Been playing Baseball Star for a number of years now and it just doesn’t seem to get old to me. It is great mix of arcade baseball (with some good stats thrown in - only wished that they carried over from season to season but only a minor comment on that), rpg elements regarding getting and upgrading players, and a gacha system. Overall a very enjoyable game. I do have three points that I would like to make regarding the game: 1) A practice or open play mode would have a nice feature so that you could acquire a “feel” for the team you’re using before “having to commit to a team”. 2) Some of throwing routes from the outfield to home are especially quirky to say the least. The outfielder should just hit the cutoff and make the throw home. Annoying at times but again quirky. 3) This one however is something that I hope could be remedied going forward and that is the auto tag up and advance function especially from 2nd base to third. Yes it is true that you can the runner back but 9 times out of 10 the fielder throws in behind the runner and usually you cannot make it back and your runner will be out. This can end a potentially good inning and lose a game over something not within your span of control. The auto tag up feature is okay but it would be helpful if the player had the choice on taking the chance of advancing. Again a very fun and enjoyable experience and I hope to play for many years to come.

This game is real good but a couple things should be changed. First change the umpires voice because I think the umpire voice should be a little bit more American. Be able to have more control with your team and have a bench where they re watching. Different reactions. Whenever you hit a homer or strike out they will do the same reaction every time. Also I do not like the fact sometimes the batter swings misses and throws the bat. I think that is unnecessary and bad because in real life that is very dangerous. In the upgraded stadium when you hit a foul ball you can see clearly that there is no one in the stands. But batting you can see people so have people in the stands when you hit a foul. Have a closing pitcher when the other team is like 1 run away from wining in the last inning. Thank you for reading. Hopefully you can change some stuff!

I have recently fallen in love with Baseball Star again but I think there need to be many things changed here what... 1 More teams: More teams Is more fun I think there should be two whole divisions like AL and NL for a MLB example maybe a league of the current teams and add 9 new ones for another division. 2 Playoffs need to be changed. One of my biggest complaints is the Playoffs they work like this. Top 4 teams make it that's fair a wild card game would be cool but not necessary, 3 Seed and 4 Seed play, what???? Just them two? That's weird. Winner plays 2 seed is semifinals that's kinda dumb. The winner of that goes to play 1 seed in the finals! The one seed gets a buy too the finals that to me is beyond dumb Playus Soft if you're reading this PLEASE CHANGE THE PLAYOFFS 3 to be honest this is just a "Quality of Life" thing but I think there should be more character diversity most players are white men with black hair. Occasionally there is a bigger guy and blond guy or an African American guy. There should be more characteristic like Gingers, Brunettes, Hispanic people, etc with those and more of the other characteristic it should be easier to make newer teams I love this game and I am so excited too see where it goes with enough love this game can be one of the most successful baseball games on the market. This is an amazing game! Once you start playing, its hard not to keep going. However I intend on keeping this short so I will get straight to the problem, which is an easy fix. Many people love this game, like me, therefore when you play a lot, it gets annoying to have to X out of a tab that is asking you if you love the game and if so, review the game. I am okay with it coming up once, and me tapping no, but it comes up after EVERY GAME!! If someone is willing to rate this game, they will do so after the first or second time it comes up. The ads are okay, they come up quite often but I understand every free app has to make their money, which makes sense why there is a "no ads" button for $1.99. I will not have to deal with this review popup now, but for all those who don't want to review, please make a change. Thank you in advance!

I have had this game off and on and I have had a good time. But this time I am taking it more seriously and upgrading players. When doing this I noticed that when I upgraded someone and it completed that it said plus a number next to the thing I upgraded for example I upgraded someone a lot and it says plus 11 next to the power which is 70. So I thought the power is 81 but when I looked at the lineup and clicked on the player there it said the power was 70. So I was wondering if there is something I need to do or if it’s a glitch. Also I noticed that sometimes when a player on the other team catches a ball it sometimes looks like they don’t because it is so far away so I was wonder if you can maybe have players catch a ball less of the time. But overall it’s a fun game and I enjoy it.

There NEEDS to be a screen before batting that you HAVE to touch the screen to start hitting. As soon as you get your third out throwing, batting starts automatically. I often put down my phone after an out to maybe itch my nose or something, and I sometimes forget it was the 3rd pitching out and batting has started. Next thing I know it is 0-2 count with 2 outs. I should have learned better by now, but this is a constant mistake I make that loses me a lot of games. Gameplay wise, this game is phenomenal. Only only other complaints I have are that the player combination RNG, I think it would be much better if it was constant. Also make the other teams better. You might want to change the base running picture, when running and looking at the graph, for some reason you are safe when you touch the outer edge of the base, and when making a decision, you might think you can make it, decide to run confident you will make it. And then out, you forgot you have to touch the corner of the bag. Also the homerun clip plays when the ball doesn’t even go over the wall, and they just get a free score. 1 quick note, there is a weird glitch where the other team’s base runner runs when he isn’t supposed to and ends up on the same bag as their teammate and you can’t throw them out. But yes the gameplay is amazing though. Thank you for producing this game. Keep up the good work

This game is extremely addictive. It does have some glitches that need to be fixed. Another problem is there is only 9 teams, and every teams name is already used in a sports league. If you added 9 more teams there could be 2 divisions and an all star game. Here is some team names; Waves, Rebels, Spartans, Nighthawks, Navigaters and the Pilots. This game also looks like it was ripped off of wii sports. There should be an option to swipe the screen to dodge a wild ball. The logos could be better but don’t really mind them. The playoffs is weird. Because there is no divisions like the mlb there can’t be playoffs. This game is a whole lot of fun it is fun to pitch and to hit but it would be better if you could aim your bunts instead of it being random. This would require WiFi, but if you added a battle mode to play your friends would be awesome. If you could reduce the amount of the infield flys would be great. This game is fun does need improvement

This is a wonderful 3-D Baseball game! I’m addicted and in love with it! I have only one quarrel with it though and that is this situation that has happened on several occasions. I have one/no out(s), a player on first and third, and I hit a fly ball deep enough for my runner on 3rd base to tag and score. When the opposition throws the ball and (sometimes) tries to make a play at home, I will usually attempt to take 2nd base with my runner on 1st. Stay with me, because when the opposition’s catcher throws the ball 2nd base my runner will be called safe...then without doing anything else (not touching the screen, literally just holding my device) it’ll change the call to out. So please change this if at all possible. I love to play an aggressive style of baseball and I can’t do that if the system bugs and call me safe, then out for no reason. But besides that one detail, love the game!

Highly addictive. Fair awards given. Looks great. I only have a couple of suggestions. Some I think affect gameplay and others are just small details. 1. Make it easier to change the lineup. Why do you have two rows of players in the lineup screen if I can’t interchange them? And why in order to change the order in the lineup do I have to substitute then change positions? Is it possible to do a drag and switch option? 2. Better rewards for specific baseball achievements. Example: I pitched a no hitter in my challenge mode game, but didn’t really get any kind of reward for it. I got a player card of o remember correctly but I ended up combining him with another because he wasn’t that good. Didn’t really get a whole lot back in points either but I’m guessing it’s because I only won 1-0 3. Left handed batters helmets. The flap is on the wrong ear. I don’t know if it would be too much to switch the ear flap, but maybe a meet in the middle option would be to just use two flaps on all batters? 4.Grammatical/baseball stat errors. Sometimes the grammar doesn’t suit the former action. Ex: 1 for 3 but singles. It was one hit, not multiple. Or 2 for 3 but strikeouts. Maybe it would be easier to use actual baseball stat grammar? IE K for strikeout, BB for walk, etc.

Edit: Any chance there will be a batting practice and/or home run derby mode? Either or both of those would be a fun addition to the game. Also, a hitting mechanic that takes advantage of the accelerometer to determine bat position would be cool. Does the “control” pitcher attribute have any practical effect? It would be cool if a pitcher with poor control had a control bubble that contracted more quickly. Better control would lead to a slower contracting control bubble, making it easier to pitch. On the UX, I think the walkthrough overlays are confusing (at first I didn’t understand I was in a walkthrough and thought I was playing the game) and the text is, in may cases, way too small to read on a smartphone. As to the translation issues, they are kind of charming (e.g. - “air outs” instead of “pop out” or “fly out”) and do not really take away from the fun or playability. Would be very cool if these game mechanics could be applied to a MLB/MLBPA-licensed game. Original review: The controls and game playing experience are really fun, especially pitching. The concept is reminiscent of the old Baseball Stars game for NES. The UX is awkward and the game is badly translated, but these flaws do not take away from the playability.

Great game, fell in love, couple things that bug me as a ball player, base running issues, when you steal a base, and say it’s a foul ball the runner somehow still ends up on second, not complaining about that but when I had a runner steal home for a lil hit and run action it was a foul ball and the run didn’t count and my runner was no longer on third, so, also I hit a walk off single and had the runners just keep running because the run had already scored so I figured I won, well they got both of the other runners out and said that my run didn’t score so it ended in a draw, and I think hitting needs to be tweaked a little, no reason my hitter with 95 contact and 82 power should barely be hitting the ball, I understand I control him but he’s literally the one guy that doesn’t hit on my team and he has the best stats, I don’t understand it, and after this last update I can’t even open the app without it crashing before getting to home screen so pls fix

It is hard to actually get a good hit or a hit in general. You should make it so if you combine two blue players it is very rare to get a purple from that which is aggravating, I got a purple after trying about 13 times. It is impossible to steal a base and it is annoying on how many runs and possible easy out just get thrown out the window because of useless cut offs. Also I had this game awhile ago but then deleted it and now my team is gone so I had to start over which made me mad because I spent a lot of time working on that team. So now instead of a team full of golds and purples and one red, know it’s all blues some greens and one purple. Base running is too hard and hitting a homerun is too hard to do with multiple people, I don’t expect hitting a homerun every time but it doesn’t happen as often as it should. If you could please fix all of these that would be great.

The title says it all. The game was fun but when I’m beating team 10+ runs to 0 by the 4th inning, I try to make it more challenging by substituting my level 1 players in. I have a stacked team of level 2 and up and the computer is steady at level 1 players and I’m in the major4 league. I mean yes I like to win, but I need a little more of a challenge, my hitter batting average stay above .400 but the computer is at .150 on average. Also, stealing a base should be a lot easier especially when facing a level 1 catcher and you have a level 4 player trying to steal a base. I literally just play the game to kill time but y’all have got to do some upgrades, heck I don’t even care if I even up losing a bunch of games at least it make the game a lot more fun to play. And don’t sent me the generic reply response you’ve been sending every else, actually take these reviews into consideration

I had said this is an enjoyable game app. But the two things that I thought is an issue with in game play, is that when a ball is hit deep(deep to where it is possible for a triple) by a player with 90 plus speed, they should be able to run fast enough for a triple. But they look like they have 70 speed when rounding the bases. My 99 speed players after getting a hit only runs fast, when another player hits the ball for hit. And when a 99 speed player is attempting to steal a base, and is always 90-95% of the time is thrown out by a catcher with less than 65-87% throwing accuracy. That part of the game was never changed, let along the developers wanting to listen what you have to say. The speed issue in this game has always been a problem. But these developers are just like all the others. They don’t do anything, except to collect the revenue from the app. Or the developers have no clue in what this app is all about. Only to know it makes money for them.
