Fish tycoon is the best virtual fish game EVER!!!! I played the original and now am 6 days in on this one and absolutely love it. I do hope given the type of game they came out with, that they will continue to add species and more and more items. Like I said above, I’m on day six, and I have bought all research, all upgrades, and have found 203 out of the 400+ fish. Right now I’m concentrating on getting some coin so I can find the rest of the fish. I have seen some complaining about not having enough coins unless you find the magic fish that can make you rich...this is not true, unless you are strictly playing only 30 min a day, then it will take awhile. I have not bought a single coin package, and only bought a small gem package so I could get all upgrades. But truth be told I could have completed goals and watched ads to earn those gems. Great job developers!!! Keep it coming!

I like the s game because for me I always wanted fish but I can get one, but the reason I LIKE it is because you get new fish ,sell them, breed, get multiple tanks, (even though they are expensive) I been playing this game since I was like 4 or 5 and I erased it and downloaded and it did it for 5 years reasons is because I like starting over (idk why I like starting over/ I’m weird) anyways my favorite part of this game is when your fish get pregnant and then have new fishy’s and the. Those grow up, but I sometimes fell sad when the fish dies but at least I have more even though I do get sad when the fish dies but I also love you get to check how they died, and also why the next day there are dead fish? (Wow I said that when I literally said you can check on how they died 🤦‍♀️)I like this game I think it’s more better than the first one but the first one seems good to.

I love that free to play games are starting to include the option to watch ads as an alternative way to earn things that would normally cost real money. I have never understood how a "free to play game" could justify charging players real money as the only option to earn various things (from items important to game play to coins/gems, dependent upon which game is being played, of course). Watching a quick 30 second ad instead of having to pay actual money to get extra (game) $/coins/gems, etc... is a brilliant marketing strategy in my opinion - and it's actually how I even discovered this game (I was watching an ad to earn some extra coins for another game, and the ad that came up was for Fish Tycoon. Downloaded it and was instantly hooked. Fish Tycoon is simple to understand, entertaining and free - I recommend this game for sure and have rated it 5 stars.

I would love to play the game again. But I want to suggest some changes. I need to know which fish is new after the pop-up goes away, so I know which one to breed. And, there must be a better way to determine what species make what. So I think the game should remember or save combinations that you have already made. There should be some way to avoid having to google the chart, and some way to avoid oldschool note-taking while playing the game. I think the combinations of fish get a little boring once all fish and fins, and magic fish, have been discovered. It would be neat to allow unlimited types of fish, maybe allowing users to draw and upload fish. My suggestions may be a bit too ambitious but anyway, would love to play again. Thank you for making the game playable without requiring real money.

Anyone intending on playing this game should immediately breed the magic fish with every other fish they get until getting two of the same magic fish, then continuously breed them with each other and sell the oldest! The game has a bit of a slow start but as long as you don’t buy eggs, and buy the 2nd tank you’ll have money quick for upgrades... I suggest using the selling tank and your main tank to birth fish into, you’ll get 2 fish per breed so you can have 7 pregnant fish in both tanks and have 28 babies, then use your breeding tank to transfer between your sell tank and 1st tank (baby fish can’t be sold so they can be safely stored in the selling tank while selling other fish)... I always keep at least 3 of the magic fish so I can gain the bonus from those fish in every tank!

This is a great game but progress becomes stagnant when you get moving but still haven’t found all the fish. I have done all the possible upgrades I can. I wish I could increase the length of time that employee tells customers of the sales. I wish I could get gems a bit quicker since another tank is 1K gems, and some of the required challenge items are 300gems. I’m starting to get board. Almost all the magic fish I found were from eggs, and were born. I also would like arrows when in the species menu so I can go from fish to fish without closing it so I can compare their genes. The game could be improved by having regular updates, and new content. I would love new challenges, new content. I would love to do just a bit more and make it more game like. Quests, goals, challenges, more stuff to buy. I love this game but I wish there was more once you bought everything but didn’t find all the fish yet.

This is just one of those games my family comes back to over and over throughout the years. Yes, years! I remember the first edition that I downloaded on my computer way back when and this game just has something about it that makes the replay fun and “new” because with the many variations of fish breeds, it’s just so easy to forget them, especially after a good amount of time’s passed. The only reason for one less star is because it does become monotonous after some time, as you end up breeding for what feels like ages. It’s still fun to play and I have seriously downloaded this game on every device I’ve had, which surprised me but that just goes back to my point that it’s a game we always come back to 😸

Awesome fish tycoon game from my childhood. The original game made me interested in being an entrepreneur when I was a kid lol. You can totally play this game without spending real $$ by being patient and playing smart. Also takes a tiny bit of luck. There are lots of opportunities to earn coins for stuff such as watching ads. The only thing I don’t like is that a lot of items cost an exorbitant amount of gems and it’s really hard to get those. Also I wish there was something more to this game. I found the golden guppy which I breed and sell for $360 and now I’m thinking I wish there was some other challenge because I have a ton of money but nothing to spend it on (not including the gem items). Oh well, great game other than that.

I play this game a lot, and I love the game and the fish. But the one thing that is wrong with the game is that it has really high prices when you have to buy supplies, and the fish that you sell are really cheap, while the supply list money just bursts through the sky. It’s a bit unreasonable, and I’m always thinking of using REAL money to buy the game money, and I just don’t do it, and that only makes me more frustrated with these prices. So, game developers, it would be great if you could lower the prices of the supplies to more reasonable levels and raise the prices of the fish to more reasonable amounts too. I used to play this game on my computer as a child so naturally I was very excited to find it on my phone. I enjoyed playing it for all of 2 days until I realized rare (and regular) fish do not survive early game for more then an hour unattended, and without a zillion health solutions and revivals causing you to spend nearly every coin and gem you make just to keep them alive. (because the filtration system and other items are too expensive.)Buying the temperature regulator,I thought might be helpful, it’s not. Lol. 500 coins down the drain for fish to still die anyways. It costs like 1000 coins to get new research, food, and other tanks. And if you thought you could just watch ads to build coins, sure give it a shot! gets you and makes you think it’ll make you a bunch of coins, but after you watch enough ads, the game tells you you cannot watch any more adds for the whole campaign. Leaving you to try to revive your dead fish with the two gems you get from the stupid seashells. Lol I’m raging too hard at the ridiculousness of this game for someone in their 20’s but you know what this game is lame. Now you know. Thanks for attending my ted talk.

I wanted t give the game 3 stars at least. But this is why I only gave it 2... let me first start by saying I live the concept of this game I also like the graphics and the visuals on this game as well. So many types of fish you can collect and sell. But my first problem was the amount of time it takes to do anything in this game. For a fish to become an adult it has to take at least 30min, when a fish is pregnant and the amount of time for her to have her baby fish another the 30 min you can only sell your fish for 2min at a time and then your employee takes an hour break in between... okay I’ll still play the game I’m thinking, it’s a tycoon game... but the biggest problem was how quick your fish die... like I said the amount of time to do anything in the game leaves you with nothing to do unless you wanna be watching ads to earn a small amount of coins while you’re waiting for your fish to be born or become an adult exc... so when I don’t play the game for 3 hours log back in and find 5 of my fish dead! When I click autopsy it says conditions in the water. Game is to much without giving much but a pretty colorful show. 2 stars.

The game is slow to respond because every single transaction, including using resources you have already obtained, needs to be run through the server. That’d be fine if it only took a second, but I’m waiting almost a minute for using treatments on my tank to go through. On another part, the ad campaigns don’t work all the time. Sometimes there aren’t ads to watch for the premium currency at all as if there are down hours like a bank, or other times when they do work, you cannot close out of the ads and are forced to restart the game to resume play. The game formula is fine. Nothing too much to say there. There are just so many walls to playing the game that simple actions take far longer than necessary because the game needs to have a very slow babysitter of a server to make sure everything checks out, punishing the 95% of players to make sure the 5% that would cheat can’t do so.

I’ve downloaded and deleted this game plenty of times. This time I actually started playing it. I’ve pretty much purchased everything you can buy with coins I can by selling fish and watching ads. I wish gems were easier to get its ridiculous how little you get through playing, watching ads, and the shell that pops up once in a while only gives you two. It is also waaayyy overpriced to buy gems. It’s also ridiculous how many gems you need to buy certain things like a thousand gems for an additional tank. There needs to be more things added or just something to spice up the game. I’m getting pretty bored of it now since I’ve bought everything I can afford without spending actual money and through playing as well as watching ads. Please update it and make it more interesting. The fun and excitement was too temporary.

I downloaded the game, and was really enjoying it. I was breeding and selling and having a pretty great time. I spent the entire day watching adds and such to collect coins to upgrade my tank to keep my rare fish alive. I was okay with that, since I jumped into breeding rare fish a little earlier on then I should have. However, the little pop up to link my Facebook just kept coming up, getting in my way, so I thought: what the heck? I’ll just do it to get it out of the way. BIG MISTAKE!!! I opened the pop up to link my Facebook, put in all my information, and the entire thing crashes. I thought: okay, no biggie, I guess I just won’t link my Facebook. But when I went to relaunch the app...everything was GONE. It opened up to the original story scene, and although I hoped and pleaded for it to just be a glitch, I was mistaken. TWO DAYS of ads and caring for virtual fish, only for it all to disappear because of FACEBOOK! I’m just glad I didn’t sink more time in this glitched out app, or I’d be probably be a lot angrier than I am now.
