Video Manual: How to Use the Cyberika: Action Adventure RPG App

How does it Work?

Meet its inhabitants, complete important quests, fight with freaky punks in dark backstreets and race through neon lit streets in your sports car. Who knows, maybe on your way home you’ll stop in Downtown to install another body implant or grab some ramen?

[ CYBERPUNK RIGHT NOW ]

The city is full of contradictions, the streets overflow with poverty and future technology side-by-side. Money and guns solve most problems here. The police are powerless. Survival of the fittest is the only law. An exciting adventure awaits as you start your journey in a humble apartment on the city’s outskirts. In time you’ll be able to buy fashionable clothes, finest weapons, get the fastest car imaginable and move into a penthouse in Downtown.

[ BE THE BEST. BE UNIQUE ]

In this cyberpunk world there’s no place for weakness. If you lack of speed, strength or hacking skills, just go and get your body improved. It’s what in Bradbury Complex we call Get-The-Augmentation. Upgrade your weapon, skills and body to be the best hired gun in the city. And to make sure you always stand out in the crowd, customize your car, jacket or gun.

[ HEART OF THE CITY ]

Move to Downtown to be in the center of the action, and the nightlife. Here you’ll always find a huge number of other players, as well as stores, cafes, casinos and nightclubs at your service.

[ IMPRESS YOURSELF IN THE STORY ]

The city’s neighborhoods look nothing alike and each is controlled by a different gang. Our immersive storyline will take you to every corner of Bradbury Complex. Ready to drop in on another hacker to make plans for robbing a secret laboratory? What about jacking a rare sports car for a favorite auto mechanic?

[ ADVANCED COMBAT SYSTEM ]

There’s a whole arsenal of weapons available to you, from bats and pistols to laser katanas and energy rifles. Don’t forget about the cyber implants that can give you superhuman abilities in battle. Find your own tactics to defeat different opponents, from your everyday street punks and cyber-hounds all the way up to military robots, cyber-ninjas and bosses.

[ SPEED IS FREEDOM ]

Your awesome car is more than a convenient way of getting around the city’s neighborhoods. It has style and soul. You can trust the autopilot with your route, but sometimes it’s better to take the wheel in your hands to get somewhere in time or escape a high-speed chase.

[ UPGRADE YOUR HOME ]

There’s a place where you can relax, take a shower, and order your favorite noodles from The Slurp Shop. A place where you can fix up your guns and equipment or install new implants. A place where you’re safe. Your apartment. It might not look like a lot, but it’s functional, and you’ve got an uplink to the net and virtual reality. And, sooner or later, you’re gonna move up in the world, literally.

[ ON WAVES OF SOUND ]

Every minute, every adventure in Cyberika is accompanied by the leading artists of retrowave and synthwave, including Magic Sword, Power Glove and more.

[ WANT MORE? ]

Coming soon are major events in multiplayer mode, including co-op raids and clan wars. You can also get access to cyberspace, the battle for which will be even fiercer. Careful or you might end up in cyber-prison (and escaping is easier planned than done).

Love it, but please ease up on us devs!

The concept of this game, visuals, and storyline are so fun! I do think it would benefit the app in the long run though if there’s less deterioration and more opportunity to gain items. Hear me out, as someone who understands there’s lots of ways to earn free resources, I still find it very difficult to “survive”! My character is always starving as there’s no way to purchase food, and the upkeep of all the clothing/weapons usually takes up all my credits. Maybe you could have chances at the repair shop and hacker’s place to gain free items? If you gave us a better chance, I think people would be less likely to uninstall. And honestly, I’d actually be more inclined to purchase if it were balanced. Still keeping it and going to be patient as I know you read these! Thank you for your efforts and can’t wait to see how you improve the game!

One of the best game companies for mobile survival games

Have played many survival games on iOS for banned on some games for speaking my mind and was laughed at by everyone even though I died and everything due to the games stability being bad. Yeah they make mistakes but they listen to us most of the time and try to make the game better hope you all stay safe. BRO!!!! They added feature where items are not needed in inventory to repair your items this is probably the best and most useful feature to be added hands down have so many chests filled with materials and have trouble finding items lol keep up the good work.

      Great but lots of disconnects

Update: it seems the disconnects were just the first day I played. Played more since then and haven't been disconnected. (End of update) The game itself is fun and well made so far (only been playing an hour or two). The biggest problem is that I keep getting disconnected randomly, which itself is a bit annoying, but becomes more so when it didn't save some of the recent progress before the disconnect. So you get back in and discover you lost the last five min of gameplay. What makes it even more disconcerting is that there's no manual save at all, and there's no indication of when an auto save has been done. So that fear of being disconnected and losing progress is always there in the back of my mind. Not a fun way to play a game. Fix this, and it's a great game. The one suggestion I'd make is to add more to the driving, like increasing difficulty the farther you go and some risk factor for crashing (which currently never happens because the game auto breaks or moves right before a collision) or reward for driving without any collisions. Otherwise what's the point of letting me drive? Just to get to my destination faster? That's nice, but it just feels kinda silly.

      Pretty good so far!

I first saw this game in an IG ad. It was a while before the hate on Cyberpunk 2077 for being released early. I loved what I was seeing: a top view, open world, cyberpunk survival game where you can drive cool cars, fight rival gangs, hack computers, and explore a futuristic dystopia. I was not disappointed. The story is interesting (it also eases you into the game’s mechanics) and there's all sorts of characters, gangs, and corporations to learn about. Unfortunately, the game isn't a “true” open world, but it's still a lot of fun to explore different areas, scavenging, fighting, and leveling up. Also, the framerate is great; it can easily run 60 fps on an iPhone 6S. One suggestion I have is to make driving from one place to another more interesting (being able to steer more freely, damage the car, have to go on different roads, etc.), but the game is really well made. I hope my review will convince someone to give the game a try, and if the devs are reading, amazing job, keep up the good work 🙌🙌🙌

      Fun game, a few issues

I’ve been enjoying playing this game for a couple of months now. Overall it’s a lot of fun! I have a few minor complaints and problems though: -I’m level 54, and the story quest line seems to have just stopped. Maybe I have to finish upgrading my bio chamber or something else before a new one will pop up? -Gear deteriorates and breaks so quickly, even in low-level areas. I can’t keep up with repairs because I can’t gather enough materials or credits. People have recommended to farm low-level areas with no gear on, but there’s no damage or base armor increase while leveling so I take tons of damage while doing very little. I understand micro-transactions are how you make money, but the game should be easier to play for free than it is. I’ve spent money and am still struggling. -My satiety is stuck at either 99 or 100, so I can’t consume any food items to progress past the new protocol tasks. Even when I try to farm a higher level area, it doesn’t go down. Not sure if this is a bug or if it’s because I’m over level 50? Just guessing. I literally play this every day because it’s enjoyable, but these issues are a bit frustrating. Thanks for making a cool thing! 🙂

The game is ok but needs common things in the game

I played this game for about mostly 1 day just because I was bored and it was also made by the people who made last day on earth so me the player who played that game a lot thought hey this would be very fun and well I honestly don’t know what to say like there’s a lot of problems with this game First is not being able to reloading while moving around and second is the task not saying I don’t like them am just nothing Liking the difficulty for these ones and the guns they Break on you so quickly and so is the armor to like the clothing and stuff Now I know this game is still in I guess alpha form so I’m not really going to you know go deep into it but those are the things I just wish that were fixed that’s all

4 out of 5 due to log in issues

I’ve played this game for awhile and yes it would make progress faster if I spent money but I don’t have the extra to do that so I grind and I’m not sure how others play but I’ve never spent a dime and have a locker full of food and health items and another with enhanced gear plus the shower built to heal at the apt, the only problem I have is some of the parts are hard to come by but I guess if it was easy to get everything then no one would spend money and the game would just die from lack of updates and that bring me to this morning where it wouldn’t let me log in saying I need a internet connection which I have so after months of grinding I can’t access my game…. Glad I didn’t spend money now 🧐

Well made game destined to fail

I like this game, from a limited point of view. It’s well made, fairly deep, and somewhat fun. Until you realize it’s dependent on the “run missions to get materials to endlessly repair the crap gear you have” model of RPG. It’s the very same fatal flaw that killed the mobile Skyrim game for me. To repair gear you need to buy a repair station “kit”. Unfortunately you can’t just use it right away. Now you need to collect the materials needed to assemble it. THEN once it’s assembled, you still need to collect even more materials to repair whatever gear is broken. And you can run multiple missions and not find what you need. And you have a lot of gear that deteriorates. And rather than make it easy to collect materials, they make it difficult. Want to spend real money? Sure, you can do that. Just know that when you buy that fancy gun, it will eventually break and you likely won’t have the materials necessary to fix it, nor will you even have access to the areas that drop those materials. Right now I’m stuck with four broken guns, no materials to repair them, and no money to buy a “new” crappy gun. My only recourse is to spend real money, which, experience has taught me, will not really help, because it too will break. Which is why I’m writing this review. Developer... if you are listening... you have the bones of a good game here. Fix the systems that are preventing it from being an actual good game.

Great graphics and storyline, same grinding aspects as LDoE

For any Free-To-Play players out there looking for a great game other than LDoE, do NOT pick up this game until the devs make some changes in regards to resources. This game has great graphics and a pretty good storyline, but it’s ruined by the same grindy playstyle that plagues LDoE and all of this company’s other games. It has some unique features, but in my opinion it’s just another grindy survival game. You can lose so much progress from one mission that it’s super hard to recover from. This game needs some serious rebalancing. Like for example, 2 hr cool down on the shower(recovers all of your hp), not being able to move while reloading, using a ton of resources to only repair tools by 1/4 of its full durability. Devs, If you could make one game without a ton of grinding involved, make it this one. This game has a lot of potential and I’d hate to see it ruined.

      Progression (Update)

Ive ran mission over and over, they slowly reduce the survivability and trick people to purchase stuff in game. So your fighting scammers thugs… 🙄 ironic huh? Anyways to net worth on resources you have to run around naked, switch between a bat and a gun… i still have plenty of credits but you cannot hord cash ingame without having to buy med packs which does less and less and the people you fight do more and more damage. They even swarm in hordes like 5-6… worst off all your stuff breaks to the minimum after 1 run… 😢 You cannot always run levels with armor, drops are reduce daily and things don’t get easier at lv 34… 😂 it’s a cash scam game with no real need for ideas. Like the context of the npc baddies, there is no future… Cool stop being stingy on the cloth 😁 i need 40 to repair my armor. I only find 1-5 in a run… i can only run skiptown once in a great while because I run out of repairing stuff and healing cost more then the look gain. Also if you soend money the higher enhance gear cost more resources… also the mobs now do double the amount of dmg, so i stead of 3 damage from dogs, they do 6. You blow through a full stack of candy and bandaids at the lv 8 mission which cost 450 per a 10 and a fullstack is 20. Lv 8 mission gives you 1,000 creds.

      Total Crap

I cant get past the first real main mission where you have to eliminate a gang. I had played that mission so many times that my outfit and my weapons went bad and I had to use in game credits to get much weaker ones so I could attempt it again and I still can’t finish it. You can buy things with real money and I’m sure get passed that level but I don’t see how that is fair. Make a game so impossible that you have to buy in app purchases? Not to mention every time you die your health bar is automatically shortened until you get some machine going to make it back to normal and since I kept dying the mission went from frustrating to impossible. I like the layout and the graphics and the idea but missions need to be played without feeling like you have to buy in app and the health bar punishment needs to go away. Also I dislike having to drive somewhere when I’ve been there already. I’d like to just open up the mission I want without having to buy credits to spend to be able to do that. They really try to force your hand into spending money and I don’t appreciate that. It should be an option if you want to but a player shouldn’t be forced into spending. That’s not cool. I’m deleting this app until I see that things are fixed and more player friendly.

      Server repeatedly disconnects/loads PLEASE FIX!!!!!

Updated review: Hello again Devs please fix your buggy servers. I don’t know if it’s because of my WiFi or my phone. I run on low graphic settings and have stable WiFi access. My problem is the Game keeps reloading and constantly refreshes while disrupting my gameplay. This server connect bug has been continually occurring since the last update. This happens repeatedly during missions and when looting zones. Especially during the Velvidi Tower against waves of scammers mission! Though after playing for more than 30 minutes the game no longer crashes or refreshes as frantically. It is very frustrating and distracting for me when I’m trying to have good gameplay experience. After the game server refreshes it erases my progress that was done 5 seconds before, so looting/ killing dead enemies needs to be done twice! Make this game offline if your servers have problems trying to load while playing!? I’m not willing to pay money for this game if the servers are so poorly managed with constant server loading queues!

      Cautiously Optimistic

One hopes that this most recent take on LDOE & Westland doesn’t fall prey to similar endeavors: endless gathering for scarce resources for minimal rewards, grinding for experience with little to no advantage gained, and the ridiculous constant need for food/water. It is refreshing in the storyline: the Bladerunner-like atmosphere, intriguing plot reminiscent of Wadjet’s Gemini Rue, and anyone a fan of the ‘90s Cyberpunk RPG will appreciate this take on the genre. Graphics and sound effects/music are well done, adding to the players’ emersion. A free game and casually enjoyable: that being the caveat. Enjoyable. With bated breath provided by cyber-enhanced lungs, one will see if this can maintain the players’ interest and not fall into that quagmire of developer-driven greed forcing in-app purchases to advance and promises of updates that either make the game unplayable or are never delivered. In the futuristic mean time: enjoy for what it is and see what develops. Update: 4/16: Don’t waste your time. A re-skin of this developer’s previous attempts. Fair warning.

      Greedy and Petty developers

The developers deleted my last review so I’ll make a second, this game is completely unbalanced. Example, I’m at level 18 and a level 16 quest enemy one shots me. There are 2 play areas available, I’ve played through both multiple times and still can’t find basic resources, armor, weapons, or enough credits to purchase any thing of value. I’ve taken off all my armor, left it in my car, died and my armor is completely broken, much like this game. There’s a recycle mechanism that is also broken dismantling an assault rifle, 2 pistols, gave me nothing in return. Repairing a weapon only repairs it partially. Nearly every mechanic in this game is pushing the player to use real money to purchase in game resources. The developers talk about making the game more balanced but make no efforts to do so. I need armor and health to get past a level 16 enemy as a level 18, grinding the 2 available areas wastes not only health items but use up my armor, and guns as well; putting me back to square one. The developers are aware of how unbalanced their game is, and choose neglect reviews and attempt to silence the player. I thought this game had potential but it’s just another greedy developer trying to capitalize off of Cyber Punk 2077 failure. This game shouldn’t be on the App Store.
