    Fixed

The deal is not random. Once you’ve won so many games it starts dealing against you. No way I can have such winning streaks then dive bomb down - for weeks…

      Solid Euchre platform minus....

Love this app and it’s def got a lot to offer. Things I like vs don’t. Like: 1. Quick response and no practically no lag when playing multiplayer games. 2. The rated game option is nice if you aren’t messing around and want a serious game and then the more personalized option with the unrated is nice sometimes too. 3. Easy to play with real friends. 4. Not very glitchy at all. 5. Simple layout. Not distracting and over the top. Do not like: (there’s not much): 1. The 1 time it crashed....in the middle of a rated game with no way to pick back up once I reopened the app. 2. The robot/AI is absolutely ridiculously dumb. It will drive you more insane than that one person you play euchre with in person who doesn’t know what they are doing and you sometimes get stuck being their partner. 3. Booting games. Some people just sit and boot people constantly stay. Annoying. I think they get a high off of it. Best euchre app out there for sure! Highly recommend. Was going to make it four stars but changing to five after writing this and thinking it through!

      Euchre

I was born in Michigan and now live in the south. No one plays this game here(Atlanta). I love that I can play in real time. The reason for 4 stars is I would like to see some changes. First, I would like to see the cards in play at the end of each round. Also avatars, screen upgrades, possibility for a pause between rounds, and a few other tweaks. Update - I gave 5 stars because it IS the best way to play Euchre. Partners best option, more intuitive pairing

Refute to “Named my player MORON” REVIEW

I have only been playing euchre for approximately one year. EUCHRE 3D has been my main learning tool. I am considered a very good player and have been high and score many times in many different location games of 24-76 players. IMHO the reviewer is just plain untruthful. I have referred EUCHRE 3D to at least a dozen other players and all thanked me for how it improved their game and enjoyment.

      Lone Eucher Addict

Absolutely love Eucher and grew up playing it in Michigan where the game is common. I now live in Arizona and haven’t meet a single person whom has even heard of it, so playing this on my iPhone is a blast! Two fun in game modes are “Stick the Dealer” which I am familiar with and “Canadian Loner” which I am new too but is a fun twist. I have written the game manufacture about two other ways we played the game at times, which were “Farmers Hand” in which the dealer could swap out three 9’s or 10’s for the three cards at the bottom of the kitty and also another twist known as “Poker for Point” in which after twice around the table with trump not called the player with the best poker hand would win one point. I personally have achieved most the achievements in this game and would like to see more awards and achievements won more offen.

      Random cards - really?

An addictive game for euchre fans, but the cards simply can't be being dealt randomly. I've verified this: every single time the opposing player needs the one particular unplayed card at the end of a hand to win (unless I'm holding the obvious dominant trump), the player has the card. EVERY SINGLE TIME. Your final leading card a non-trump King of Hearts? Then the last opposing player will have the Ace of Hearts. The first few times you notice it, it's dismaying, but after a while, the incredulity turns into annoyance. They can claim a purely random algorithmic engine til the cows come home, but the results are otherwise.

      AI needs fixed

I would give this five stars but the AI makes wrong plays sometimes. Just finished a game where my AI partner went alone. Instead of playing all his trump cards first to draw out our opponents trump cards he played an off-ace which our opponent trumped. The next card my AI partner played was higher trump card than the one the opponent played to trump his ace. Also many times the AI opponents will throw away an ace during the game and then play a lower numbered card of the same suit in the last trick of the play. Fix these issues and your game will be near perfect.

      Great game, but...

Mostly, I love the game... However, I have a few comments... first, allow 'No Trump' to be called as an option. Second, there are some AI challenges in the single player game. For example, the last AI player for a hand will often trump with their highest trump, including the right bower, when they have other trump cards they could have used. Or, the AI player will throw off a high card of another suit, such as the ace, when not following suit and not trumping.

      From very good to not

Recently the strategy of the players has become sloppy and illogical to the point of losing both hands and deals. For example, if a player has highest and third highest card, why lead with the third highest and have another player take it? If he had lead with the highest, he might have taken the second highest! The most incredible plays are the players calling trump when they are only holding two and one of them is low, Played one game where we set the other team five times in a row! On the whole, we set the other team at least once or twice a game; we might get set once every three or four games. The coding logic seems to have changed...and not for the better! I really enjoy the app! It use to be the only app game that was both challenging and rewarding for smart playing! Now it borders on a massacre with me winning 96% of the game out of over a thousand!! 🙈

Needs real work on rated games

In many ways it's a great app! But I have been playing rated games for months now… (And by the way have played real euchre all my life, more than 50 years.) Two significant problems: one, rated players routinely leave the game early if they are losing. Yes, they still lose the same points as if they had stayed. But they need an extra penalty for leaving. A significant penalty! It destroys the game when someone walks out, just as as it would in real life. Second, your algorithm needs some work. I know cards run in streaks… But this has been ridiculous for weeks now. Almost nothing but nines and tens and queens over and over and over, no matter how many times I play. Not just bad luck… Bad programming. Otherwise it's great!

      Something isn’t right here

There’s something suspicious about the engine running this game and its actual impartiality. Having played over 1000 games I can literally win for -hours- 90%+ win ratio, raise overall score by hundreds of points and then lose 80% + of games over a protracted period, sometimes not getting a called trump for 3-4 games in a row. Exact same playing and call style on my part and similar partner skill level. Whilst everyone goes through winning and losing streaks in live euchre playing, it’s never, ever to this degree. Externally, I win or am in the money in regional euchre tournaments at almost an 80% ratio but have never witnessed erratic cards like these. Something not right so I am officially stopping play of this game.

Good game but multiplayer tokens are odd

I purchased the pro version of this game assuming that it would unlock all the features of the game. Oddly though, they still require you to have “tokens” to play multiplayer. You get 10 to start with and they regenerate over time, but once you’re out, the only way to keep playing online is to purchase more tokens (or wait for another free one). I think it’d be good to include more info about this in the app description. Otherwise, the game is pretty solid. Just sorta weird that the pro version still requires IAPs to use the multiplayer a lot.

      It’s Okay but not perfect.

I like how the rated multiplayer mode quickly puts you with players and you play the whole game. I’ve played some apps that cause you to join in the middle of an already started game and I don’t like that. Playing with friends is also easy to do once you’ve done it a couple of times. When I’m playing with real people it’s very uncanny how much I can predict the 4 card played in the first round based on the first card played. This is true even though I’m playing different people of various ratings. Seems to indicate that the cards dealt are following a pattern and are not truly random. Also the rating function doesn’t always work correctly. For example I just played and won 2 games yet my rating did not go up. It stayed the same. In general it’s fun but can be frustrating. Just haven’t found a better place to play.

Glad to see Euchre, but . . .

As a lifelong euchre player, I was tickled to see the game for the iPad. However, if I were sitting at a table with live players and my partner played like the AI of this game, I'd have to reach across the table and slap him upside the head! Probably slap the opposing players as well for cheating, as I have never, nor could ever conceive, that I could be dealt four-suited so often. In a nutshell, the players hoard trump (and lose tricks as a result) like novices are inclined to do, call trump on ridiculously weak hands, and you seem to be put at a disadvantage by shady dealing. Otherwise, the game can be enjoyable, once you know what you're up against.

      Sooooo Baaaaad

Update: Since I’ve left this bad review, the hands have gone from bad to worse. Nearly every hand has at least three nines and tens. Nearly every hand is four-suited. Because of this, I’ve gone ahead and changed my name in-game to “This is a Bad App” in hopes of getting people to leave bad reviews as well. These developers are terrible if this is what they’re putting out. The cards should be randomized in multiplayer. Spoiler alert: They are not. It’s laughably predictable how bad the cards I get are. And it’s not just one or two hands per game: It’s all but perhaps one or two hands over nearly every game I play. It’s also a near guarantee at this point that when it’s my deal, I will have a terrible hand including some combination of three 9s and 10s, yet the next person will also have a near guarantee to flip up a bower that just happens to match their and their partner’s cards perfectly. Multiplayer is more fixed than wrestling. I could get stack the cards to give myself horrible hands and still not have this many terrible hands in a row.
