    I have been transported,

To another world of Might and Magic. Where the elements of nature have become weapons for good and evil, the undead fight as an army, and dragons reign the skies. Like a real game I spend hours on, I’ve been playing this for just under a month. It is a “gacha” game (free-to-play) AKA “pay-to-win”. Its just not the case. I’ve spent money on this game simply because I enjoy it and love it and the strategy element hits EVERYTHING I love! I have never played M&M before but since it was by Ubisoft, thought I’d give it a shot. I was not disappointed, in fact, a little upset that I had missed out on something this good for so long. I’ve been a gamer my whole life, this game brings in elements for so many different strategies, it’ll keep ANYONE busy. They have a classic “honeycomb” strategy game called “guild adventure” that is just awesome! I’ve read it’s suppose to represent that ORIGINAL game, within reason of course. Either way, this game is very enjoyable. I love that you can overcome enemies (PvP & AI) with strategy regardless of “power level”. Great MOBILE game in my humble gaming opinion.

    Very Impressive Game

So I am used to playing games, I grew up back in the day of the first Might and Magic game, when it was 4 color CGA graphics and the only units you had were your rolled main heroes. The series has evolved constantly and here we are after decades of change and updates (evolution). For a mobile game, this current version has been amazing, I realize you can spend money to gain some additional benefits, but you don’t have too, I’ve found so far, that there is a lot of content, the basic players solo adventures combined with the guild overworld map with exploration, the enhancement of troops, dungeons of sorts and I guess for the modern generation the PVP stuff (not my forte, but it’s in there. My main point is, I’ve found it enjoyable as mobile games go. Thanks for the fun - Tom (MN USA)

    Love the game but...

This game is loosely based on the old heroes of might and magic three game. The only thing that is from that game is the heroes and the units (there is a limited amount of each so not even all of them are on there). Also the fortress is not in the game at all yet... but it is being added soon but not sure how much of the fortress characters and units will be added. I love this game but it’s not for everyone, again it is very different from the old heroes games so if you’re looking for that here is not the right place. I am very addicted to this game buttttttt you either have to put A LOT of time into the game or spend a lot of money. Or a little of both. Or you will never get good. But overall I love the game so far and I can’t wait to see what they add/change in the future

Heroes of Might and Magic-Era of Chaos

This game, while not having a great deal in common with the original games, is still very good. There are SOME similarities but it’s very much a stand alone title. It’s not a pay to win title, but spending a bit does help of course. The battles do require some strategy(especially later in the game) so there is some challenge in that regard. There’s also plenty to do if you don’t wish to play the campaign, lots of optional tasks that give a good deal of rewards. If you do them all on a daily basis, you shouldn’t feel any obligation to spend money. But I’m sure the developers would appreciate the support. Five star for sure!

    Unable to contact Customer Support

The game was amazing until 4 days ago. Server went down for hours but the dev did the right thing and compensated players. Server went down again today and I lost my entire account. Game is not okay to win and very fair but I enjoyed the game and did spend a lot of money to support the game. I lost it all. I have reached out by email, Twitter and through the customer support link on the app and have heard nothing. Hoping this will catch someone’s attention. Please help a loyal customer retrieve their account. Or at the very least compensate for money lost due to server error.

    Wonderful

I’ve played so many games where either the novelty wears out quickly, or you realize that they are just traps trying to get you hooked into spending lots of $ to stay competitive. This game is different, you can reasonably play a fun game for free. So far I’ve spent a bit for a monthly pass (I have no problem paying for a game I like, after all, I want them paid for entertaining me), but never felt the need to pay to enjoy the game. The gameplay is fun, reminiscent of the original HOMM games, the artwork is lovely, and the game is huge, there’s so much to do. Truly, a cut above the rest.

    LOVE IT!

I played the original heroes games on the PC and this is a fun new addition to their series. They have taken a lot of the old game ideas and applied it perfectly to an iPhone game. Haven’t had the need to purchase anything to advance gameplay. I enjoy the gameplay and would recommend to someone that wad a fan of the PC series and to any newcomers that like strategy style gameplay. Almost reminds me of fire emblem due to the advantages of certain troops over others.

F2P friendly; but waaaaay too many <clicks> required

Click [here] to collect 10k coins. But first, let’s show you this review... The game has a lot to do, perhaps too much. There’s the main story quest that you’ll farm for upgrade items. The daily campaign. The adventure map to scratch the nostalgia itch. The challenges. Various challenges, trials, vault raiding. Multiple PVP modes. Daily upgrading your heroes, armies, artifacts. Lots of variety and friendly to freeloaders because the in-game currency flows at an agreeable pace. Where the game slaps you in the face is the never ending reward collection screens. [*] Click here to collect 10k coins. [*] Are you sure you want to collect 10k coins? [*] Ok, we’re getting ready to give you your reward; please wait while we show you these fireworks. [*] Click again to clear the fireworks. [*] Nope, click again because we weren’t done with the firework animation. [*] Surprise! We’ve just given you 10k coins. [*] Click to close the rewards window. Now do that 100 more times every day. Do I exaggerate? Yes, but just a little bit. Sometimes it takes 5-10 clicks just to launch the game to the main screen because they have many (many) announcements to make. This game *really* wants your clicks. Yay! You made it this far. Your 10k coins are now ready to collect. Click [here] to continue.

    Good but needs work.

This game has the signs of being a good game but has some work that needs to be done. First stop nerfing units when their power is clearly better. Other games did this and lost a lot of active users because winners would be arbitrarily selected by the game. Power needs to start meaning a little bit more. Second the campaign needs to be easier. It’s a bit suspicious when I loose at the exact same part in the campaign no matter what I do. The campaign is supposed to be fun not impossible. Lastly there needs to be a way to get the red dragon stones for the barracks. I understand there’s ways to get them in one event but the event is very selective and if you aren’t selected you’ll never get the stones. This furthers the gap between top players and everyone trying to catch up. Overall a good game but with these fixes it could be a great game.

Not heroes of might and magic

I don’t know just how hard it is to port a 25year old piece of software over to the iPhone but apparently it’s totally impossible. This is not the old heroes of might and magic which is one of the top 5 games I’ve ever played. I would drop 20$ just to get HoM3 on my iPhone. This is basically a garbage impersonation of that game. The only thing this game dose is remind of just how awesome the old HoM really is. After all that, I did play this game and even spent money on it, in the far fetched hope that somebody somewhere out there will re-do or copy the old games. What pisses me off the absolute most is the amount of time and money a company spent making this game look good and coming up with all the concepts in it. Taking what was an award winning game and turning it into whatever slapped together Frankensteins left over piece of trash this is. For all the people who ruined a classic and made this game possible you should all be ashamed of yourselves.

Great game, totally pay to win

Edit: the pay to win aspect is way out of hand. I am ranked top 50 on my server with around $50 spent. The top pay to win players are almost twice my power. I have 2.2 million power and they are at 3.8 million. The only way I move up is when people get bored and quit the game (or switch servers to become the top again). I am happy with my purchase, but that is all they will be getting from me. I would rather buy a PC or console game for the same price since I can't go any where in the game. With the latest update, they seriously pushed the pay to win aspect over the top. Black knights were already one of the best units and are only obtained by paying a few hundred dollars. Lord Haart makes them even stronger, also only obtained by paying for him. Now they made the knights one of the four awakened troops. Now pay to win players are impossible to beat. If you just ignore the fact that you cannot come close to a pay to win player, the game is pretty great. Totally not a heroes of might and magic game (other the names of troops and characters), but a fun mobile game nonetheless.

    Launch Carnival

So, I have been playing this game since last week, and don’t get me wrong, I love the game. However, there is just this one issue with the launch carnival event that i can’t get over with which is the ssr soul reward. When i first try to claim the reward, it said that claim when complete all quests or log in on day 7. So I was happy to hear that I don’t have to do all the missions to get my ssr since I can’t. However, when I claimed the reward, I only get 63 souls, which was my progress at the moment. I was shocked and extremely frustrated. I didn’t know about this since the game didn’t even bother explain it anywhere. To make things worse, I couldn’t do anything at all with these 63 souls since I can’t find a single place that gives you this soul except for putting money in the game. I was able to complete more than 80 missions at the end of the 7th day so I can I get the rest of the ssr souls reward that I was supposed to have.

    I was excited until...

I was a huge Heroes of M&M fan back in the day. Always wished they’d port it over to mobile. I was ecstatic to see it in the App Store and started downloading immediately. While I waited I started checking the reviews. The gist of what I gathered is that it’s not very similar to the old games I know and loved and that like most games they hooked people with a decent start and then updated into a P2W platform. I don’t mind putting a little money into a game if I think it’s really good. I get it that the development company has to make money. The reviews suggest that it’s a little out of hand though. So I haven’t even played the game. I’ll delete it without opening it because I have a lot of fond memories of the franchise and don’t want those tarnished. I’m disappointed but there’s other games out there that I do enjoy that I don’t mind giving some of my money to.

    stole $ / rip off

when you make purchases you don’t get what you pay for. If you call Apple they tell you to go to Ubisoft. When you call Ubisoft they say go to Apple. They steal your money and run. Then they make the customer service experience so horrendous and unhelpful you’ll never want to play another Ubisoft game again. What a joke of a company and they refuse to rectify the situation even though they clear just stole my $. (Over 25 Usd) ... they’ve responded and just to be clear they can rectify the situation and Apple says all sales are final and the developer is who has to handle this. They are full of BS and don’t believe that garbage response below. If you pay money and don’t get your purchase it’s gone for good. There are a ton of very expensive purchases in this game. BEWARE. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND THEN SAY TOO BAD TALK TO APPLE WHO WILL SAY ALL SALES ARE FINAL TALK TO THE DEVELOPER. THESE GUYS ARE SHAMELESS CROOKS.
