Just my type of idle! Great idea, great execution
I’d have to say my favorite aspect of the game is how well you can advance in the game without spending any real cash. Obviously it makes it much easier but with some grinding, it can be accomplished. My only complaint (apart from a few small bugs) is that all in-app purchases for unlocking the “full” game (like double gold, double experience, double game speed, etc.) is ridiculously expensive. While this game is fun, it is definitely not a $50+ game. And that’s with the “bundle” deals. I’d love to help support the devs and spend some cash, but I think they are asking for way too much. Lower your prices and you’ll see many more players spending cash. But like I said, it’s optional. Progress can still be made at a decent pace without in-app purchases. Just my 2 cents. Would still recommend this game to anyone who enjoys idle games
Habby?
I saw this game and instantly wanted to play it because they had the same models from the game, Archero. And then I realized they weren’t made by the same developers. One is iron horse and one is habby. Idk if they work together or not but if not that’s a pretty big sign of straight up theft lol. Now as for the game. I love it. Just like in archero there’s no ads( for the most part). The only ad placements I’ve seen so far actually reward you something beneficial for watching. This is an actual idle game I’ll play for fun when I’m bored because I’m not bombarded by stupid ads every other two minutes. I’ll actually enjoy my time playing and come back to the game because I’m not steered away as I am in other games because the ads are SO ANNOYING
Simple & entertaining
Easy to pick up game. Great simple tower defense without a bunch of excessive crap. Greatest part? No pressure to spend money. You can quickly move yourself up just playing the game. FTP people lf a td game should give it a shot. Still in the early stages so it could change. If it does, I’ll adjust my review. Right now it’s relieving to find a game like this.
Amazing Game
This game is a fun TD and is different than the other TD and Idle games I have played. The only thing I find a little frustrating with this game is how long it takes to accumulate gold. There just isn’t many ways to speed up the gold collection process. Besides that this game is great though and I strongly recommend trying it.
A good TD
If you enjoyed the classic Flash TD games, you’ll love this. There is an option to buy upgrades with real money, but it is far from necessary. You build up your towers quick enough that you have the satisfaction of winning, but not so quickly that it’s boring.
Good game
I like it a lot, it keeps me pretty entertained all day. It’s pretty easy to play which is nice also. Looking forward to future updates and maybe some different options with things.
Great game, needs to be easier without paying
The idea behind the game is really fun. It keeps you wanting to play and acquire new heroes and level up. Unfortunately, it becomes extremely difficult very quickly and then offers $$ deals to make you better in the beginning. I looked at the leaderboard and there’s 20,000 waves total in the game. I’m at wave 80 and it’s almost impossible without spending money or waiting days and days to level up. Also, there’s a very easy way to acquire heroes, you would spend scrolls that were easily obtained through various ways. As soon as you get to the higher waves you can unlock legendary heroes, but instead of scrolls you acquire them through spending gems. These are much much harder to obtain, and even then you only stand an 11% chance to summon a legendary hero. Great game. Just needs a few tweaks or else people will quit very quickly due to frustration.
Fun... but have a few problems
I have been playing for 3 days now. I am really enjoying the game play and the progression through the levels. However, I would love to have a few of the perks from the shop. 2x speed would be amazing and 2x gold would be amazing, but the price tags on these are extremely high. I would be willing to spend a few dollars to get the but 20+ in my opinion is outlandish. I also wish the game didn’t pause when you went into the menu to upgrade or collect an achievement. Again, just small things that I think would make the game better and make the creator more money. Still really enjoy the game.
Fun but could use some tweaks
My only gripe is how much everything scales based on your highest wave. For instance, my challenge map earns lower rewards than it did when my heroes were level 1,000 and they are all over 4000 now. Unfortunately, if you add the increased aura cost I am progressing slower. Same goes for the bounties. It’s like getting punished for progressing in the game and encourages bagging.
Good start
Seems like a cool game. Game doesn’t quite fit the screen for an iPhone X but I imagine you guys will fix that Also I don’t recommend adding exclamation points near any icons unless there’s an update. The “Play!” button only shows the PVP tournament and if you’re OCD like me I want to click that exclamation point away. Minor details. Good game so far.
Good but Ads are a but bugged
Have enjoyed my experience mostly but the ads are kinda important to watch as they give you permanent bonuses and helpful boosts but when i click to watch the add it pops up to a faux AppStore screen with a link to the actual AppStore but no video to watch to earn any rewards.
Fun game but slow progression
It’s a fun game with a neat mix of idler and tower defense, but gameplay is slow, and resetting due to a loss doesn’t guarantee the next round you’ll get further. There are somethings for sale, but I feel they are significantly more expensive then other idle games. I’d be more likely to spend with lower price points, but as is I have no plans to purchase anything else.
A worst version of Idle Monster td
These are the same devs as the game Idle Monster TD. I cant tell which one actually came out first, but this one is a failure compared to monster td. Ill explain why this game is inferior as well as why i recommend trying monster td if you actually like this one. First of all, the ads are not “optional” as many people say. Albeit they are not pop up ads and do not interrupt you, but they offer a reward that ultimately makes it foolish to not watch an ad. So watching ads essentially becomes part of the game. In monster td, its a pretty good model, as these ads are only offered once every ten minutes or so, and no extra ads are snuck in anywhere. But in this game, you also have to watch an ad everytime you die, just to avoid having to start completely over. In monster td you do not have to watch one to start back at the previous checkpoint. Due to the model of gameplay, you often have to play the same ten stages many times before buying enough upgrades to progress, so it goes without saying that you will be watching a lot of ads in a short period of time. Also in monster td, all of the premiums can be bought with freely obtained diamonds. They ditched that in this game, and now there is very little incentive to even collect diamonds. One thing i do like about the game, is the graphics. They are cute and minimalistic. But overall, i will be deleting this one for now.
Great game
Crashed constantly and wouldn't get past loading screen after I died and had to restart . Now I can't even play :( EDIT: on iPhone 5, please fix. Edit 2: came back to try after seeing fixes in App Store page, after redownloading I got welcome back rewards and gold for coming back, aswell as it saved my old progress , but it still crashes after I lose the wave and have to restart. It goes good until the loading screen after you lose and then crashes , even closing the app , restarting phone everything I've tried still crashes when the loading bar gets full .
