This game is so much fun-it's the only one I allow myself to play! Only one thing, though. There's a Mobil1 ad that comes up before/after the game that will not delete when you X it out. I have to leave the app, clear my background screens first and then reopen the app to start a new game. No other advertisers get away with this.....?

I love this game!!! It seems to just keep going until you can’t move. The highest tile I got is the 4096 (and I’ve had this app for a month)! And now I’m working on on the 8182 tile. The adds are a little excessive though, but I totally recommend this game to help enhance your strategic thinking because you have to fit the right tiles together to get the next tile.

2048 is so much the best I love it because you could just keep going but if you fill in the hole board and there’s no numbers that you can swap you can’t win you lose I know how annoying that is but this game I just can’t stop playing it I asked my dad if you know where my iPad is because I want to show him how good this game is

It’s a bit addictive! Sometimes I have to delete it from my phone but I always put it back again. Love that it helps me think strategically about how each move affects the other. Getting 2048 becomes quick and easy....it’s getting 4096 that becomes the challenge. For now...

Great game! Amazing graphics and you can swipe very fast. One thing that I think could be improved is that it could be linked to Game Center. That way my friends can compete for high scores. Also, we should be able to do undos for more than one move. It is really fun though.

It’s a great game to whip out on a car trip. I’ve played the game maybe ten hours over the past couple of months and just got 8192. I like how it is a lot about strategy especially since you can undo to manipulate rng which is very balanced. Definitely recommend

This game is very well designed and as smooth as can be. There are no issues. (I’m glad I ignored negative reviews, there is nothing wrong with this game.) I like this better than Threes. It’s challenging but not frustrating at all. Very fun. I haven’t gotten super far yet, but I know I will at some point! I like that it saves your progress at all times, so if you have to close the app you can continue later. This is a must for busy people. Everything about it is well done. I immediately paid to remove ads. There are no other IAPSs. This a great game by a great developer. Thank you!

A lot of nice quality of life features! Make sure to check out all the options by pressing the big 2048 button. Best of all: no annoying little add banners that interrupt music or podcasts you have going on in the background.

Overall, I love this app. Not a lot of iOS apps have the original game’s 10% 4 spawn rate, and the game runs really smoothly. However, I do have two big issues with it. The first is the fact that there is no indication at the game over screen as to whether or not the undo button was used. I’m in a 2048 Discord server where we host tournaments and the rankings are based on the sum of your top legitimate scores, and without being able to see if the undo button was used it is very difficult to see if a score was faked or not, since you can simply toggle the undo off before you die and it will not appear on the game over screen. I feel that it would be better if there was a counter at the game over screen showing how many times the undo button was used over the entire run, regardless of whether or not it is toggled on at the end of the run. My second issue is that I fel that the app is much too sensitive to swipes. I have had this app register a literal tap as a swipe before, even though my finger barely moved at all. This can benefit players who are trying to get a faster time, but I have had games ruined because the app registered a swipe up when there was none. At the very least I think there should be a feature that allows players to adjust the swipe sensitivity to guard against these accidental swipes.

I LOVE this game so so much. It's super relaxing and very addicting😂. However, the adds are a little annoying. I don't really like how you have to pay actual money just to get rid of those adds. Otherwise, i really do think this game is very very good, I definently recommend it (as long as adds dont annoy you).

A slightly diagonal swipe can get interpreted as a different direction than you meant. The game needs to wait for a little bit longer swipe before moving the tiles. I've played several 2048 games, and this is the only one that misinterpreted swipes. I played this game once, up to 256, and it had already misinterpreted 2 swipes. Forget it, that's way too twitchy swipe detection for this kind of game. UPDATE: the developer says I was touching the screen with multiple fingers, and to turn off the “extended swipe” feature. But I wasn’t touching with multiple fingers. I reinstalled the game and turned off extended swipe. The game still interprets even super-slight movement of my ONE fingertip as a full swipe. It’s still way too sensitive and interprets touch input before there’s enough input to accurately identify the overall direction of the swipe. I’m using an iPhone 6.

The game was great. I liked the colors on this better than others. Previously, the ads were bearable. They claim that the update didn’t add more ads — maybe they think that’s true, but the ads that existed before generally to upgrade the game. Occasionally there would be ads for other games. Now, there’s ads for all kinds of annoying stuff — one even tried to get me to turn on my location for 2048. The location of the close ad button has changed. It used to be in the upper right corner consistently. Now, the close area unpredictability changes. More often than not, the click target is small. Both of these issues leads to accessibility clicking the ad. The trickery is unacceptable. I’ve deleted this game from my phone

Heya! I mostly like this game. MOSTLY. Why you ask? I don’t know, maybe because it’s basically useless to play? So... I was playing, and the got off and came back in like an hour. My progress was lost! Not the stats ( who even cares about them? ). I was on like 4096 and more, but it bought me to when I didn’t have a single 2048. It happens wayyy too often now. Also, it’s getting very very boring. It’s fun for about a month ( when you are still a noob ) but then you just run out of goals... so yeah... add stuff!!! Why not??? We’re all literally locked down! I don’t know if I would recommend this. It’s boring, as I already said.

Swipe detection is flawed, as it’s been for years. In other words, sometimes when you swipe one way with your finger, the tiles slide a different direction. And it happens fairly frequently. And you can only undo one step, so if you’re playing fast and you swipe twice before realizing the game behaved incorrectly, you’re screwed. No, I’m not kidding. The game is THAT incompetent. Can you think of another game that has FREQUENT errors like this? It’s disgraceful. And there’s only one step of undo. I think the programmer needs to admit that they are too incompetent to implement the swipe detection properly, so the only way to salvage the game is to give more steps of undo to fix the game’s frequent errors. Imagine how frustrating it is to get to a high score and then have the game ruined by the buggy swipe. Do yourself a favor and choose a different version of this game.
