    BEST Cybird Game

I love this game so much. I have only gone through three routes so far, but I’m excited to go through many more. The plotlines are intriguing and dramatic, and you want to keep reading. (Yes I know they can be over the top but cmon what genre is this) For me it’s a great balance of suspense without being too angsty. The character art is very well done. All of the men are physically attractive and well-drawn, and there is a good variety in their personalities. I am addicted to this game, and I absolutely love it. There are some complaints about the expense to play this game... that’s ridiculously overblown. I’ve played Cybird games for years and I’ve never spent a penny (sorry Cybird I’m broke). You can get perfectly enjoyable stories without paying anything. Yes, you can only read five chapters a day, but it’s not that bad of a pace and it keeps you wanting more. Plus you can often collect extra chapter tickets through event bonuses and login cards. It’s not like some of those awful games out there where you can only pick good choices in a story without paying. It’s a wonderful free game that you can supplement with good but not necessary paid features. If you’re an otome fan, I 100% recommend this game. And if you’re new to otome, I think it’d be a hell of an app to start with. Personally I like most of Cybird’s apps, though I think this may be my favorite. If you’re anything like me you’ll be addicted in no time.

    Seriously love this game!

I have been playing this game for a few months now and I have been hooked on it every single day. The art and story is so beautiful and interesting that it’s hard to put it down. Of course, every good thing has it flaws. Unfortunately you only get 5 tickets to use a day, which goes by extremely fast when you get so engrossed with the story. There should be a timed feature where a ticket is added every 3-4 hours, so you can continue your story without having to wait till the next day. Also, the love challenges are another thing that should be updated. There are times where a love challenge will pop up that wants you to buy a certain item or have enough grace to pass. It takes literally days to get the required amount that you need and by that time you can forget the story and become confused. I think that the requirement should be lowered so it is easier for the user to pass through. But aside from those two major flaws, this game is an absolute joy to play and I recommend it to anyone who is interested in the Edo period and hot guys.

    Wonderful Game! Except...

I LOVED this game, but there were a few things that REALLY annoyed me. First of all, the coins. You don’t get any coins to begin with, and everything is so expensive! Of course, you can watch a video to earn 1 COIN, but that’s not very helpful, considering you can only watch 5 vids, which brings you to 5 coins. Most things cost at LEAST 150 coins. See how this is a problem? Especially when there’s a love challenge that requires you buy a certain piece of attire. You can’t continue the story until you purchase the item. -3- The tickets also annoyed me a bit. They’re also 100 coins for one ticket, and you can only use 5 at a time, except for when you first start the game. I loved the storyline, the art was sooo pretty, and the avatars weren’t that bad. There were no glitches or annoying bugs that needed to be fixed. All in all, the game was 5/5, except for the coins. Thanks for making a wonderful game! I highly recommend it (if you’re ok with spending a bit of money on the coins... but that isn’t a HUGE problem.)

    Honestly, I love it

This is the best otome game I’ve encountered on the App Store. The art is gorgeous and I’m honestly really impressed with the quality of the English translation. The stories are cute and fluffy but unlike other otomes, the main character actually is a fairly strong character. Sure, she still can be a bit weak at times, but she actually stands up for herself and others, which I find to be rather impressive. I like the different events they do, for the most part, and even though you really do need coins for them, they are 100% optional so if you’re broke, like I am right now, you don’t have to spend money. Same goes for chapter tickets. Speaking of coins, they recently introduced “free coins” in one of their updates. Not gonna lie, that system is absolute trash. That being said, I don’t necessarily think it’s too problematic because they never even had anything of the sort before. It definitely should be fixed because it’s completely disproportionate what you are able to earn versus what things actually cost.

    LOVE THIS GAME!!

This is the best otome game I’ve ever played, and I’ve played almost all of them available on the app store. I’ve played everyday for about half a year. I played two years ago and stopped but picked it up again in quarantine. It’s amazingly good, the stories are amazing and it’s easy to build up your stats. As other people have stated, it’s quite pricey to afford the premium options as coins are very hard to get and cost a lot to buy. But I still really enjoy the game even without the premium options. I like the five tickets a day as it gets me excited for the next day. The MC of the game is kind of annoying but that’s probably just me as almost all personalities of MCs annoy me. The love interests are cliche but soooo good. I’ve played through 6 routes, each one taking around a month to complete. They also have multiple routes in progress so I’m super excited for when those come out! Highly recommend, it’s not too high maintenance either, just every 5 hours do princess lessons. Great game :)

Perfect in almost every single way

I’m absolutely in love with this game. Usually I can’t stand these types of dating games because they aren’t very interactive and I can’t see what’s going on (I.e. it isn’t video) but this app is a major exception. It’s so incredibly well written, the art is incredible, and there’s a lot of things to do, so you’re never really bored. My only complaint is the system of currency, and how they make you pay for all the important stuff in coins and there’s no way of getting coins, unless you buy them. I understand why though, the developers need to make money off of this game. I wish they did it in a different way though, like through ads. I definitely wouldn’t mind watching ads, or having them on the screen instead of having to pay for everything. But, this game is still pretty worth it, so whether you have a thick wallet, or the patience to wait, I highly suggest downloading this game and playing it ❣️

    Love it!

I've played many otome games, and I have never read a perfect story route before. But no more! I loved Masamune's story from start to finish. I'm actually rereading it now to get the dramatic ending. The stories are well written (even the mini ones) and the art style is beautiful. I think it's really cool how the characters are voiced, as I've only seen that once before. And I absolutely adore the heroine, she isn't annoying or slow like some others I've seen before. She's likable with the perfect amount of sass. I read some reviews, and while I do agree that the story items can be expensive, I think it is well worth it to save up your gold for them since the stories are high in quality. The app takes a little longer than other games to load, but I don't mind it that much either since it's probably because of the voices and graphics. I look forward to the release of the other character routes. This is by far my favorite otome game!

    Had it for years, it’s g r e a t

So I’ve had this game since 2017. It’s seen me through break ups and make ups, but these Sengoku boy toys have been there through it all. The plots are all interesting and the characters are well developed. Ikémen Sengoku was my first otome game and it’s the best one I’ve had since, for a few reasons. Main reason is that I actually love the MC. She sounds like a real human, she’s energetic and stubborn, and just makes it feel more immersive. I’ve played most of the routes, and you may wonder how I keep going after two years of having this game... but it’s because there are a variety of guys, each with two routes to make things interesting AND plenty of bonus stories available. One warning, you’ll want to spend money. You don’t have to, obviously, but the makers of this know their stuff and they know how to get you to spend, just a fair warning. But honestly, I can’t complain about anything here, it’s just a good story, good plots, great variety with each story line and guy. 10/10 I recommend Nobunaga for sexy-power vibes, Masamune for more spontaneous wild romance, Hideyoshi if you want some extra cuddley-kind hearted vibes, Shingen for lighting your ovaries on fire, and Kenshin if you need some spicy starters and ultra sweet dessert (and this doesn’t even cover all the routes) —- point is, you’ll be happy with whichever guy you go with. Also, PLEASE give me Mitsuhide... I’ve waited years. Please and thanks.

    Love this game

This game is beautiful. I love the story line and it's gorgeous to look at, the only things I would consider fixing are making it easier to navigate, sometimes it's confusing trying to get where I need to go. Also possibly a delete all option when going to he messages so I don't have to check them all individually. I would like an option to watch videos for gold or even more chapter tickets, it's annoying waiting an entire day to get more tickets, it almost makes me want to not bother playing. Also consider more clothing choices for just the gold and not coins, it already seems like a very money hungry game, and it makes people not even want to play if you have to pay for literally every little thing. The sound also doesn't work for my iPad, maybe a future update that could allow the sound to work, it's easier to play on here than on a phone because the screen is bigger and there's so much going on on the home screen it would be nearly impossible to be able to click where I need to go.

    One of my favorites.

One of my favorite otome games (and I play two digit number amounts of otome games). I’ve played with Cybird’s Ikémen Series for years. I love the illustrations, I love the voices. I love the side events. The only thing I would rather have is the options to get More closet space OR more chances of receiving them. Closet space is only 1 space meanwhile other otome games are 5 spaces or 10. I would prefer at least 3 or 5. Not 1. I play often, so I end up receiving a lot through the Gacha’s. But I can’t ever get them due to my closet space being filled easily. Also. I’m not particularly a fan of avatar pieces. I only care about scenarios. If they gave us a choice between scenario gachas like in Destined To Love: Ikémen Samura Romances, that would be cool. You could choose between that type of Gacha or the regular avatar Gacha like in it now or in Midnight Cinderella. Other than that, I love the game. I’m a bit lazy when it comes to redoing the route just to get a different ending for a different illustration but other than that, I love this game.

Good but looks like an iPod game

It’s good but it literally looks like it was made for the iPod and the characters always glitch and flash every time you click to go to the next line, so you just keep seeing the background. It’s like it’s from 2010. Super annoying, defiantly like Ikémen vampires better just because their layout is easier to navigate, it goes full screen so you don’t get the annoying time and charge symbol and ikevamp doesn’t glitch or act like it hasn’t been updated in over 10 years. But the story line in this app is good and I can deal with the in game ways to get coins by battling and stuff. Honestly I wouldnt mind paying for in game purchases if it looked more ‘trusting’ and like it was actually meant for IOS and newer software like Ikémen vampire but I can’t cause it looks kind of ‘sketchy’ , it just really really REALLY needs updating. If it ever updates I’ll change my review to 5 stars because that’s really the only thing that really bugs me but it’s a MAJOR pet peeve especially since it’s 2020 and has been years since that sort of app style has been made

Game developer makes it hard to enjoy

While yes this game is very interesting, they’re are two main problems with the system 1.) coins- getting one coin from a video ad is completely useless and if you want more free coins you only get options where you have to pay for stuff anyway! Then if you want to have any luck at getting their good ending you have to pay up, because they’re is no other way to get enough coins. If you got more from video ads, made them part of the stamp system or something it would make that at least sufferable. For coins I’d suggest a style similar to love Nikki, where it gives you in game options to earn diamonds (which is the coin equivalent in this case) 2.) Tickets- every other dating game I’ve played from my phone has the ticket system, (which is understandable) but it’s the same as with the coins. You get so few that actually having them in the game just pushes away potential players and irritates those of us(me included) that want to try to enjoy the game. Having them regenerate over time , instead of once a day would insure your players actually spend time on the game each day instead of being discouraged by you could only play once a day. I really want to enjoy this game but these problems in the actual game fundamentals only show a developer in it for the money.

    Chapters, Coins, and Maintenance

Except for starting your first route, you only get 5 chapters to read a day. You don’t get very many chapter tickets without paying; same goes for coins that are really the only way to get to a happy end. I tried to be patient and hoped that log-in bonuses would be enough to get more chapter tickets so I could actually play the game, but I ended up spending most of my time in menus or being lead to a cash shop. I gave up completely due to lack of notification for maintenance. I didn’t know when the maintenance was and thought my app had been acting up. I did everything I could but didn’t feel too hopeful because there has been no updates on the App Store about the game for a long time. I reset my current route and then got a notification for maintenance. I know it’s my fault for resetting, but I wouldn’t have had a moment where I thought to reset things if there were reminders or notifications of app maintenance and downtime. The story is probably good (I didn’t make it very far) but I’m not willing to spend money for chapter tickets, energy for princess lessons, or coins for a happy end. I’m less likely to spend money since the developers aren’t good at communicating unless it’s about things in their cash shop.

Do not forget your transfer ID!!

I honestly enjoy this game. Yeah it’s annoying you only get about ten minutes of content per day in 5 chapters and yeah it’s annoying that you have to pay money for the better content, but I liked the characters and the romance is pretty good. So I spent the money on a few things and I saved up to around 50,000 gold. Everything was fine until my old phone broke suddenly. Well, because I didn’t write down their obscure transfer ID 6 months ago when I started playing, I couldn’t get my account back. I have records of purchases, ample descriptions of my character and I gave them 3 chances to find my account, during which they asked me to fill out the same detailed information on a form which they didn’t actually read at all apparently. Once, I got transferred to an incorrect account that had nothing outside of a nickname in common, then the other two times, my current account was simply deleted and reset to the prologue. So the moral is this: if you want to play this game save your transfer ID somewhere cause you’ll get no help if something happens. OR go play the Lovestruck app instead. More content per day and they managed to get my old account back in 24 hours (crazy, right?). This game isn’t worth the hassle.
