    Love this game and Starlight!

I have been playing this and Starlight for months because I have an amateur interest in Lepidoptera, and this game teaches me about so many different species! I love both of these games for different reasons, but Flutter is the better of the two in terms of play if not for the maxed out butterfly effects alone! Being able to hurry a caterpillar or pupa is so awesome and helpful, and I wish they would allow these effects in Starlight as well. Thank you for this app because I’m loving it overall. I have a major complaint though, and a suggestion. I have now accidentally laid eggs and wasted precious Flutterbucks because there is no confirmation prompt on the Lay Egg button. I’ve lost a total of 70 FB doing this. When you are in-game tapping butterflies and flowers quickly, you can see how this can happen in a matter of seconds before there’s even time to register that I’ve tapped on a butterfly multiple times. There are at least 3 unnecessary prompts just to return a butterfly back into your forest (reversible action), but zero prompts to lay eggs (irreversible action) and spend your flutterbucks. My suggestion is to please add a confirmation prompt for the Lay Egg button, and to make it faster to move butterflies between storage and forest by removing the confirmation prompts (or at least a few of them).

A wonderful little game, but there’s an issue :(

I love Flutter. It’s a beautiful and cute game where you raise butterflies and caterpillars. I have had this game for a few months and had never experienced any issues until today. I was sitting in a drive-thru, logging into Flutter, and the restaurant’s WiFi (it’s very slow, and I hadn’t even realized that my device connected to it) caused my Flutter to start from the very beginning. I was so disappointed because I had sets from previous events and I worked hard to get those butterflies. I did not make a Flutter account, so I assume all of my data is lost. If there is any way any of you guys at Flutter can help me, please try to do so. I know it’s probably not any of your guys’ fault, but I’m so upset. I’m rating Flutter 5 stars anyways, though, because it is an addicting and cute game with wonderful designs and amazing characters, such as the kingfisher, frog, bargain beetle, and the Florida tree snail. Also, you should get the moth version of Flutter, which is Flutter: Starlight. Both are really awesome and whimsical games!

    Flutter: butterfly sanctuary

Best game on this game I love how cute and pretty all of the butterfly’s are I really like how each of them have their own special and unique markings I am extremely passionate about conservation for endangered species and butterfly’s are one of the animals I am most passionate about protecting we should protect these beautiful insects for generations to come I have Turner syndrome and the symbol for Turner syndrome is a butterfly that is why I am so passionate about protecting butterfly’s I even take monarch caterpillars from the wild cut some milk weed and raise them my self so They have a better chance of surviving and then once they turn in to butterflies I release them back out in to the wild unfortunately people are cutting down the milk weed and that is what monarch caterpillars eat so monarch caterpillars are having a really tough time in the wild so bye taking them from the wild and buying milk weed for them to eat they have a much higher chance of surviving then they would in the wild

    Please Fix!

Rarely do I️ give 5* ratings, but this app deserved it. There are 5 stars that must be earned, and I️ go by 5 critiques, one for each star. The five stars: The quality of the game in general: this includes basic concepts such as if it crashes, how good the graphics are, and how easy the app is to use. This app fulfills all of these things. How much time the game gives me: what I️ mean by this is how much time the app will engage me for. This app doesn’t engage me for too long at a time, but the time builds up. Advertisements: I️ know it is essential to have advertisements on a free game just because it does cost 100 dollars a year to keep your app on the store. (Unless you want to totally destroy the app and make it a pay-2-play) this app offers in game money (flutter bucks/coins and what not) for watching advertisements, making them optional. How well the game lives up to its type: for example, if it was an rpg, then, in order for it to get the forth star, it must be good compared to the other rpgs. This game is one of a kind! I️ really appreciate it. How greedy the makers are: the makers of this game aren’t very greedy at all. In order to collect event butterflies, it’s not a necessity to buy in app purchases. I️, personally do like to do in app purchases, but that’s another story. One thing I️ would do though: Make a features that allows us to lock butterflies so that we don’t accidentally sell our important ones!!

Fantastic game With only one small problem

By far one for the best games I’ve ever played. Very relaxing and straightforward. You don’t ever have to sit back and think to much and on the other hand you also can’t just mindlessly play it. Such a phenomenal game. All of that said however there’s a small problem with watching videos. At this time they just recently added a feature you can take 30 minutes off of the time of an egg or caterpillar by watching a small 30 second ad. A great concept and you can watch one and save yourself a good little bit of time however it has a problem with not giving you credit for watching it. Not a big deal but if you watch a 30 second video 4 times trying to just take 30 minutes off it’s kind of annoying. That being said as wel that’s my only complaint otherwise it’s a great game and perfect time killer!

    I love this game!

I have Furistas, I have Starlight, and I have this game! I want to get the others too, because I love Runaway! They make amazing games, so any newcomers looking for a fun, relaxing game to play, I recommend looking for games by Runaway! One little note on this game though, about 3 months ago I got a new phone and had to start ALL OVER AGAIN, because I didn’t have a Facebook account. And I noticed that you only let people with a certain amount of Flutterapedia points participate in events. Why do that when you could earn MORE butterflies that are a one-chance offer? Also I’ve noticed that you guys don’t play events over and over, which gets really frustrating because I can’t just earn a whole set of butterflies from garden events. Anyway, aside from my questions, I love this game! Edit: I don’t know if I met the required flutterapedia or something, but when I went back to my game, I couldn’t believe my eyes! I ACTUALLY was in a flower event! So I don’t know if you took my suggestion to lower the flutterapedia score, but if you did thank you! I feel like this will really help the game, especially for beginners. Another Edit: still love the game, but I have a question. What is the “spread the love” ability??

Please add visiting butterflies back in!

I love this game and have been playing it for over a year now. It’s very relaxing and helps me start my day off on a peaceful, happy note. However, I really wish the developers would add the ability to lay eggs from visiting butterflies back into the game. I know it’s not necessary with the addition of the wonderful garden events, but as I’ve been a subscription member for over a year now, I’ve saved up almost 2,000 bucks which I can rarely use now that I don’t have the option to lay eggs from visiting butterflies. If this feature isn’t returned, I won’t be renewing my subscription once it expires as there’s not much point in collecting premium currency I can’t regularly use. Since this feature is still available in Flutter: Starlight even after the addition of garden events, I’m not sure if it’s an intentional omission or an oversight or bug, but either way I would love to have the option again. Thanks for making such a wonderful little game!

    I love most of it

I enjoy the gameplay. I think most of the prices for things are a bit exorbitant, which is unfortunate because I’d love to finish some of those older event sets. And then when I do decide to pay money for something, it freezes the game and half the time I don’t end up getting the thing. It also freezes most of the times I try to leave the app and come back — though I generally avoid this because it’s stressful to me when the butterflies are flying about all willy-nilly. I do wish there was a setting to stop them from taking flight on their own, because my need to avoid this stops me from opening the game until all my butterflies (or moths, because same goes for Starlight) are ready to harvest and that really kneecaps me as far as getting events done. I still love the game and I’ll keep playing, but these are things that have been problems the whole time I’ve had this and Starlight on my phone, which has been a few years already.

    So BUGGY (pun intended)

I really love this game. Its cute, and easy concept, and visually pleasing... however it keeps crashing every four seconds and it’s really annoying. I’ll turn on the app and sit there doing nothing and the app will instantly close itself. I try to hatch a butterfly and the game says the files cannot be found and restarts until it ultimately force quits the app... yet again. This is incredibly frustrating as now the game is unable to open... much less able to play. I tried to unlock egg-laying for my butterflies and the same thing happens... “unable to retrieve game files- please reload”. Every. Single. Time. Also when this message pops up, random trash pops up on the screen, which I know is part of the earth day event but I don’t have that unlocked yet, as I’m still new to the game. In the end... it’s an adorable game but incessantly annoying

Love it but needs a few adjustments

First of all, I love this game. However, when selecting an amount of pollen to produce, I noticed that the shortest and least producing one is the best value. I even took more than 30 minutes the other day just to make a chart and do the math. I found that it is way more expensive and time consuming for the amount of pollen you get the higher the values are. Therefore, I would like to suggest that this ratio is reversed, so the more pollen you get, the cheaper it is per single pollen you get. Or make the ratio the same for all of it. I know what I said above is a bit confusing so if the developers have any questions regarding what I mean by this, I will be happy to send a picture of the chart I made via email along with a chart of what I want the changes to look like. Edit: I just finished transferring the chart I made to an excel spreadsheet so if the developers want it and can’t read excel spreadsheets, let me know what format to export it as. Even if the developers don’t want it or do want it but don’t change the thing based on the charts, I will continue to play the game in hopes that it will one day be changed. Also, the price of expanding the forest is on a dramatic exponential growth rate. If the said exponential growth rate could be lowered, that would be great!

    Wonderful concept, excellent gameplay

I am thoroughly impressed with this game. As someone who has multiple disabilities and can’t get out to do much of the regular things in life, this game has done a wonderful job of occupying my time. Graphics are great! They’ve done a great job of not pushing on you that you have to buy things to get ahead and minimal (I’m 2 days in and haven’t seen any at all) ads. I agree with another reviewer though, the amount of sap you need to clear a new area is a bit much. Just starting out and I’m already into needing thousands and this is only the 3rd or 4th area, so those definitely need to be adjusted. Other than that, great game and I look forward to checking out the other games in the series as well.

    A problem

I *love* this game. However, I have a huge problem with the current event. The game gives me 1-2 special flowers a day. I’m not positive, but I think that you are supposed to be able to get more flowers from friends. However, my game will not connect to fb and customer service says that the problem is with my connection. Not so. None of my other apps/games have issues connecting with fb - only this one and their two others, which I also play. I tried to find friends on Game Center but that doesn’t work either. My husband even downloaded this game so that he could send me gifts through the game, but the links we sent each other through iMessage didn’t work. We tried multiple times. Please fix this issue or at least make it possible to collect more event flowers on your own! I will happily change my rating back to five stars when this is fixed.

Love game - Having trouble with purchases and rewards

Love the game and collecting all the beautiful butterflies, but recently the "watch ad/get reward" feature only works about half the time - meaning, i watch a video, but no reward. The button to claim a reward never shows and if I'm still interested i can watch again for another 50/50 shot at it working. A lot of times I just give up and close out. Then -separate issue - yesterday I decided to splurge with an in-app purchase on Flutterbucks. They showed in my account right after purchase but on closing and reopening the app, disappeared and did not reappear. I already had Apple refund the purchase price, but i would have liked much better to get what i paid for and to be able to use the purchase for ongoing play. Please fix these glitches!

Fix how you move and tap

They need to fix how you move around and tap actions. Everything responds to one finger, so whether you are trying to move butterflies to capture the dandelion or doing something else, everything activates. In other words, have a two finger motion to move around the forest, have a double tap to activate info on specific butterflies or open the menu to lay eggs, and have a single touch/pull be how we move butterflies. And stop having things drop into the forest with big signs that stick over them and block your ability to see and do other things you need to do. Seriously, for a game that has been around this long, these types of annoying play issue should be fixed. It also would be nice to make the sap costs reasonable to expand the forest, since new events overload the forest and storage and otherwise you’re making it less likely people will stick with it and play. Who is going to spend hundreds of dollars just to unlock two more slots? You’re capping your own profit margin and user growth by driving people out of the game, esp. your advanced users.
