Tile Connect - Classic Match Wiki

Not like a typical match game! There are only specific ways to make a match, and it’s often difficult to hunt one down. I’m at level 45, and can’t get through a level anymore without extending my time and/or using some kind of hint. The game is generous in handing out the hints and gold, and it gives you side quests where you can earn even more gold and extras, in addition to the gold and extras you earn when you beat a level. There are other side games you can play to earn even more helps. (Of course, to get the extra extras you have to watch ads, but by now we all know that.) 🤨 I really love this game!! Its much more challenging than other games I’ve seen in the App Store. Give it a try!

UPDATE: Been playing nearly everyday for a month or so now. Decided to up to 5 stars. It really is a good tile match app. Best I’ve tried so far. Ads are minimal. No constant push to spend money though the option is there if you want. Just a great game with easy to learn rules. Perfect for a quick distraction from normal adult life and keeps the mind sharp. Like that the ads are only between levels. Fun side quest options for more of a challenge. Kinda hard at times to select tiles on the large boards with my small phone, but that is no fault of the app. Overall a fun game when I only have time for something quick. Lot to like about this tile matching game. Highly recommend giving it a try.

I downloaded this game because I was bored at first and when I read the reviews saying it was challenging and fun to play,I honestly doubted it was all that. Of course,when I actually downloaded it I literally couldn’t stop playing it lol. It’s not so simple and easy,it’s challenging but in a fun way. At times it can be infuriating,but it’s so fun!! Honestly the thing I love most about this game is the uniqueness and diversity among the tile pictures. Like there’s one entirely for sports and another for numbers and letters. It even has Japanese festival pictures. If anyone is reading these reviews to debate wether or not they want to download this game,download it. You won’t regret it I promise.

This game is fun! Love all the different boards that are available. Actually, it would be perfect...IF AFTER EVERY LEVEL, AFTER ANY PAUSE, IF TIME RUNS DOWN, ETC., ETC., YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO WATCH A 30 SECOND AD!!!!!!! I know that how you make the money for this game but there are times when I have 5 seconds to make a match, but if not, 30 seconds of ad. For every 30 seconds of play, I may be watching 3 minutes of ads with the same ones over, and over, and over, and over. Find a better way

It’s charming and I’m quite happy with your new additions, particularly the socks. 😊. BUT, that said, even though I’m enjoying some of your new mini game challenges, I GREATLY miss the old two-tiered, timed challenges. I looked forward to them with every tableau. I played almost all day yesterday to see if they would pop up until I realized the mini games must be their replacement. That makes me very sad. Can’t you find a way to have them all?

This game is challenging and somewhat addictive. There are aspects of it I do not like at all. I don’t like the excessively long ads that you are forced t to watch to continue. I enjoy playing the party games to gather a few extra stars, but once you’ve played each one 3 times, it’s a long time before there’s another chance. I especially hate the notice that there are no more ads to watch so you can’t get the bonus stars. I have played a lot of games and now the format has changed. I don’t care that someone on the other side of the world did the board faster than me. I want to see how many stars I have and I don’t need the cheesy comments after every game. I only keep playing because I like the matching game.

I am enjoying this game, HOWEVER, I am on the verge of deleting it because of the long ads, 30 second ads. I do not sit through long ads. They insult my intelligence. I can “catch on” to the concept or idea of an ad in 5-10 seconds. Most people are able to “get it” in much less time than 30 second ads. These long ads cause me to immediately leave the game and go to a game with no aggravating long adds. Sitting through 30 seconds of an ad for a Solitaire game (Duh!) is ridiculous. That’s the ad that made me decide to delete this tile connect game and to come to this page to say, goodbye to your delightful game that is RUINED by long ads! 30 second ads send me else where.....to a game with short ads.

I liked the game. Loved the different boards but after 100, it becomes almost impossible to solve because you are working against an exploding bomb and tiles being added in. If you’re out of shuffles, you are screwed-there is no way to solve as game the isn’t fair. It puts matches at opposite sides with almost no matches between them 😡. I would like to see an option to simply play without any time constraints and an option to pass on levels that are so hard that there almost no way to solve!!!! I am going to delete this as I don’t want to throw my device across the room in frustration!!!

While the levels can be challenging from time to time, you run into the same problem that other games have - players forget what the tools are for 20-30 games after they were first introduced, and the only way to figure it out is by using them. There is no help page or call out (like Toon Blast). Also, a major sticking point with Tile Connect is that it seems you have to pay to break open the piggy bank that has all of the coins you worked so long to collect?! Of course you have the coins you have accumulated separate from the bank, but then why are we paying for the other ones we have earned...?

Played for 15 minutes without any problems. That’s when I noticed the button to get to the next level had changed. It now had an icon symbolizing advertisements. Despite it being the first one. I didn’t want to sit through an ad. So I chose to push the word “next” that was below that changed button. Guess what? It still played an advertisement. And from then on, at the end of every level. I have been shown an ad. See ya. It’s sad, the Game seems fun so far. plus it helps strengthen the mind and hand eye coordination. But those ads are too repetitive and frequent. Erased the game

I love this game! I’ve been playing for awhile and even began paying the $5 a month to avoid the pesky ads that usually pop up in these types of games. However, it seems as of today the levels have suddenly become larger, more complex, with less time to complete; which results in having to watch those pesky ads in order to continue on the level, sometimes multiple ads because the time just drains within seconds. It’s too bad really, to spend money to avoid ads, and be forced to watch ads in order to play a once wonderful game that you’ve advanced so far in. Is it a bug? Perhaps. I hope so. In which case I eagerly await the fix and alter my review. Until then, I’m just massively frustrated and disappointed.

This game seemed perfect. It was a fun puzzle game. Ads don’t bother me too much. It’s just the way things are BUT after less than 10 minutes of play I realized I was spending far more times watching ads than p,aging the game. The ads come up every 20seconds. There is no way I’m able to play at all with that CRAZY number of ads! As I said, it seemed like a fun game but frustration with the ads got the better of me and I deleted it. My suggestion would be to increase the time between ads, only do ads between levels or limit the number of ads while in a level to two or three. I’m sorry I had to delete the game but this is just beyond crazy with the ads. If you ever get to a point where there aren’t so many ads I’d love to know and try it out again but this is how a good game is destroyed.

This would be a five star game if you could mute the ads. I won’t play any game that has ads that you can’t mute. I’m trying this one out for a little longer... For some reason, someone thinks that if they force me to listen to and watch some stupid video about My Home Design Dreams without allowing me to turn the volume off, I’m going to be so excited that I’m going to download the game. Y’all fell on your head and got brain damage. I will never ever ever ever EVER download that game and play it. Even if you offer me $100!! Nope!! This would DEFINITELY be a five star game if you could mute every ad. I should be able to listen to my Audible and not be forced to listen to your music. I WILL watch the ad...the first two or three times. NOT a thousand times. NOPE!!!

In the ad I watched to get me to download this game the person seemed to be finding the matching tiles as the board was moving in a sort of a Tetris style. That looked intriguing: Find matches quickly! However the actual game is find two matches. Sounds easy. The trick is to find two matches THE GAME WILL LET YOU MATCH! It won’t let you match two near each other, but you can match two across the board from each other. It seems to indicate that it can’t match around corners but then others can be matched around corners. It seems to be more of a guessing game as far as which ones it will let you match which is more of an exercise in frustration rather than a skill game. Deleting it today.
