Video Manual: How to Use the Poker Dojo App

How does it Work?

Poker newbie or grizzled grinder, it’s time to bow before the sensei at Poker Dojo - a brand new collection of fun poker mini games that will have you ready to take on your local card shark in no time.

Whether you are looking for a fun and satisfying distraction that will help while away a few minutes, or you are serious about learning or sharpening your poker skills, Poker Dojo is a super fun game in its own right.

Based around three fast-paced mini games, Poker Dojo will challenge you to quickly recognise and make strong hands, to make tough value decisions under pressure, and to test your courage when that big all-in decision comes flying at you.

The mini games currently testing your skills are:

Grid Poker

Select five cards on the grid to make a poker hand and score as many points as possible before time runs out! The stronger the hand, the more points you score. You might think it sounds easy, but hand recognition at speed will pay dividends when the chips are down.

Strongest Hand

You’ll face two challenges here: either picking the best hand out of three or rating your hand. in a typical situation, then get bonus points based on the outcome. You will be shown three different hands - either before, during or after the community cards are dealt - and will then have to pick the strongest hand. It doesn’t mean that hand will always win as you never know what the turn or river will bring. That’s poker!

All-in or fold

Fold until you are confident enough in your hand to go all in against an unseen hand. Survive as many all ins as you can! You decide when you think your hand is strong enough to go all-in with, but don’t forget that the clock never stops. Tick tick tick!
