    Enjoy it, but.....

I have been playing this game for a very long time. Haven’t spent a dime so it has taken me a long time to get upgrades, which is what I enjoy doing. Spending money to get upgrades is like cheating to me. Since the last upgrade the videos ads won’t play so know I can’t progress through the game. Please fix this. Thank you.

    👍

I was reading the reviews on this game and can’t understand why people are saying it’s a pay to win game. It takes patience and time to get the towers upgraded properly . If you enjoy a challenge and not expecting to just win in a few days this game is great . Don’t listen to the negative “ it’s a pay to win game” it is not . Great game !

    Absolutely the best.

Only TD game I continue to play over and over. Best looking TD hands down, multiple ways to play and as far as I know the only TD with tournament feature. If you like TD’s you have to play this one. Nothing more to say the game will speak for itself once you start to play.

Fun game, but grinding in progress

To start out, I really like the mechanics of this game. Simple with some unique content and progression. I will continue to play the game, but this game is definitely designed for you to pay for progress. You do not have to by any means, but this game is a GRIND at times. That is, compared to other similar style games. However, because of that there is a lot of playable maps and progress to be made. It drains me to play two rounds in later stages or tournaments. To me, there feel like there is a missing mechanic, or something that I am missing, to increase the gold you get per map to some degree. at this rate, I do not know how I will be able to unlock everything without paying to do it. I mean, a 1% increase wouldn’t be too bad ....would it? I do recommend you check the game out and if you don’t mind paying for gems the game can progress a lot faster.

    I was loving it...

I’ve played Toy Defense Fantasy for a couple of years at least. I've been enjoying the game, so much in fact that I even made in-app purchases, which isn't something I normally do. However, Melsoft severely nerfed the game in the last update. Why, Melsoft, why?!?!? I was having fun, and I wanted those upgrades and other things that you removed from the game!!! Please put them back!!! Make the game harder, make the castle, spell, and tower upgrade options unlockalbe under an in-app purchase, I don't care, just give them back to me!!! PLEASE!!!

    No music

I love this game, it’s the best tower defense game I’ve played, and I’ve played most of them. I was super psyched that they added 24 new missions when they updated the game a few days ago.......BUT, ever since the update there is no music during the game battles. It still has sound effects, but no music. And yes, I checked and rechecked my settings to make sure the music was turned on. Please fix and I will gladly give 5 stars again.

Fun at first then grab wallet $$

Enjoyable at first. But to pass harder levels spend spend spend. Even after buying lots of gold and gems still could not. Pushes purchases throughout game. Not just level up tower but upgrade dozens of aspects of castle up to level 99. I wish they were required to post how much it would cost to max out. Because getting 10 gems per completed level when it takes 100,000 to upgrade to full power =must spend to succeed. I don't mind paying but not this much

    Good game, bad updates

I commend the developers for putting together a good game with solid updates—the new scroll-based mini games are a great addition, for example—but I agree with other reviewers, they’ve just gotten greedy. Survived 50 waves after spending three scrolls? Congratulations, you’ve won a bunch of chests! Oh, you wanted to open them? That costs crystals. Wanted to use all those cards you earned while playing a tournament level? Crystals. Oh, does our meager daily allotment of crystals make the game unplayable after the last update, even for casual gamers? Here’s our store, you can just buy more! Sometimes even after watching an advertisement video, the content you were promised suddenly has a price tag attached. Yeah, kthxgbye. I’ll find something else to play.

    Typical pay to win garbage

Not much strategy involved beyond “spend more so your towers actually can do adequate damage! Buy boosters and gold so you can actually do missions because the gold payouts don’t scale at all with the difficulty going up exponentially! When you spend 35 minutes on one stage, get to the end and all you got was 60 gold, it’s time to uninstall. Eventually you get to levels where it’s two waves of beefed up underlings followed by a Zerg wave of bosses that you have zero chance of beating. Unless you spend money on boosters, coins, and spells to beat the waves. They’ve really removed the entire strategy aspect of tower defense games for an “insert credit card to continue” button

Fun for a couple days then straight downhill

I love tower defense games and this one is designed well. Fun to play, good options and easy to do upgrade paths. The problem is it’s balance is awful. Once you get to a certain point, you must pay to keep going. I actually don’t mind paying some, I am not one of those die hard “won’t pay’ kinda guys. I firmly believe developers should get their share for providing me some entertainment. But paying should make a harder to Play game easier or faster. When the developers start throwing stuff at you in a game that there is NO way to get past with spending money, I am out. I am taking my money elsewhere unfortunately.

    $30-60 to finish :(

As long time fan of Toy Defense and Toy Defense 2, I was excited for this game. Unfortunately it turns out Melsoft made this completely pay to win and video ad bundle. The game is playable for the first 10-15 missions without having to pay, but anything beyond that requires an insane amount of money (buying crystals and gold), a huge amount of buffs that cost money. In prior games you could pay the $3 for the increased daily rewards and get some long term value and beat the games just playing a bit each day. It was a nice model, provided long term entertainment. That’s impossible here. Best to avoid this game.

Yet another shameless pay to win from the same dev

Been a big fan of Toy Defence, but part 3, much like part 2 decided to become a greedy pay to win and it’s just not worth it IMHO. The difficulty spikes in the progressive levels are just crazy, and the money received in no way makes up for the spike. Enemies just become godlike and towers soon become next to useless. I don’t mind a good challenging game, I’d welcome it ! But here, there’s no way to make steady progress unless you shell out some big bucks. Awesome concept, but needs some good solid tweaking to be a better balanced game.

    Bullet proof enemies??

No matter how much you seems to upgrade your towers your enemies become bulletproof especially at the end of each wave.....and the rewards are very lousy for playing a for 10 minutes to get 20 coins and 5 crystals...killing enemies count to coins are also wrong...that definitely is not working.... don’t believe the rewards are right also especially for mini games with the chest...very lousy rewards.....one more thing... What good is 6000 plus coins at the end of every wave???

Pay to win game. Not recommend.

The tower upgrade is so expensive. At the end of each stage, there will be option for u to spend crystals and restores the health point we lose. It should ask for confirmation because I have hit that button for many times and losing so many crystals. Also for the spell as well. They make us to spend crystals accidentally so we have to make some crystals purchase. Like the concept of the game but not worthy spending time on this.
