I used to pay for the 30 day “premium” on to of paying for even more gems to upgrade Ships and Drones. It began to feel like one of those pay to progress kinda games with the add watching on top. Then Completely stoped playing for nearly a year. I came back and it’s great to see more added, and even more ships. But again I found myself tempted to buy gems and the monthly premiums, and the butler geezzzz, to save on add watching c’mon. Immediately felt like I just had to pay for just about everything. Would be niiice to just pay for double rewards permanently, and just have the monthly premiums. I felt overwhelmed and sad at the same time. I want to play, but I don’t want to pay so much money to enjoy it. Sincerely, A Gamer

Play first chapter: 5 stars! Then delete...

I probably spent over 100 hours on the first chapter thoroughly enjoying this game! I occasionally spent a few dollars here and there and it was well worth it. Best top down fighter shooter I have ever played! “Hawk” was my favorite game before, and these are the same guys that brought that to us. And, just like “Hawk,” it turns into a PTP. It has become far to impossible to advance without spending serious money. Such a bummer. I really love this game but the massive roadblocks presented upon entering chapter 2 are forcing me to abandon this game. I encourage you to fight through chapter one, have a great time, but DO NOT bother trying to advance into chapter 2. Just have fun repeating chapter one and competing in all the side games they offer. Still very fun, but no advancement prospects.

    Shameless money grab

I really enjoyed this game for about 2 weeks. The loved getting to choose which ships I got to upgrade and improving my team of support robots. However, after those two weeks I noticed I couldn’t progress through the game until I got more stars. Stars can only be obtained by beating more levels. The problem is, later in the game, the only levels you can get more stars from require certain ships to be tiered up to a certain point, which costs not only ship parts, but also a ton of premium currency. Why would you make progressing through a game entirely dependent on getting premium currency? I have half a million credits and nothing to spend them on. Why can’t I just use those?

Great fun ... for a little while

First of all the graphics and game play are great. Fun game that is very good to look at. But I’ve hit a plateau where I’m trying to unlock the last set of levels. My tech lab is completely upgraded so I’ve got all possible skills. And my power has reached a level where there are very few opportunities to assist other players to get the needed Bro points to buy the upgrades to upgrade my ships that are needed to play side quests to get the stars needed to open the next levels. I’ll cue up to get help from other players to attack a random ship just so I have something to do - but nobody ever assists anymore. I assume because my level is so high? Don’t know but it was a fun game until I hit this brick wall. I’d have to play the trials (only a few available a day) and the squad runs (again only a few available per day) for weeks in order to upgrade ships to do the side quests and open the last 10 levels. Which I’ll blow through in an hour. And then what? Great fun. Up until now. Games needs seriously rebalanced or people will play for a few weeks and drop it. Like I’m about to.

Fun at first but very grindy

I really enjoyed this game at first and got completely hooked on it. Then after a while the difficulty ramps up to the point that u pretty much have to grind away every day to advance at all. And it’s nearly impossible to evolve your ships without buying gems. I’m pretty much stuck on advancing the story at this point because the stages are just too difficult. This past update made the trials nearly impossible for any of my ships and I don’t get the ship cards like I used to so I can’t even evolve my ships if I wanted to buy gems. And I have bought gems several times but I’m considering putting this game away if I’m not able to get anywhere soon. I did enjoy the new event tho. Too difficult, costs too much, no progression. Come on guys you have a potentially really fun game here with lots of content just don’t make it so grindy and slow to progress.

    Don’t waste you’re money!

I’ve been playing this gave for a couple of years now and it used to be very fun and exciting. Not anymore because basically you have to spend money to get a good ship and even then you don’t get the ship cards you need to upgrade. Like I said I’ve been playing this game for years and I still can’t get any of the speciality ships nor can I upgrade my platforms. In the past like two years ago it was easier and a lot more fun to play when the playing field was level but now it’s not even a fair fight. There are people playing on here that have the best of everything and I can’t no matter how hard I try or how much money I’ve spent or spend can I in this lifetime catch up or upgrade to there level. I’ve since deleted this game from all my devices and have successfully kept people from playing it because it’s just one of those stupid rip off games that forces you to spend money to play and not even have fun doing it. It’s clearly obvious on how they keep evolving and the harder the game gets when you have to spend in order to play!! Please don’t waste your hard earned money on this game you will truly regret it when you can’t get anywhere close to those that have everything from the beginning of when this game came out. Sad ending to a game that could have been the best but greed clearly set in and now this game doesn’t even deserve a ‘1” as a rating 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎😤😠😤😠😤😠😤😠😤😠😤😠😤😠

    Devs don’t care

What a load of bs. I spent days playing the new event to get enough material for an augmentation, tried to exit the augmentation creation screen without selecting any skills because I wanted to think about which ones I wanted, and it used all my materials to create an augmentation with random skills. I definitely hit the exit button. There is a create button on the opposite side of the screen. What a complete waste of time. I didn’t even get to use it on the correct ship!! Update : Devs don’t care that you invested your time. Was told there is no way to exit the augmentation screen without creating an augmentation. Then why do you have a back button??? And why does the back button create an augmentation? Guess I’m supposed to know that lol. They didn’t even respond to most of my questions regarding the issue and just said the game is functioning correctly. Don’t spend money on a company that doesn’t care about your time. Not trying any of their other games also.
