    The best

I love this game. It takes place in times where photos were black and white and where there were no cars or billboards. There were funky looking cars and lots of old timey technology and no modern technology. This game takes place in the past and you put a lot of effort into it. Making money is hard when no one likes ads or pay to win games but it seems like you added a bit too much effort. But there’s no such thing as too much effort or too much fun. But energy. 20 energy to investigate a crime scene and you need stars to do everything. In this game you don’t need stars to go on to the next chapter of an investigation. Please make investigating crime scenes cost lest energy and make energy more common. I would like a game that is like this one but takes place a thousand years in the future instead of a thousand years ago. A 3020 game would be great. And what I mean by “3020 game” is a game that takes place in 3020. It would have LOTS of technology, crime scenes with advanced technology, and lots of it. And the clothes would look something that uses technology to be made and look like something you would never wear in 2020. If you would make a game like that I would love it! I won’t care how long it takes even if it takes a year I will be patient. The only thing that will matter is if it is a great game.

    Hours of fun

I’ve been playing for at least 6 weeks now. Usually, with these type of games, I get bored, fast - but not this one! For some reason it works for me. I hate to even say this, for fear that the developers will change the game, but I haven’t spent any money on this game. I don’t have a ton of time to play, so it’s usually please of time in between to bank up energy to play again later. And if I need energy I just opt to watch vids. The characters in this game are really what makes it fun, but as an artist, I truly appreciate the crisp and realistic graphics, which are just so well done! I love steam punk, I am a history buff and enjoy the sprinkling of history, and I like a good mystery - though to be fair, the mysteries are simple and easy to solve. I don’t think I would change that, though, because it’s the journey, not the destination.

C C is good for the brain b

I don’t know when I started playing Criminal Case(CC) but it should be about 7 years now. CC is a great exercise for the brain: besides improving your observation skills and exercising your short-term memory, you can learn a lot, too. They do a great job researching cultural and technological information. You can gather bits of history and have fun doing it. There are very few mistakes in the game and the ones I have seen do not effect the play in any way. The only complaint I have is that each stand alone game makes you start at level 1, and for The Conspuracy that does not make any sense because they all remember us from the original game and have grown older but we (who played the original Grimsborough game)start all over with no police pet, no money, level one and a young looking avatar; that is just wrong.

    Satisfying and Entertaining

Playing this hidden objects search game serves to strengthen my ability to scan for items, something that was compromised by a minor stroke when I was 30. But I’d not be playing the game if it weren’t loads of fun. The characters are interesting and well fleshed out, and the storyline progresses in a satisfying way. It tickled me that the evil-doers and villains always confess in the end, like on old Scooby Doo episodes! The game’s artwork is pleasing to the eye; if you’re looking for a clock, it’ll look like a clock (not so in some similar games!). Finally, this is a game where I can go back to past levels and attempt to beat my own times. I enjoy playing other versions of this company’s hidden object search games, but this is my favorite!

    Super satisfied

I’ve been playing the criminal case for a few years, and I’ve always liked the series, but always been disappointed in how quickly the energy runs out. Not with this version. It goes at about the same pace as previous versions, but is far more generous with gaining energy which allows me to play longer. I absolutely love it. In addition, previous versions haven’t always had the best choices for red hair on an avatar, but this version gives you two really good choices very quickly. The other colors are also nice styles. AND you can get a yorkie when you unlock pets, which I love. I have a yorkie in real life, love him to bits. It’s seriously like this version of the game was built just for me. Thank you!

    Well then...

This game is on the way to becoming the first Criminal Case game I have completed. Criminal Case is a serious contender for my favorite phone game. My only complaint is the pop up ads. We can watch ads to regain energy, so I see no need for pop ups. Also, I wish there was a way to save data in the app if it is deleted. I accidentally deleted Save The World when I was playing it and I saw that I had to play the entire game from the beginning. I would like the game to be able to save data so that if you delete the app, you have the option to continue from where you left of if you download it again.

    Always an issue after updates

I’ve been playing this game for 2 years and really enjoy it. The only issue I have is that every time after here’s an update there are bugs that aren’t worked out for a while. It happened with the last update and now the most current. I wrote to the developers but obviously nothing was made of it. Ever since the update my game does not sync properly between two devices. After the most recent update my pets aren’t syncing and my prizes from the daily wheel. It is correct on my phone app, however not on my iPad. My pets not syncing is really bothering me and it has made me play the game less (than usual) until the issue is resolved.

    Criminal Case Review

This is a great murder investigation game. It is fun with its interactive activities, and it has has a very well developped graphics design. However, the only complaint is its energy system. I believe the game would receive a wider acceptance if attaining the stars to complete some duties was not so unfair. I have been able to complete the object searches and beat the time at a very good score, but no matter how good you complete it, it is no use because the stars only fill up a 1/4 of the way. Everything looks great in this game. Not many games have that, and I am glad we can enjoy these mystery games the right way. The only suggestion to the developer would be to make a better energy system so that we can have more time using the app without having to wait so many hours to complete two actions.

    My stickers keep disappearing

Started playing the game last week. This game is the first one of its kind to me, I thought the concept is interesting but it can get a bit bored for the repetitiveness and the long wait for results (if you don’t want to pay). My main issue is that for the stickers I have earned and put into album, won’t be there anymore (as if I haven’t earned them) the next time I go check. My album collection looks very different every time after I open new packs. For example, I have all three stickers collected for chapter three from the very first case of this game (I got a special effect for getting all three as they connect into one) but now my album shows I only have one of those three stickers. Something is wrong with the programming here and please fix it.

Not a good continuation of the series

I’ve played all the series up to now. I thought having DuPont be a storyline as a good idea but unfortunately the ads are ridiculous. The ones without exit buttons can be exited but not without having to discover it. The game is hidden items, an exit button for a stinking ad isn’t a game it’s a nuisance. Also I am in the first episodes and already I am getting times as if I as three fourths thru. This and the ads make me want to delete this game. The issue of support is huge, there is no support. If you have a problem or an issue tough luck, there is no one to help you. This is beyond acceptable and I am struggling to find an excuse to support such a developer by continuing to play or recommend this to those I know. The ads seem to be timed to every two or three uses of energy. This was the same with the previous version and is annoying as hell. I will never download nor buy anything related to these ads because they are so annoying. It’s such a shame because the first game sans mega numbers of ads was such a great game.

Used to be fun, but now…

First off, this remains an interesting game, with decent stories. Some of the names of the objects lose something in what I assume is a translation, and the ever-popular "energy" system is always frustrating. The most recent update of the base program (as it affects all of the Criminal Case games) has brought frustration and disappointment. The "daily reward" feature was frustrating when it would make you respond within a few hours of the last time you used it or it would reset. Now it's hardly even useful. I'm sorry, but burgers and meals are no replacement for guaranteed extra energy. The more frustrating thing, though, is the timing of the ads. They will pop up at any moment, it seems, from the time you return to one of the main screens. Yes, I'm sure it's a timer, but it will interrupt an action without warning. Even worse, if the game or device is muted, the ads are not, which isn't pleasant when your spouse is sleeping. The ads tend to be for the same games (I'm looking at you, Toon Blast!), making me LESS likely to want to play those advertised games. The most recent update made things worse, with ads that freeze the screen. As others have stated, the publisher doesn't really want you to contact them, as all you get in response is an email that makes you feel like an idiot because you didn't read what was on the support site, and that you wouldn't get any further reply. Well, maybe they shouldn't get any further support!

Updates made game unplayable and no customer support

What once was a great game to play now isn’t. For the last few weeks, I haven’t been able to send or receive gifts from friends on my iPad without the game looping to Facebook only to ask “Open this is Criminal Case.” Duh, that’s why I have the app. Then it returns to the app and if I select ‘accept gifts’ it loops back to Facebook again..endlessly. This happens on all 3 of the Criminal Case games that I play. ..Hidden Objects, Mysteries and Save the World. I tried contacting customer support only to receive an auto response that told me to go read the FAQs (which I do before ever contacting support) or go to the community page which is another hot mess. Then proceeds to tell me that this will be the one and only response to my inquiry. Sounds like pretty poor customer service. So...in response, I will delete all three games and find others to play.. A little good customer service goes a long way. I recommend that you ditch the auto response and actually allow people to contact you.

Enjoy the game, HATE the ads with no exit button!!

Just started playing this one after playing the other three for a while. I’m near the end of the first case, and have encountered an ad with no way to escape it. I sent a notice to the tech support, and received a useless response directing me to the FAQs. I had already checked there and found no helpful information. It’s been almost TWO HOURS and I still can’t access the game because the stupid ad is still up! Don’t you guys check the ads you receive from sponsors? It is ruining my experience and I’ll soon delete the game permanently if this continues. There are plenty of other games I can play if this continues. Additional: I’ve decided to delete this game permanently. The ad with no exit button comes up every day, and, frankly, the game isn’t good enough to be worth the aggravation. I don’t have this issue with any of the other Criminal Case games, so I’ll continue with them. Apparently this kind of poor experience for your customers doesn’t bother you.

Connecting to FB was a disaster

I played this game on my iPad for weeks before connecting to FB. I originally wasn’t going to at all, but the game kept nagging me and promised 100 free energy, so I figured why not give it a try? Well, first of all, I never did get that 100 free energy I was promised. Also, as soon as I connected the game started getting really laggy. Also also, it stopped using the name I had put into it, and started using my FB name, which I hated. So I figured I would disconnect it from FB, but it told me that I would lose all my progress. Why? I did barely anything while it was connected, but I would lose ALL of it? Well, I hated it so much that I disconnected it anyway and yep, it undid everything I had done and sent me back to the tutorial. So at this point I am almost certainly going to delete it and never look back. Oh, and no way to pay for the app so I don’t see ads anymore? Really?
