What Players are Saying
“I like being able to play Euchre again. It’s something I enjoyed in school but, now live in a part of the country where few people are familiar with the game.”
“I love how I am able to play with my friends, and I really enjoy the user-friendly interface.”
“Awesome app! So nice to have a quality euchre game on my phone!”
“Really nice game with great layout and user face. You can play with AI or random users, friends, and even set up games.”
“Easy to see the cards on the screen – that’s important. Also AI plays well and is not idiotic like many Euchre AI’s.”
Few changes
Euchre is my all time favorite card game. I love playing it and love the dynamics of the game. But for this game, I recently keep getting a pop up saying that I disconnected causing me to either pass or miss out on a loner because it automatically plays the highest suite. I have great internet so that’s not the issue. It didn’t happen when I first installed. So I’m not sure what the new issue is. Also the shuffling system is really annoying I get garbage cards multiple times in a row sometimes the same cards or very close to it. Other then that I love this game don’t even care about the ads. Still giving a 5 star. Best euchre game in the App Store.
Well done
I’ve played a few card game apps. This one is great. Smooth gameplay, lots of customizable options, easy to play with friends or strangers, and the graphics are easy on the eyes. The ads are bearable too. Overall, it’s a well done application.
Great app for staying connected during this pandemic.
App has built in video/audio. Great for playing with far away friends or even the person quarantined upstairs! Thank you to Trickster for making this lock down more bearable.
Fantastic gameplay! Exactly how we play it...
Has options for all the ways we play euchre as friends and family - including the common shortcuts one would typically use! “Farmers” - ie going down under “Stick the dealer” No trump!
Finally!
A fantastic app for all those times I can’t get a few friends together to play for real. This is the one app I always make sure I have because it’s so much fun and entertaining.
Good functionality, shuffle algorithm is a little off
It’s a fine game that works well, but they need to figure out their shuffle algorithm. It’s very all or nothing. I’ve played cards my whole life and it’s impossible to either be that hot or that cold all of the time. It makes the game a little frustrating. Other than that, very good app.
Figure out the shuffling
I love it except I can’t be cold for a whole day. Could be chance but my cards could actually repeat themselves and I can go a without one good deal in a game. It is strange. Another thing is that sometimes the sequence of who deals gets out of sequence.
Fun!
The app is great fun. I was going to give it 5 then saw some of the other review about the shuffling algorithms. I have wondered about the hot/cold hands myself. I’ll get several games where I can’t make a play or I’m the shark on the board. Never happens when playing Euchre with a real deck. Other than that, great fun.

Over all been great up until recently. When the ads come on it goes to a white screen like its loading the ad and just stays on a white screen and I cannot close it either unless I restart my iPhone.
Best Card Game
Played euchre all my life. This app has literally been my go to day and night during this quarantine. So many options, something for everyone. Also play Trickster Hearts and Trickster Spades. Thank you!
Not bad but has faults
So far the game is pretty good but has one serious fault. It does not allow for defensive calls. There are occasions when you would like to call Trump as a defensive move. Example the score is 6 to 9 (my team) and your opponent dealt and a jacket is up. If you have none of that suit in your hand you would consider calling Trump and giving up two points rather than risk losing four. This game does not allow you to call trump when you have none in your hand. This is a major fault.
Doesn’t always recognize “Go under” hands
In the last 42 games I’ve played in Practice Mode, 5 had 3 cards 10 and under and 2 had 4 cards 10 and under, but I was not given the choice to “go under,” only bid or pass. The algorithm did recognize some other instances of my holding low cards and gave me the go under choice. How is that even possible?? How can whatever programming is used for the game “miss” or “not recognize” a hand that had three 9’s, one 10 and one Jack?
Three stars
Three stars because 1. Sound plays from ads even though I have app sound off (I shouldn’t have to turn all sound on phone off to avoid sounds when opening app), and 2. When playing practice rounds some of the programmed plays are dubious. Slightly annoying. Game play is very good, though, when playing with real people.
Lots of Room for Improvement
This is a nice platform to play Euchre with friends remotely. However, don’t bother playing in Practice mode against computer opponents. Your hands will be predictably lousy, your AI partner will do idiotic things at the worst time and your AI opponents will play together as if they are telepathic. Very frustrating. If you’re looking for a stand-alone euchre game, look elsewhere.
