I had this game for my iPod touch and saw the HD version available for the iPad and had to get it. I love how clearly everything came out. Wish the ads weren't there though. There is a bar of ads that pops up across the screen at the very top every now and then. It does not get in the way making you accidentally click it. It just shrinks and stretches the game window a little when it pops up. Not as annoying as other games with ads.

for those having trouble with the fruit cooking, well you have to take the rocks of the cooking pit next to the fruit trees, than when you're done with that you grab the rocks and take them to the fire and wait until the rock heats up one by one, It takes about four.. than get the leaves on the tree next to the blueberries and take them to the cooking pit, FINALLY you can cook you're fruit

I used to play the free demo on my pc and it was a blast. You do need to watch them until you get them on a sustainable food source,but once they learn that you're fine. My only issue is the 9 population limit- you need 20 for puzzle 12 so why not make the limit 20? Other than that, it's awesome

I LOVEEEE virtual villagers 4! I think it's my fave<3 I just love the puzzles, their just my level, and the selection of people, and I've made a very Special bond with My Little people<33 I really don't mind the ads! Just x it out! And most of the ads are just a banner in to top, no biggy! I'm planning on buying the full version!

I have had this problem for two days, and I wanted you to know that I have no idea how to get food. I restarted the the game so I could get help. It says nothing about how to get food. Even when my people say "worried about food." Other than that it's a great game. You did a great job with the game by the way!

I honestly love this game, and I was finally actually getting the hang of it and surviving. The only problem is that EVERY single baby I had was a girl. Eventually my last male died, and I couldn't do anything else with keeping the population going. I wish that the boys and girls were more equaled out. Other than that, it's a great game and super fun!

When it comes to choosing your characters in the beginning you should be able to go back if you like a characters strengths instead of rejecting all the others to get all the way back to it. For the baby's arrival I think it should be 45min instead of the 256min or whatever it is.

It's a pretty good game, but I never have enough tech points to do more advanced things and my people die after a few days. But in those few days of game play, it's a fun game. ***HOW TO PLUG THE HOLE IN THE STREEM*** First you need a villager that is an adept scientist AND an adept builder. clear all the debris that is next to the waterfall When you get it all cleared, you will see a stone kinda shaped like a boomerang by the ocean that the waterfall used to land on before you cleared it. With your villager that is an adept scientist and adept builder, drag it on the stone and it will take it to the hole. 😄😄😄hope that helped!😄😄😄

I remember playing the first virtual villagers on a palm pilot I think, fun game though difficult when I was that age. I was happy when I found out the games were for iOS, so I quickly got the free versions of all of them. And though every game is fun and unique in its own ways, they all suffer from the same stupid flaws (not sure about the 5th one as I haven't played it yet) 1) no zoom? You'd think a touch-based port of a game would support multi touch... 2) pop limits? Hey I understand you gotta make money, but tech costs are already large, and they are in-app payments, pop limits are just annoying and don't make me want to buy the game. 3) random resets? Fr too often my game randomly gets reset, and obviously this is annoying. 4) babysitting? And no, I don't mean taking care of babies. I mean having to watch over every villager to make sure they don't get distracted, or even to make sure they correctly "learn" how to do a thing, like pick fruit or pick debris. Why can't I just drop them on the fruit tree and trust that they aren't so stupid so as to not know how to pick a blackberry? If I drop a villager on a blackberry bush, if he's to learn, why not make him fail, and then try again automatically? Having him get distracted afterwards is just extremely annoying and is just a stupid game mechanic. I know this is an old game and probably lays on deaf ears, but at least any new comers to the game will have something to expect.

Grab fresh water ( from the top bowl next to the waterfall ) grab a rock next to the stairs (the fat one thats short)and your villiger will put it in the fire and wait until it is red then grab it and they will put it under the couldron of fresh water ( must be filled first ) and then grab the three differ herbs ( the red one close to the mausolium, the yellow one that you see in the little ditch next to the stairs of the research place the rocky one and last the white one thats almost under the stairs the short fat one and next to the rocks ) then once theyre all on the table drag a villiger to the cooking area and their action will be cooking and the pot will steam but heat up another rock as it will eventually get cold ( when there is no more steam ) then put that rock in again and just let it do its thing. Rating not five cause it paused and it pauses freaking eternally and not just this one

This game is amazing I spend so much time playing but, there's a couple thing that really bug me. 1. I stopped playing for a few hours and 2 of my people died everyone was starving and my stream wasn't flowing. 2. The stream should stay flowing once you have cleared all the debris. I like the fact it's realistic and can get clogged again but if I have to play non-stop than I won't be able to play the game. 3. The last thing this game is to confusing, if I didn't cheat by looking on the internet I would not be where I am now. Example: how is anyone supposed to know that only an almost master scientist and builder can place the keystone for the river.

But I was disappointed to find my population limit didn't go up after finishing the collections. It didn't say that part in the instructions. I can't really finish the last two puzzles, and I have come this far so I guess I will see what other free games there are that are similar. Fun puzzles though, they make you think. I like the little people too.

If your going to install this game think again I left my virtual village for 4 hours and bam all my villagers died so what could I do with my village nothing this game is a waste of time and energy I do not know why other people rated it five stars this game dose not even deserve one star you want to know why? Well because this game is just a waste of your time and energy it takes so long to build a hut and sooner or later the food will run out and guess what happens well I will tell you what all your villagers die and you can't do anything about it so do not download this game and parents if your kid is sensitive do not let your kid play with this game you want to know why? Well the next thing you know it your kid is going to be crying and crying because their villagers die so I advise you parents and children do not download this game and the other virtual villager games because they also stink so take my advice and you Last Day of Work a little advice you should stop making games that make little children cry and please adults and children I advise you again do not download this game for the sake of your children because no parent wants to see their child hurt.

The game on free version only supports a tribe size of less than 8 people. To have more you must upgrade, and buy the full version. When trying to upgrade to full version, it says click here for full version, but the website it takes you to does not exist. Since you cannot play for more than a few days, with the free version of the game, and since we lose all our game progress, after a long time to play to get to this point, this game is not worth downloading, and taking up space on My Cloud. I am very dissappointed.
