Really amazing to play.

Great-looking interface, although the Othello app looks slightly better. Levels of play are appropriate. I like that this app has suggeted allowed areas of play, as represented by dots. Othello is my favorite board game, ever since childhood. It is easy to play, but gives enough challenges to make it a good thinking game too. I am trying to learn Go, but can not find a good app with a tutorial for it. It seems like Othello is a basic version of Go. So far, I still prefer Othello, and this app makes playing the game very addicting and is very professional, unlike most Go game apps. I wish somebody would make a Go game app, that is similar in quality to this app. Perhaps the developers of this app would consider making a Go game app version of this app? Great job with this app!

Reversi (aka "Othello") has always been one of my favorite board games that make you "think". Optime has done a wonderful job of bringing this app to iPad in a straightforward format that is user-friendly, with enough user preferences to challenge any skill level. Thanks Optime.

The game is fine and it doesn’t cheat like others are claiming. It only takes more than one move when you have no legal moves. You can do the same if you outmaneuver the computer. A popup saying 'you have no legal moves, must pass to computer' would fix the confusion. My only complaint is it’s not that hard to beat at the hardest difficulty.

Fun game once you get the hang of it... but in the last four games I have played, the computer keeps taking three turns in a row towards the end of the game, which turns half your pieces over and makes you lose, even if you were way ahead. I even tried to undo my last moves a few times and it did it over and over. Oh well, it was a fun 10 minutes.

The gameplay is great but first of all it doesn't let you change pieces colors to something other than black and white and it has a gameplay flaw too. It during two player game made the black piece use five moves in a row without giving the white pieces a move. That's not a fair othello. This game has potential if those two flaws are repaired

I hate this game. Actually I like it, just find that playing solo against the computer you're at an unfair advantage. It takes multiple turns in a row (especially towards the end) and only allows you moves that are to its benefit. Then it goes and takes some choice spots and flips all your pieces. Grrrrrrr!! In the beginning it was fun but now it's just darn frustrating!

You always lose the game when you play. When you are learning how to play a new game you should at least be able to win once or twice. Not worth playing if I can’t win occasionally.

ABSOLUTELY FIXED!!! I’m deleting it immediately. You’d be LUCKY to get a tie. If I could give it zero stars I would.
