The game has the best graphics. However it has a two big problems. If you leave the game several times, you are penalized. However, if you disconect from the game, without leaving it, you are not penalized but you make the other players loose a minute of their time before you get booted from the game. As a consequence, many players just disconect and make the other players lose time. The other problem is that the cards are rigged. They are not dealt randomly like in the real life. This produces many hands that statistically have very low probability of happening occurring very often. Like a hand of 8 same of a kind.

The game is great but there’s an incredibly annoying flaw that ruins many many games. There are two ways to leave a game early, hitting the hidden LEAVE TABLE button, which exists you immediately, or just swiping out of the app, which is easier but results in a lengthy wait for the game to exit you and continue. With no penalty for leaving the second way, it happens every game and combined with the frequently sloooow players contributes to ruin the game. Please put the LEAVE button on the main screen and penalize people 10-15 points for leaving incorrectly.

I play this game any time I have time to kill like sitting in the doctor's office or on the throne. I've played thousands of games and have a win rate of 68.9%. I find you have to "shoot the moon " quite often if you expect to win so hold for that any time you think you have a chance. Enjoy! One change I would like to see is that you could see the scores all the time. I find myself going back to look at the scores several times during a game. It would save a lot of time if you could see the scores from the playing screen.

In single player mode, I just caught one of the AI players cheating. I count the spades and, after the Queen was played, I took a trick with a heart to foreclose a moonshot. By my count, there were still two spades unaccounted for, so I led the 2 of spades, expecting one of the AI players to take the trick. No other spade was played. However, in the auto play at the end of the hand, the last two spades came out. The rules say a player must follow suit if possible. In this case that didn’t happen. I’d suspected this game of cheating before, but this is the first time I caught it red handed.

This is a quality Hearts game and is the best among the several iOS Hearts games offered in the apps store. The upgrades put this game over the top. It is still a bit too easy to make card selection errors imo with my clumsy fingers. That makes me play more slowly and carefully, but I like a faster gameplay. That is the only aspect where other Hearts games are better. Improve the ease of picking and playing a card and I will gladly give this game its due 5 stars.

Please figure this app out and make the players play like normal players would play. Also when you ask for feedback, make it available to comment and not just ask for a star rating and then choose a preselected reason. The computer players do not play to prolong the game by trying to give points to the player with the least amount of points. They blindly follow whatever they’re programmed to do without respect to the score.

A great way to pass the time but not quite as satisfying as playing with others in real life. I don't care for the three levels of expertise however as lower levels of competitors lead me to believe that mistakes in playing are deliberate or the cards dealt are not random. Where's the fun in that? Sure would like input from the creators of the game. How about contract Hearts, like contract Bridge??

I like this game but as others have said, in single player mode you are definitely ganged up on by the AI players. They always pass you the queen of spades and then all lead a low spade until you are forced to eat the queen. I would expect this to happen once in a while but it’s like 80% of the time. Also, I swear there is a bug with the scoring because sometimes I will play a good hand avoiding the queen of spades and maybe taking a couple of hearts, but somehow end up with 18 points? You can’t view the tricks you’ve taken so I don’t know how I ended up with that many, but you definitely have to take the queen to get that many and in those cases I’m sure I didn’t take that queen. So it can be confusing and frustrating at times.

Many positive reviews, I get it, but you put it on the hardest difficulty and game after game it’s the same thing. I build up a big lead, like 50-60 points, often times more. Then, without fail, it just starts feeding you absolute crap cards. Game after game, you get high spades with few, if any low to mid-range spades to protect against the queen. And it gives you a lot of clubs and diamonds so you can’t go void in any suit in order to dump the queen or the high spades on someone else. This happens just about every game! Way more frequently than it should be if it was all truly random. I think the game is programmed to keep it close, especially near the end. It’s not random. It’s just not.

This publishers Spades game is fantastic !! This game “ Hearts “ is terrible !! I played 50 games on all 3 difficulties . On easy setting, I won the fewest games. While I love a challenge a novice just trying to learn the game is going to throw this game away. The A.I. Knows your cards . Play it enough , you’ll see what I mean. It’s not intuitive, it’s clear by the sheer amount of times That it throws the worst card for you at the worst time . 9/10 games it will do this. The simplest answer is the easiest , So, it knows your cards. The A.I. Will come after you the real player even if you are loosing where on a real table , every player goes after and typically teams against lowest score to give them time to level the scores and possibly gain the upper hand. I was hopeful for this game but it is wildly unrealistic , poorly tested and not very well thought out in regards to all levels of skill based play. I would say, don’t purchase the no adds version, it’s not worth it for Hearts but Spades is a fantastic game .

To get good hands you must buy tokens, you are booted when a player has not discarded and is holding the game up because they bought tokens and you haven’t. The cards are not randomly dealt ,but the software has been setup to give the player who buys tokens an edge. The hands are no where near realistic, I have played. Hundreds of hands, and seen seven or eight cards from the same suite dealt to a player, a moon shot about every four or five hands. I have seen players make two moon shots in a row. Then if you do make a moon shot you can’t subtract from your total, you must add the points to your opponents total, I have moon shot several times only to lose the game game due to this rule. Of course this rule is in effect so you will burn your tokens up and buy more. I will never buy tokens from these crooked operators.

Playing a rated game with other anonymous players will feed your worst thoughts about others. There is rarely a game where someone doesn't get more points than they'd like in the first or second hand and quit, often just by closing the app which forces other players to wait for a fixed amount of time before the quitter can be booted from the game. Other players will also play very slowly. The choice to limit chat to only a few fixed phrases discourages bullying and harassment, but it also leaves you with no options to express your frustration. I've decided I want to try to believe that people are better than this app allows me to believe they are. I've deleted it and will not be playing anymore.

Wish the rated games had a 100 point limit instead of 50. Too many sore losers quit immediately after taking early points and the AI isn’t that intuitive. In single player the AI follows no algorithm other than play spades until the queen is gone regardless of score. The AI also tends to not have any finesse in mind when playing, often dropping the queen at earliest opportunity even if it means losing the game. This is across all difficulties, and the AI will do next to nothing to stop another AI from shooting the moon, often breaking hearts with an ace or king and never taking the first trick opportunity to prevent a 26 from happening. This has ruined many rated games and allowed players who would have otherwise lost to win.

Don't waste money on this. Computer has 3 players working together on 70% of hands. There are impossible draws. For example in my last game. 2 times I had 8 spades. 1 other player had the other 5, and the other 2 players had all the diamonds. In a random shuffle I could see this once in a blue moon but not as often as it appears here. Also, with a very strong hand, somehow when the computer plays a suit I don't have a 3 will take the trick giving the computer 1 point while I take 25. If you are only playing online multiplayer, this might be a good fit, but not worth paying for.
