    Happy Customer~

I've read the reviews here and it looks like I wasn't alone in experiencing a little trouble with coins not getting credited, however getting the problem fixed was a lot easier than I thought it would be CYBIRD's app support was very kind and quick to respond, I had my missing coins back in less than a day. I hold no grudges whatsoever, they were really good to me Finally, as for the game itself, it's a nice otome game, similar to CYBIRD's Midnight Cinderella in terms of getting chapter tickets, story structure, basic gameplay, and events. I have a thing for the Bakumatsu Era though, so I do have a slight preference towards this one. The characters and story are all lovable, and if it isn't evident already, I really do love this app c:

    Highly recommend!!

I love this game, personally. I’ve had it on my phone for years and I play it off and on. I’ve done both endings for Hijikata and Katsura, and one ending for Keiki. Destined to Love gets a lot of hate in comparison to other Cybird games, but I don’t get it. Destined to Love is quite possibly my favorite of all the Cybird games. I love the characters and the plot, especially Katsura and Keiki. The only complaint I have is the length of chapters. They can be ridiculously short, but they’re still good. It is not the easiest to play for free at first but I’ve never spent a penny and I’ve done fine. This is a great otome game, and I hope you have as much fun with it as I have!

    Favorite Otome Game Ever

I found this company through Midnight Cinderella years ago and downloaded Samurai when they were advertising in game last year. Since then this has surpassed MC as my favorite and I play it almost every day. I love that it's fairly historically accurate and the images are just beautiful, they really worked hard to set the atmosphere in this one and I appreciate that. The game is smooth running and the translations are mostly accurate with the occasional grammar or spelling error. I swear this game just keeps getting better and better with each event. Love it! P.S please make more event after stories available for purchase!

Please bring DTL back to life

This was an amazing game. My first otome app and I seriously spent quite a bit on it ( and then other Cybird games) but they stopped having events and then just stopped updating. It was berry disappointing because I had been waiting to get Kondo’s story, as leader of the Shinsengumi who gets repeatedly lost, even in his own compound and who loves pets but apparently has an Anne-Happy type luck around them ( and I just pictured Yamazaki giving him one of his special rocks and the MC doodling eyes and a cat grin on it, so he’d have a “pet rock”), I just think he’s story would be very interesting!!! Please bring back DTL! ( and MidCin too pls.)

    Highly recommend!!!

All I have to say is WOW ...this might be my favorite otome game, if not for the slightly annoying love challenges. That aside, this game is visually stunning and the story is SO much better than their cinderella game. Gave me chills at one point. More importantly, the heroine is strong and hardworking and NOT a stuttering idiot!!! I cannot emphasize enough how refreshing that is. I really hope this company translates more of their games; all of their character designs are absolutely gorgeous and I am looking forward to seeing what other situations the heroine will face next. I honestly cannot stop raving about this game <3

    I love the story

This is by far the best written otome game I've ever played. Seriously, the story and the art is the best, I can't get over how good it is. Some games are hard to get into, they over dramatize the guys or the situations. Despite the historical setting, the game gives you a realistic feeling with the interactions between characters or the internal dialogues. The only thing I dislike is how good the cliffhangers are and how you can't really buy much with the gold they give you. You have to buy with your own money if you want extra stuff, and that's okay. The game is too good and it's worth it.

    This game has changed

I love this game so much, don’t get me wrong, but I really don’t like the new updates. I wish there was still the daily log in bonuses because getting gold is much harder. It now takes me ages to get gold to pass love challenges and getting gacha points is hard too. With the daily log in I could get gacha points, gold, affection tonics, grace perfumes, closet storage, chapter tickets, tea sets, and accessories all for free as long as i committed to playing everyday. Now I’d have to pay to get all of those things or hope I get something really good from perfecting tea time. I have played this game for over 4 years and have restarted many times. My old accounts are gone and getting chapter tickets and those things now are very difficult. I feel that there should be a way to get free coins such as taking surveys or watching ad videos. I also feel like there should be an option to hide your characters face in pictures. It would make me feel more submerged in the game. One more thing I think should be added is being able to change the characters skin color. Thank you for hearing me out.

    Please update the game

Ok so I played this a long time ago but deleted it cause there weren’t that much routes and I just got bored but I recently started playing again and I really like it. Although, not all the characters have routes yet and I really am looking forward to Okubo’s route. Also, I hate how you have to purchase coins in order to get a side story (although the prices aren’t that high which is good) but it’s still really annoying. I also noticed that there aren’t daily gifts or a present box like there is in the other cybrid game. I’m pretty sure cybrid stopped updating this game but I hope you guys do update it soon, it’s one of my favorites

    Like the game but

Update: my account was credited for my purchase. It took a little longer than anticipated but it's done! I still love the game but wish it was easier to earn items needed instead of always needing to make purchases! 4 stars because of the money thing although I will probably spend more on the future lol! I like the game but I am irritated that I made a purchase and have yet to receive my coins. If I do not receive my coins or my money back soon I am uninstalling and posting 1 star to all apps stating that they steal money....should not take this long...will update once issue is resolved.

    Good, but could've been better

I started the game when they stopped doing log in bonuses and that personally kills the game experience. You have to wait in order to get enough gold to advance and get past the avatar challenge, which is nearly impossible. I rely a lot on tea time and super lucky fortunes that are hard to get/do. I have to hoard my items and it's difficult to move on in the game when there is barely anything left (and you're still not even the amount of gold you need to get past avatar challenges). I understand that there is not enough demand for the game to continue those log in bonuses (hence being discontinued), but it would be a lot easier and less discouraging on the players who are still willing to keep going. However, it's not all bad. It's a good game with nice characters and a good experience to work through. I do enjoy the game very much and I completed Haru's route in no time. I love it so much. But, it could've been better the second time through. It gets harder the second time around without the bonuses they give you and the prolonged periods of time to gain the right amount of materials to move on. Destined to wait? Sure. It's good, but it can be way better than what it is right now.

    I love this game, but...

To be clear, this app is definitely staying on my phone. I love the plot and the characters! But I do have some problems with it... Where are the actual events? Did Cybird completely abandon this game? In Ikemen: Sengoku, there's always events coming up/or being released soon (the same with Midnight Cinderella) and with this, there's nothing? And the tea time to earn grace and etc. doesn't seem fair. I can compete against a newbie and they'll still win? It's really unfair. I love Hijikata but tbh, this app's missing some stuff. And I'm wondering if Cybird ever plans on continuing this one. I won't delete it because I've spent money on Hijikata's birthday but I'm a little disappointed in this. In my opinion, Sengoku and Midnight Cinderella really steal the show. I hope they update this one soon, I really do enjoy it. I should've read the reviews before I spent money on this one. If you don't mind waiting and no events compared to the others , this app IS a good one and their personalities differ. I for one, find the Sengoku one much more engaging and interesting.

Not as good as Midnight Cinderella

The characters are not as good as the men in Midnight Cinderella, which is made by the same people. They aren't drawn as well and not as attractive. I have just finished playing one of their events and wasn't able to get even one of the early completion bonuses after spending more than $20 on it. If I were to spend the same amount of money on Midnight Cinderella I would have been able to all of the event completion bonuses. Honestly, if I had at least been able to get one of the bonus items this wouldn't have been a problem. I don't mind spending money on the events as I am sure that is how they make the bulk of their money. However, I refuse to play a version of that game that means spending more than $20 just to end up with nothing. Also, when Midnight Cinderella has an event they do them in 2 parts which means they separate the amount of suitor stories you have to go through to get the prizes. In this one they just piled all 5 of the guys together and don't compensate by giving you enough time to finish. Everything about this game is made to get more money out its customers without actually making it worth the $$$

    Did Cybird abandon this game?

It's like they gave up trying to keep the players interested. Out of the otomes played this one is the most money greedy, which is sad because if they weren't they'd probably make a lot more money. And compared to other otomes you basically have to look up walkthrough to actually get the prizes at the end. Your allowed maybe two wrong choices and then you don't get the ending. I used to love this game but when they brought out Kirisato/Haru before Yukio or Kondo and then didn't continue with other characters I was so disappointed. LIKE WHAT HAPPENED?! WILL THEY EVER RELEASE A NEW CHARACTERS MAIN STORY AGAIN?? WILL THEY TRY TK REENGAGE PLAYERS EVER AGAIN OR NO??? I mean they are not trying to give gamers what they want so no wonder so many people delete or stop playing this game. Wonderful game with an interesting storyline very good characters and art, it's a game with a lot of potential STILL but the creators aren't doing anything with it, only milking money from them like with the "lottery/gachas" and birthday stories. /:

    Destined to wait to advance.

I'm somewhat new to Otome games, but I'm playing about five now and have been for a little over a month, so I have some data for comparison. The concept is interesting and unique. However, once you choose a suitor, there is very limited interaction with others. (At least, that's the scene in Hijikata's story.) I also haven't seen any story events, so there's less exposure and, for me, less interest in starting a new story once I've finished the current one. Maybe I started at a bad time? What really turns me off, however, is the pacing. Tea time is impossibly unproductive unless you shell out in-app purchases to boost your beauty. Have triple the amount of grace as your competition? You are still likely to lose, and changing up your competition only cycles through the same 20 competitors. So any other strategy for tea time is useless. It means I'm finally near the end of my first story, but I had to take a week off of reading the story to do tea time frequently. The result? I kind of forget the story. I get that this is how the games go, but I shouldn't have to wait a week (or pay) to move things along faster so I don't forget. There is some strategic lag with my other games, but nothing like this. So for me, it's a great concept, and the bonus stories do actually seem worth it. But eh. We'll see if I keep on after finishing this story. ATM I'm stuck again for at least three days (or 1500 gold pieces) so perhaps it's time to give it up.
