Criminal Case: Pacific Bay Wiki

I love this game! Been playing daily for months and haven’t had a single problem until today. A pop up ad for the Word Nut game freezes on the screen with no way to exit back to Pacific Bay. I even tried hitting “Continue” and allowing it to open the App Store but even then when I returned to the game screen, the pop up still wouldn’t unlock the screen. The only solution is to close and reopen P.Bay game. It’s become a problem as the pop up appears too often.

I have to admit, I love this game, even though it’s my 2nd time around. I love the Criminal Case games, all of them except...yes...there’s an except. The original game, Criminal Case & 2nd game, Save The World will NOT hold any of my energy. So whenever I go to play those 2 games I start with 110 pts. of energy. So thank you Pacific Bay for holding ALL of my energy (over 160,000) every time I come back to play. Your game is awesome with all of the Investigations and Criminals to solve and look for!

I gave it 4 because of the language used. I say this meaning that kids play this and there are very bad curse words used in some of the scenes. I love playing all of the versions, like the happy hours, like that given the chance to watch videos for energy. Some of wait time for labs can be waaaay too long. I had an autopsy that took 36 hours....waaaaay too long. One more thing and I will stop. When leveling up, if already have 110, it does not go ahead and give them to you anyway. I have seen others really complain about this in other reviews, and hope they will soon listen and give those to us. After all, we did work through the crime and deserve to get the reward! But, besides the above issues, I love all three versions and try to play everyday. If I cannot play, I at least try to get on long enough to get the daily bonus. Sorry so long review. Hard to write a short review. Happy crime solving!

Game is really fun what would make the game more enjoyable is if they took away the additional investigation part it takes almost all of your energy just to complete one star !!! And the Lab results take too long your waiting hours before you can move on in the game . You should be able to get a pet not complete every scene to buy a pet . You should be able to save your energy it’s not fair when you have a full bar of energy and you level up and you don’t get to use that extra energy and you should be able to carry over stars to the next investigation except you half to go back and use them for energy or coins . If they would fix that in the game I would give them five stars ⭐️ thought about quitting the game because of the additional investigation part & not being able to store energy that you don’t use when you level up !! Other than that this game is awesome !!!

I believe you should be able to carry your character and inventory with you through the other three parts of game. After all you worked through the scenes to earn all of it so it should go with you to the other parts of game. I started out on original game and play all four....sad that I cannot use my character for them. I think when moving on to Pacific Bay etc; you should be given the option of building on your already created character or making a completely different one . Would be much fun to add the different things from other parts of criminal case together. That way you are building upon one character if you choose. This is why only three stars, because I really enjoy All of the games and play daily. App should be made capable to blend together.

I had this app previously and I had to unfortunately delete it for storage. But now I’m redownloading it and I’m having a few issues. I can make it past the tutorial, and then it asks me if I want to turn on notifications. It freezes when I tap “yes”. Hence making me relaunch the app. After that it stays on the green “Criminal Case” loading/opening screen and doesn’t let me play. My phone then shut off as if it were going to die, and then it would come back on. After just casually going on different apps, my phone would continue to shut off and turn back on every 30 secs to 2 minutes. I decided to delete the app and the issue has stopped. I really like this game and want to play it again. Is there any way to fix this?

I gave the game 3 stars because when I first started playing at the end of the case you could use the extra stars to get burgers and extra food to add to your total. Now they started this sticker album which to me is useless. When I first started they would put an occasional ad on there, but now it’s ads almost every other scene and then they put up a notice they can take them away for a price. That is a big joke, first they are paid to put the ads on, but then they want you to pay them to take them off! It’s all about the almighty dollar and not about the game. I would rather dump the game than pay someone to take off ads that don’t need to be used that often.

When I first got this game a while ago, the character art was super nice, detailed, and it matched the rest of the game. The scenes are still just as detailed and nice, but the characters all of a sudden became downgraded to flat digital drawings that look like they’re out of a coloring book. The characters look so out of place in the scenes now that it’s really weird. As for the gameplay, it’s kind of annoying. You use up energy to get stars to complete tasks, but it takes forever to get more than one star on a scene. It just becomes very tedious and grindy, even on the second case. It’s ridiculous. The first one is with kid gloves, the second case immediately makes it annoyingly impossible to get anything done without waiting several hours for your energy to recharge. I only gave it two stars because it used to be a beautiful game, but now it’s just sacrificed too much of the graphics for it to be enjoyable for me anymore.

I started playing Pacific Bay awhile ago and loved the original. I like this one too but I’ve encountered problems with earning the stickers for my album. After I earn a packet by earning stars, I open a packet it shows both the new and ones I received before. However, when I open the album, some of the stickers are not appearing! This is a problem that needs to be fixed. I tried contacting support but all I got was an automated response saying check the FAQ page, which I did BEFORE emailing. Then it says at the bottom of the response that there will be no further messages from the company. You’re customer support needs to be better than that. Not all problems such as the stickers one can be solved by the FAQ. If this doesn’t get solved, I won’t play this game anymore.

It’s still the same thing cheating is with your so call bonus. If I had brought coins why don’t I get my full award/bonus. Bonus or award is just that should the snout should fully be given. You now force us to take a bonus spin on the wheel. Can’t hold it but must spin and then you don’t even get the full amount. You storylines are lacking no interaction. Storyline are now predictable, the first Criminal Case had interaction your character even had lines in the cases with other officers, superiors and suspects. The dialogue is lackluster at best. Sadly each Criminal Case games are getting worse and worse.... I once enjoyed them now. Not worth it!

You used to get daily bonuses of food. You used to be able to play the entire game through the ORIGINAL CRIMINAL CASE game with all your points, and animals, and cash intact; now it doesn’t carry over to all the other broken up iterations of the game. You have to start each new section, like this, from the bottom and work your way all the way to the top, earn all your pets, and points and cash on these games all over again. I AM NEVER PAYING ANY OF MY OWN MONEY FOR THESE GAMES AGAIN!! Ads, ads, ads - the latest development. You cannot get through one scene without having an ad. TALK ABOUT BREAKING YOUR MOMENTUM!! I understand ads if you want extras of daily bonus deals or extra cash, but JUST TO PLAY A SCENE ALL THE WAY THROUGH, without AT LEAST 5-10 seconds of ads in between each turn. This is ridiculous. And there is NO WAY TO GET IT TO STOP. I’ve been playing this game for recently as part of my previous enjoyment of the Criminal Case games, BUT I AM ALMOST AT MY BREAKING POINT. I don’t think I’ll be playing any longer. Good thing about the ads: showed me OTHER GAMES THAN CRIMINAL CASE TO PLAY WITHOUT ANNOYING POP-UP ADS EVERY TURN.

First off, this remains an interesting game, with decent stories. Some of the names of the objects lose something in what I assume is a translation, and the ever-popular "energy" system is always frustrating. The most recent update of the base program (as it affects all of the Criminal Case games) has brought frustration and disappointment. The "daily reward" feature was frustrating when it would make you respond within a few hours of the last time you used it or it would reset. Now it's hardly even useful. I'm sorry, but burgers and meals are no replacement for guaranteed extra energy. The more frustrating thing, though, is the timing of the ads. They will pop up at any moment, it seems, from the time you return to one of the main screens. Yes, I'm sure it's a timer, but it will interrupt an action without warning. Even worse, if the game or device is muted, the ads are not, which isn't pleasant when your spouse is sleeping. The ads tend to be for the same games (I'm looking at you, Toon Blast!), making me LESS likely to want to play those advertised games. The most recent update made things worse, with ads that freeze the screen. As others have stated, the publisher doesn't really want you to contact them, as all you get in response is an email that makes you feel like an idiot because you didn't read what was on the support site, and that you wouldn't get any further reply. Well, maybe they shouldn't get any further support!

My phone was getting old, and I was having problems with it. I’d had it a long time so I decided to update to a new one. I had been playing all of the Criminal Case games. I tried a few others, but they don’t have the graphics and they’re just not as good! In Pacific Bay, I like the characters, but I can only stand so many drinking references (“Frank”). It’s redundant and annoying. The language can get beyond what I want to read. And when they go to the Bayou, it gets worse. The voodoo part really was the worst. I downloaded the 3 games on my new phone, but there wasn’t anything about it that seemed to identify me...I did not play on Facebook because I don’t use it (hate it) and so I didn’t know how it would go. I did have a name on there. Maybe a password? But it didn’t ask me anything. Just started OVER from the beginning!!! Ugh! Please let there be a way to restore the game! I have actually spent real money on it. I hope someone reads this and actually cares.

First issue, I thought I liked the game at first, you would offer free gifts if I watch an advertising video. It worked and I was excited. Before I finished the first case it stopped working. I would watch your video and now it goes to a second page after it is done only to make me sit for over 5 minutes and you never pop up claim your gift. It just sits there on a picture and never moves. I have to close the app minimum 2 times and I never get the gifts. It is false advertisements. Now you expect me to pay for everything. To play this app you have to have deep pockets. I would not recommend this game to anyone!!!!! Second issue, in the first case you have a gay couple but for me to have an African American advitar I have to wait (only ones available when you first start are white people) until I unlock it and then I have to pay. You are LGBT but you are racist against other ethnicities. Seriously?!?
