    Quality game

This game is fun, been playing it for about 4 months now I think lol. some say it’s pay to win but honestly it only gets to that point if you’re really competitive, if you’re tying to collect like I am then it’s very enjoyable! and has plenty of monsters to collect. Downsides is that for each monster requires three tributes of the same monster after the first that you’ve gotten. If you evolve it to evo 2 you can’t use previous evolutions of that monster as tributes, you have to evolve each individual tribute to make it a material tribute for the second evo.. it’s tough but it takes time.. it’s a mobile game, what do you expect. cool thing is every day you get awesome prizes in bingo, my advice would be is to play a level in a certain mission, pick whatever monster for team and then click on 20x and it will auto play for 20 levels ina particular level your playing on, so not only are you leveling up as you sleep but feeling up time, when you wake up all you have to do is collect in bingo in one feel swoop without having to wait :) UPDATE. It’s been almost a full year ongoing in this game and I sill love it. You never run out of things to do. you got the Hero fest to prep for and the down fest to prep for. Get a nat5 mon, then you get a festival egg that carries another nat5 mon during Hero’s fest. join a clan and get many perks of being in a clan! I’ll leave it all the rest to u to experience new things!

    It’s actually really good...

I normally don’t give 100% top reviews, but I’ve been playing this game for well over a year and it still hasn’t gotten old. There is always something new being added along with new mons to catch. The art is amazingly good and each creature is wonderfully unique. If there’s one thing I don’t like it’s that the astromon stories don’t entirely make sense out of context as they are. In terms of “pay to play” this is completely inaccurate. You just need patience. In just a few weeks, if you’re in a defense team and so long as you participate in a few titan battles, you could make hundreds of free gems a month. That’s amazing for an app game. It’s just a matter of putting in a tiny bit of time to qualify. Me personally, I also do the monthly upgrade for $2. It’s not a lot out of my wallet and it helps me out with the game, but I certainly could stop and still be set for gems without paying a penny. Gold is. Bit harder to come by, but if you farm for stones and sell them then you’re good to go. Also over time you can build up crystals and gems and exchange for gold. I do wish we could have bigger inventories without paying $27 though. I keep running out of room, haha. But I make due. The rebirth feature is great for offloading unwanted mons and for getting really great new ones. Capture festivals are fun as are rebirth festivals. All in all, a great game to kill some time.

Fun for both active and idle play

If you’re like me and you have a hard time sitting down and playing games for a long time you still can have fun with this game. Just getting the daily things and upgrading your Astromon’s. But the game also really shines when you can just sit down for an hour or two and just have fun progressing the story. I like collecting things and upgrading things but I also like the randomness of a gacha so I really love how this game incorporates it all. Places have a good chance of certain types popping up so if you want those go there but when you hatch an egg it’s always a surprise. And it seems like levels and gems matter more than the actual stars of a unit so if you find a low rank unit you really love as long as you keep them leveled up the same as the higher ranking ones then they’ll still be viable. Of course you still are able to evolve units to make them match the other rank units as well but you don’t have to throw something away just because you got something better which I really love. I suggest this game to anyone who wants to play it. It’s a decent bit like Pokémon but still it’s own thing. Kudos to the developers for making a fun game that was exactly what I was wanting all in one. A Pokémon like game and a gacha game.

I’m gonna try to word this better

So I'm using an iPhone, there was an update made to fix the crashing when summoning. But for some reason the crashing has spread to everything else. I can’t play the game without it crashing and I feel like it’s really hard to enjoy this game again. I love playing it it’s really fun, but it’s not fun that I can’t play the game. I thought that it would work if I turned my phone on and off again cause sometimes it’s just that? It didn’t help that now I can’t even play the dungeon without it crashing before the second round begins. If it comes down to uninstalling then re installing the app I will be very sad because of how much time it’ll waste just to do this ****EDIT: I am not happy. Honestly I was willing to give it a second chance. But even after uninstalling then re installing the game the crashing persisted. It makes this game very in enjoyable especially when you are trying to finish just the daily quest let alone anything else. I’m gonna keep the rating back down to two stars. Also I do not see how sending a link in the ratings after reading a problem will help. I use an iPhone and I can’t just tap a link if you respond to my rating I have to get on a separate device and type in the link.

    My Fav Game!

I’m a casual player, but I do love this game so much. For one, it spent keep showing me special “offers” every time I open the map (ahem, Summoners War). And, I haven’t felt the *need* to spend money on this game to progress or get better mons or anything. I mean, to become a top player, yeah you might need to spend some money, but idc about that in any way, shape, or form. However, I have spent maybe $20 on this game over the last 3 years just because I love it so much. That was PURELY my decision though — the game didn’t pressure me or anything like that and that’s precisely why I love MSL so much. They’re like “here’s some purchases if you want to make some, but we’re not gonna tell you what to do.” I also love how MSL is different from a lot of games like it by allowing you to catch your Astromon, as well as by summoning. I mean it’s so cool that I even kinda prefer it to my Pokémon games tbh. I’ve recommended it to all my friends and stuff and I just have so much fun playing it ❤️ Edit: there are some things I’m not too fond of in the game, but I won’t complain about them here because tbh I understand why those are the way they are and it seems silly to complain about something if I can’t figure out a better way to do it myself.

    Favorite Game

Honestly one of my favorite phone games. I’ve been playing for a while now and I’m 100% addicted. It’s just fun playing to level up your monsters and then use them in PVP battles or clan battles. The game is so nice to you too; always giving you tons of energy so you can keep playing, gives money to you, makes it easy to get gems (which help you buy monsters usually) and the events it gives are always helpful and fun. There are things you can buy that help you out TONS so it can be play-to-win but you honestly don’t need it. If you play just a little everyday or even every now and then you’ll get super strong. I’ve recommended this game to my friends and we all play it now XD The only annoying thing about the game is leveling up gems. It’s kind of a chance thing so you could fail upgrading a gem and you have to pay again to try to upgrade the gem. It might just be me but I have awful luck when upgrading gems and I lose money so quickly from that. Other than that 9/10 would recommend!

I'm giving it 5 stars even tho It's crashing

Honestly I'm giving this 5 stars because it's a good game however I've noticed that the game crashes a lot now in the battles and when I'm hatching a egg and if I'm just on my airship I'm not sure why it started doing it but I've not done anything to my settings in the game and it's getting annoying when it crashes when I'm in a battle cuz then I have to try to fight the battle again and usually it does it again if I try to get back on the battles. If you could try to fix this I'd be greatly appreciated because I truthfully enjoy this game 😄😄. And personally I like the way the monsters evolve they're really cool looking and in my opinion these monsters are like Pokémon since they both evolve and usually if you want to keep your Pokémon small and cute you usually don't evolve it but you should cuz they need to grow and get stronger P.s y'all have personally done a good job on this game I really really enjoy playing so thanks for all the hard work y'all've done

This game has some issue so

First of all, wow this game is devouring my life lol- I want every astromon in the game! I kinda find it dumb that gleems can o my evolve first state mons. There are also the catch rates, can you up them by like 1%? Its similar to summoners war by com2us but the key differences are that you can do specific kinds of different summons, and its 150 'gems' cheaper to summon 11. When it says 5* rate up for so and so or festival or something, what's that supposed to mean when you buy a ticket? It doesn't do anything but act like a free summon. It should boost your chances of getting a 5*, I think at least. I'm sorry for the long rant, but the character designs are cute and cool, but it's just me noticing this in most games I play that are rng based, all the women characters have big boobs which kinda bugs me, why do all the final evolutions for women/girl mons need big boobs? And if you want to for example make horan's busty-ish outfit look less busty, you need to super evolve or buy a costume. Just my thoughts, other then that it's a good game.

Just a fun game to pass the time

I’ve been playing for at least 2 years now and game is very enjoyable for me and me and a friend got more people into it and we now run a clan. The game is fun, challenging and satisfying to beat. Really only pay to win mechanics are for people who wanna be super competitive, me myself I have spent maybe $10 on this game for bonus stuff to help me level up characters and that $10 was literally spent a month ago other than that I’ve been 100% f2p and have loads of characters. My only real feed back issue is the character that you can use to help evolve all astromon called holy gleem should be allowed to help you fully evolve an astromon considering unless you buy them you can only get maybe 3 a month or reduce evolve requirement for 5 star characters requirement of 3 regular astromon to make it evolve to second evolution and 3rd evolution only require 1 that’s in second evolution for 3rd evolution.

    Overall great game

This game is addicting if you play these times of games. The characters are super cute and the game is very easy. One thing I don’t think is that great is upgrading gems. While I understand the more you upgrade them the harder it gets for them to be upgraded, it blows through gold very fast. It took 50 turns to get from gem level 12 to 13 and then attempted to get to 14 before I ran out of gold. There has to be some type of way to increase the chance of upgrading a gem (if there is I apologize, but I have not discovered one). I think the game is very generous with players who don’t want to pay but at the same time it’s not. If you want to get a cooler airship it’s over $40... for a virtual ship, it’s not a necessity but that’s a little steep for a game. I appreciate how easy the game is but there comes a point when you can’t progress as well because you need to level and upgrade your characters but you can’t. The game is amazing overall, but there’s just a few things that make it a little more difficult to play for free.

    Game as a whole

I love the game, it’s cute, it’s fun and has a lot of potential. I like the combination between animals, mythical creatures, fairytales and legends within the astromon that are in the game itself. I have a problem with Exotics that show up however, I don’t like the fact that they only last for 12 days and they just never seem to come back like... ever. They just straight up disappear and some people may not have finally evolved it and are possibly only on their second level of evolution or even caught one at all. And the levels, I love the different modes however when getting to the third region, it starts to become a challenge to level up to the astromon’s maximum level and you soon realize that the astromon you are battling with are a much higher level than expected in extreme mode. Overall, I like the game as a whole and it’s very fun to play against other players of the game whilst also completing quests within the regions of Latecia and having extra challenges with useful properties.

Fun, but only if you’re rich or patient

This game has the potential to be a delightful answer to those of us who’ve been calling for a different kind of Pokémon-style RPG for so very long now. The vaguely-titled Monster Super League has no illusions about the models and ideas it’s adapted from other more well-known games. (I’m looking at you, Ponyta-wannabe ‘Bron’) The good vs. evil trope isn’t even very uniquely presented here, but the game provides enough consistent surprising self-awareness that you’ll let the story slide. Where it really irks me, though, is the particular level of greed in this pay-to-play model. Upgrading ‘equipment’ (aka gems) costs in-game gold. Leveling-up your mon? Gotta pay the troll toll. Hatching an egg? Pony-up. Naturally, just basic play leaves you broke very quickly, despite low-level pity gifts from the devs. If you’re hooked enough to even consider dropping real actual money into this game, be prepared to be asked for $40 and $80 currency and material packs; there’s no "unlocking the pro version to be had". Don’t be naive, this isn’t a passion project from some indie studio, this is an amalgamation of several legacy titles who’ve done it better, but because this is on a mobile platform and those other developers haven’t committed to the medium yet, this will sell.

    Rich Game but Poor Execution

This game could be so much more based on how great the core game play and graphics are. The only things hindering it in my opinion are awful roll rates and expensive paid packages that don't guarantee anything cool/decent (besides currency to gamble with.) I have legitimately never rolled a single rare character despite having had the game for months. It simply doesn't keep me invested in it enough to continuously play and roll for new monsters. I really love the characters and animations that this Monster Super League provides (and the tongue-in-cheek catch system using casino chips) but what keeps me at bay is the cost of everything. I'd feel more inclined to make a purchase if I had a decent chance of receiving better characters from roll rates based on free-play but, as it stands I can't really justify buying much nor can I see myself playing the game enough to really get better. Continuous roadblocks in an otherwise polished and lovable game. The humor is good, the animation is strong, and the character design is incredibly solid; I just wish that it was more leveled out.

I’m almost about to had it

Just now, I had to use my weaker astromons to take down Titan with low HP. Then on to the next mons, I’m using my best astromons to deal maximum damage my mons to deal with the Titan and then it crashes. It ALWAYS crashes when using the second team/sword. Rarely it crashed the first sword I used, but second, you may have a chance about maybe 75% chance of crashing. You know what is the worst part about it? Once it crashes, the damage you dealt against the Titan doesn’t count toward it and you still lose your sword for it. Thanks, for the effort of my best astromons, it’s all in vain. What’s funny is that when you used up the clue against Lupin, when fighting, the game crashed, but the clue is still there. Sure, the damage you’ve dealt against Lupin doesn’t count toward it, but the clues is still there as if you didn’t fight it yet. Why not do the same thing with the Titan battle?! I was this close to giving this game a one star because they haven’t fix this issues for quite a long time. But I do love this game, I want to support it and keep playing it, the battle system is great, the custom options for your mons is awesome, and so many to catch, just that the constant crashing I’ve had with the Titan battles keep irritating me and made me consider uninstalling the game. I don’t want to have to tell my clans that I’m leaving again.
