    Best TD

Best tower defense game I’ve ever played. Specially if your tired of monkeys

    Worth your Time absolutely

OTTTD is by all means a tower defense that has taken itself in play style similar to sanctum2 as you are not only just placing down towers but also you can control a three man squad thus adding even more depth into this tower defense, at first I thought this game was going to seriously disappointment like all the other so-called tower defense games out there in the IOS market. Gameplay is not slow nor dull it is somewhat fast paced as the enemies that spawn attack both the towers and your squadmates. Honestly this game even outclasses SAS: Zombie Assault tower defense since your no longer confined to a heads up display, the soldiers can be moved and they have their own special abilities such as berserk which doubles damage for your assault unit or the saboteur's crippling ability that immobilizes enemies from attack nor moving for a short time. Definitely worth that $7 dollar price tag.

So good, it could be a console game!

OTTTD is an amazing game, the genre is a RTS / TD which at first seems like a bad genre but turns out to be the best combination ever. Although you can have a maximum of three characters only, you can dominate with just 2 characters. For example, my Rocketeer has an amazing combo; Inciderary Gibs + Acupuncher = The most fire damage you could dream with just one shot. The Saboteur and Scientist are real game changers! When your scientist dies, and if you have the right ability, it makes an autonomous clone that usually KILLS. Anyways back to gameplay. At first it only seems like you can make just 4 towers, but in reality, you can build (this is discluding upgrades) 12! These towers can interact with your characters in several ways like doing impact damage helping your assault class deal with energy immune aliens or giving you bombadier a shield. So I'll end my review here.

    Tower Defense Amazingness!

Great game. Challenging, but not so much as to become frustrated. This is one of the best tower defense games I have ever played. The graphics are smooth and are beautiful in a way that is appropriate for iOS (and great on the iPad Air, at least). I really like how they added some moveable characters that provide an interesting change up from just static towers (they each have special attributes that you can choose to focus on to maximize teamwork). I love the characters and the dynamics that have been given to the towers, enemies and such characters. I got this game on promotion, but would gladly pay $5+ for this game (I'm usually pretty stingy with apps). Will have to see how the in-app purchasing goes as I progress through the game, though...

    Awesome 5 star defense

It sure took them long enough to fix the crashing, but they finally did. I've been playing for hours testing out the same scenarios that previously resulted in a crash, but no crash this time. Whew! The addition of endless is great. Would've been better to have endless with existing maso, but the 5 new ones just for that are nice. Only tried first 3 so far. This TD game is tough. Not at first, but it gets very difficult in later stages. Especially the newest ad on maps for the campaign. I'm not complaining though. A good challenge is what makes a game stand out. This is a real top 5 TD game.

    Fun times

Good game. Spent a couple weeks blowing stuff up. Some suggestions for future updates: a way to reset your hero's skill points would be nice. I certainly spent some on the wrong ones. Next would be displaying what a locked skill does so you know whether or not it's worth going up the skill tree for. Finally a damage per second stat would be helpful. Its hard to discern which tower upgrades are worth it since some might have a slower rate of fire but a high damage output. Seeing numbers would help. Anyway thanks for the fun game.

    Fun TD

First of all I love the look of this game. It has a very cool art style with the destroyed enemies body parts being left strewn over the battlefield. Can get kind of difficult later on but I have yet to spend any other money than my original purchase. Well worth the 3 dollars if you enjoy tower defense games. Multiple heroes that you level up with skill points and 4 different style towers with branching paths. It plays a lot like Kingdom Rush which as any TD fan knows is a great game to be compared to.

    Great concept, but very difficult

Please don't get me wrong, the game is great. But, at least for me, there is a rather steep learning curve. I've had to play lower levels several times to grind my heroes up to a level where they can take the next level. That said, I haven't seen another TD game that takes this same approach. While it took me a while to get used to how the game plays, I'm really enjoying it now. Definitely one of the most unique TD games I've ever played. Very nice breath of fresh air in a saturated game market on iOS!

    Fun game, annoying bugs

I enjoy this game quite a bit. I just recently bought it for my iPad, and when I use the "bad potion" special skill with the scientist character, about half the time the app quits immediately. It's very frustrating, and it's making an otherwise fun game rather less fun to play. I would give it five stars if not for this problem. Still enjoying it overall, but it just crashed on wave 8 of 9 on the last level. That's a lot of wasted time.

    Turns into a Grind...

I was hopeful after the latest update that allowed a new free armor that increased your gold after missions but the bonus was so small that it still became a grind for the overly expensive gear and weapons to update your "warriors" I am downrating because I had to pay for the game and am now pretty much stuck and being forced to P2P. You'll get 34 missions into it and it will become extremely hard to play at that point. I pick it up when I'm bored and "grind" away at getting gold but I keep it in hopes they will make additional changes or add another character to the game. It's still worth the money but it will leave you annoyed that you can not finish unless you spend $$

    It “was” good

I used to play this game but I deleted it a long time ago and I reinstalled it now but I didn’t get the same fun I did before. I can’t really play the game because every time the mobile HQ lands it ruins the whole ground turning it into a metal background or whatever and the mission selected is messed up. Is there any way I could get help? Is it my game or my device?

Decent but buggy and not updated in ages

Decent game but buggy and crashes sometime. Hasn't been updated in ages.

    Absolutely fantastic!

This game is instantly fun and I really love playing! Skill trees and upgrading us always always a good feature in my book. Love the heroes' voices and the graphics are very smooth and extremely well done. I do think that armor should've definitely been something in an original version of the game however. The first 8 or 9 levels are very enjoyable but then the difficulty curve gets very very steep. Here's where the issue comes in. I can replay levels for days upon days and finally be able to beat the next level only to discover that I have to go through the same process if I want to proceed through the game. There is a way to avoid this though. Spend a fortune. Oh! Great! More IAP! Taking away the game part of gaming! Seriously this bullcrap has to stop. Games have become nothing but money machines for game companies. Yes this is no "any EA game", but it's still pretty significant. I already paid $3 for this. Cut the freemium crap and let me play a game already.

    Crashtastic

Love everything about the game.... But you can make the best game in the world and it wouldn't even matter if you just can't play it. I started counting the amount of crashes I'm getting and I'm now up to 19 crashes when I get so far into a stage. I had plenty of crashes before I started counting as well. It only take 3 crashes to ruin a gaming experience and after that playing seems more of a task than it being fun. When you buy a game in the store that don't work, you can return it... But we are stuck with a game that crashes consistently and always crashes on stage 17. Selling us a game that don't completely works is kind of like stealing our money, don't you think.
