Loved it, and I have a request concerning events

First things first, I wanted to say the story was amazing. It was a journey where the struggles of each character felt real. But, I don’t really see a game in this. I’m sure you’ve heard this many times. I don’t care as much as some others might, but it’s definitely something I’ve noticed. Here’s my request though, besides gameplay. I downloaded this a while after it first came out, so I couldn’t play some of the events. If you would consider making it so we can unlock the stories in each event with something like gems, I’d be grateful. Of course it doesn’t have to specifically be this, but I would be glad with a way to unlock the events after it’s finished. I actually was just reminded of this when I read another review. As for the blooming art, it would be great if we could switch between them. In most cases I like both pictures, so it’s kind of sad to have a picture replaced. Overall, I’m more of a plot fan type person, so I really loved this game. Anyone who’s read this should definitely download!

I love this game. But it ain’t a otome game of your looking for one

This game is fun light hearted easy and I love the stories I find the gem store to be quite expensive but hey how are they going keep making money. I don’t like how it’s advertised has a otome game but it’s is not one at all. I mean sure your the only girl in theater but that’s just it. If they are going to keep advertising it has a Otome game I would like more romance please!! I don’t want too much romance I like how the main story don’t based on it or anything but I would like more romance on the backstage stories also sometime is better of the main girl default name Izumi would be least cold to the boys I mean I want some love ok I don’t want them shot down that quick by her she makes me mad sometimes when am like OMG and she like NO. Other wise I love the game is simple and fun to play and get why some people says is incomplete or not a game but I had lot of fun reading the story and events and backstage stories especially the ones that a little romance sprinkled in *wink* anyways I loved this game and it’s story and would recommend it!

    Amazing!!!

Honestly I love this game so much. It has made me very happy in the amount of time that I have been playing it for. The story is so good, the characters are quirky and cute and each are unique in their own way which is rare in anime based games. I love the side stories, the events, the affection chapters, all of it! It’s so much easier to play, and you don’t have to give anything to read the main chapters which are just as good! I read a whole chapter in one night and felt so invested in the story that I almost cried tears of joy when the spring troupe sold out their last show. I was so proud! I wish this game had more people playing it because I just love it so much, everything is perfect. I haven’t been so invested in a game in years! And I especially love that you get diamonds just for reading the chapters and stories. It makes it so much easier to get cards, and it’s just so fun. I can’t express enough how happy I am with this game. Keep up the good work! And I hope another event opens up soon!

I love this game and the anime...

I love this game so much! It’s the first otome game that I really like; it’s so wholesome and the art is beautiful. I really don’t have anything wrong to say about this game. Some people might not like it because there is not enough “romance” but that is one of the things that I enjoy...that it’s more of a seasoning instead of the whole dish. The dialogue and ideas for new shows and characters are great. Though, I do wish there was a better way to organize the cards and see their stats in a more streamlined way. With the current app’s interface it’s easy to lose track of which cards need to be leveled up. I also wish they would advertise the anime more in the game because I didn’t even become aware that they had a show until after season 1 was completed. The anime show is also fantastic with its interesting angles, beautiful pacing of the story, and awesome art. Definitely worth trying out!

    Amazing!!

I absolutely adore this game! Its a wonderful take on an “idol” game where they technically aren't idols. I love how you can get any character thru the tryouts (which are SUPER generous to first-time players and even long-term like me) but in the storyline you aren't introduced to every character all at once. It lets you focus on one troupe of characters and really get to know them when in some other games they show you the whole group all at once :/. I REALLY enjoy these characters. At first i thought they’d be cliché ESPECIALLY Masumi, but he’s actually become one of my favorites because he has an underlying side personality thats really adorable compared with his moody self. The practice stages are super enjoyable. The ability to put them on auto is really nice it lets me do something real quick and come back to the practice all done. The stories are cute and the art is beautiful. I love their take on romeo and julius 💕

All of them are my new lovelies

The variety of cards you can get are done really well, and I love how each card has a backstage story you can unlock. All SR and SSR cards have a small "choose your answer" portion, which is neat! Aside from the backstage stories, the main story itself is really intriguing. One suggestion I do have for the "choose your answer" portion in the backstage stories is to make all the answer choices accurate to what is shown. For example, answer A will say something like: *Sounds like a date!* But then, when you select it, sometimes the MC will say something rather different. Please make it where the MC actually says what is shown as the answer choice. She can say "Sounds like a date!" and add in some extra bits if needed. Overall, I love the game a lot! I adore all the guys to bits and would love to see more backstage stories for the extra troupe members one day.

    Deserves more than 5 stars!!!

Really, everything about this game is perfect. I’ve never been a huge fan of otome games, but this one sure changed my mind. The characters, storylines, EVERYTHING is so amazing!! Beyond amazing even!!! I cried like several times at the end of the story, I just wanted more! All of the problems I’ve had with otome games weren’t there! For example, I love how the game doesn’t force me to pay for anything (making me have to buy certain choices in the game, paying to buy better items for a better ending, etc.) Also the gameplay was very smooth with little lag and glitching. The animations were top notch. What really made the game was the characters and the story. I felt attached to all of them from the get go. None of them were boring and they all had very interesting backgrounds and personalities. The voice acting was phenomenal! The story was everything I could ask for! It made me laugh, cry a little, and most importantly of all, smile. I usually don’t write reviews (or write long essays for them) but words cannot describe how blessed I am for finding this game and playing it. Definitely going to be watching the anime! I wish the best of luck to the developers of this game, and I hope there’s a sequel! <3

Came for the art, stayed for my 20 new sons

I actually didn’t go into this game with high hopes given that I don’t have a great streak with gacha games, but this one makes up for its simple, oft repetitive gameplay for a really lovable cast of characters. You get to know all of these guys as not just pretty faces with anime boy gimmicks stapled on top, but as a varied group of interesting, quirky people who come to call the theater their second home. It helps that they’re actually all varied in terms of ages, day jobs and social backgrounds, so that it’s not just another otome sim lite set in high school. Combine the strong character writing with the bright, colorful art, the wickedly funny and sharp localization, and some top-notch voice acting, and you’ve got just a fun, heartwarming game, assuming that RNGesus looks upon you kindly in your pulls.

    *Insert generic praise here*

I love how the creators handled this game. Most other otome games just lock everything from rare items to their own story behind a paywall and 5 story tickets but this game really took what they were covering in their story and made that front and center. Chapters are locked behind levels but it’s not like you only unlock a single chapter every 10 levels. I’m in the mid twenties for level and I just finished. As a bookworm I adore not only this story but this approach. I normally delete games from my phone after I’m done but there’s no way I’m getting rid of this one. Especially since it has so much potential. Not just game mechanics but plot wise. So many loose ends and unanswered questions. If they don’t do a follow up for their main story I will be genuinely shocked.

    it’s not an otome, it’s a joseimuke

A3! Is essentially an actor (idol) raising game. It has otome elements as seen in some of the card stories but it’s not an otome game at the heart of its story. If it was, then all of them would want treat the Kantoku/Director as a love interest (I mean besides Masumi but you get the point). Joseimuke is a general term to describe games that aim towards the female audience, but not all of them are otomes. Examples include simulation and rhythm games like this one, Ensemble Stars!!, Idolish7, Utapri, and Twisted Wonderland. Please fix the title, it’s very misleading. At least leave it as “A3!”. —— That being said, A3! has a great story line and all the characters are interesting. The voice cast is super phenomenal. If you are not into chill, “relaxing” idol-raising games, then this is not the game for you. For those that do play, I hope the gacha gods bless your pulls. 🙏🏼

    Wonderful in every way 🥺

I love this app a lot. The story is really really great! There are many moments that make me laugh and there are a ton that also make me cry. It’s heartwarming and endlessly lovable. The characters are all super amazing in their own ways, and I love how you get to know one troupe at a time so you’re introduced to every character properly!!! Every character has their own story and each one is undeniably important. The backstage stories help us learn about them even more, which makes the story’s and characters’ impact stronger. I like how leveling up and practicing is pretty easy. I usually just put it on auto-mode and do other stuff until my LP runs out. Relaxing way to get items and EXP. All in all, I can’t find many flaws with this app. I love it.

    This isn’t an otome

I see many people thinking A3! is an otome game which isn’t the case, despite the incorrect advertising which definitely leads people to think that it is such. The reason why A3! is promoted as otome is because of the presentation of the story, therefore, it is “otome-styled”. There are no routes but that is no reason why you shouldn’t play the game! The story is amazing and the characters are so well written i definitely shed a few tears reading the main story. You can unlock side stories for characters by doing rehearsals which isn’t too difficult, just requires some time! Gacha is definitely one of the good things out of this game because of all the Gacha games I’ve played in the last years, A3! is pretty good in their rates and your guarantee of getting an SSR! Also, when I say this isn’t an otome game, that doesn’t mean there are flirty moments in the game! These boys are so lovable i would recommend this to anyone in look of a good story and characters, my personal favorites are Sakyo and Omi though i can’t wait to read even more about them! That’s my review, please enjoy this game!

    Great Ikémen game

I’ve been playing this since it was released for the English server. This game has a great storyline and I really enjoy the character development. I’ve found the gacha in this game to be very fair. You have a way better chance of getting an SSR in this game compared to others. I understand what people are saying about it being repetitive, but this is a story about actors, so of course they’re going to rehearse. While there is music directly related to this game, it’s not the focal point, so I don’t see the point of adding it in. I gave this 4 stars due to the fact that grammar issues have been a repeated problem throughout the game. It seems almost every event has one grammatical problem such as missing a transition word or a word for the sentence to make more sense. It kind of just ruins the game for me, even though I’m sure the translation team is doing their best.

    Great Characters, Bad gameplay

Let me get this straight, I really liked the characters and story. They were so humorous and relatable and even with their tropes the were really cute to see. They really made me want to play the story and get the SSR’s. However, the gameplay is almost non existent. You’re basically doing nothing (the auto-play) and just buffing up characters through 1v1 training. For the three crowns it’s very hard to get if you don’t have the necessary characters and with the try outs you might be unlucky enough to only be able to get the R’s. I usually just try to get enough flairs but it’s still not as satisfying. If only it had better gameplay then it’d truly be a perfect game. The acting of course is nice to see but it doesn’t have any involvement. It’s less of a game and more of something you just have to wait through. All in all, it’s a nice experience but there needs to be more of a game.
