Have enjoyed this game tremendously. But after days of being stuck on level 120, I’m going to delete. Much too difficult, but considering it kept my interest for 120 levels, it’s still a really good game. *Update* just updated the game and now 120 is exceptionally easy. Clearly I wasn’t the only one having a difficult time, but beating it this easily was anti-climactic.

Game is very well done with just enough difficulty to occasionally frustrate but easy enough to make you want to play. Only complaint is that the ads on mine will never load. The button always shows a spinning load symbol. Normally I wouldnt mind this (I despise ads) but I wouldnt mind watching one in this game to get some free energy.

Only problem is my videos never loaded ever since I got the game my girlfriend got it as well and her videos load fine I even deleted the game and redownloaded it , still they don’t load and I had to start over from level 1 please fix that also hers says angry granny and mine always said granny legends

It’s a pretty decent game that’s a good concept and pretty fun however the one complaint I have about it is the “Hero mode”. It’s very similar to another game I play called “Archero” (night he the same devs idk I didn’t check) but it’s frustratingly worse. In Archero you get to choose power ups between rounds to make you stronger then you face more enemies, but in this mode the enemies have a /chance/ to drop power ups when you slay them. I made it all the way to wave 10 (cause I just started) and didn’t get a single power up and had to face the boss with not damage, armor, health or speed buffs. Needless to say I died in one to two hits from the boss and this has been my experience nearly every time. It’s not a game ruiner for me, however it is frustrating and I would recommend changing the way it works. Either buff the drop rates monsters give you power ups, or change the power up system entirely.

The game is really fun and I love the flavor. The idea of a granny chasing rats around a room with a baseball bat and knives is hilarious. My biggest issue with the game is that it is very easy to get your own finger in the way when controlling your character preventing you from seeing enemies that get behind you. I would suggest adjusting the enemy AI so that they dont approach your character from the bottom of the screen. Another issue is that there are way to many ads. I know ads are important for companies like this to make money but it definitely seems like i spend more time watching ads than playing the game. I know you have a choice to skip the ads but if you want the bonuses you have to watch them. I would suggest making it so you only have to watch every 2-3 bonuses instead of everyone. There are only like 3 different ads that play anyway, I really dont need to see each one 5 times in a 10 minute period. And finally please make it so the sound is automatically muted for the ads if the sound in the game is turned off. I dont know if you guys can control this but it is really annoying to have the sound start playing every time you show an ad.

This game is very fun and addictive, though quite challenging on a smaller screen like my iPhone 8. However, the latest update (9.9.0) has made Hero Mode Level 2 (Dormant Volcano with Grandpa) very buggy as Grandpa no longer attacks unless facing up... if facing down, he sometimes moves his staff like he’s going to throw fire but nothing happen, and sometimes just sits there doing nothing at all. This is definitely different behavior than before the update. I went back to play Hero Mode Level 1 (Dark Forest with Granny) and that one still works as expected.

Been really enjoying the game for the last couple months, other than the frequent ads. But recently have had problems with the higher end fortune chest. I save up gems to open them to upgrade high level characters but have had multiple times of receiving characters that should only be in the cheaper chest. Am I the only one with this issue? It is very frustrating to wait for that possible level up for my main character and get a lower level one!

But I wish there was an option skip a level with gems or gold. I’ve been stuck on level 120 for days now and other than one time where I was able to get the boss down to 28k, I can’t get past more than a few missiles before dying. I’m starting to get really frustrated but I also really enjoy the game and would like to progress. The hero mode is a nice way to mix it up, but I also feel that the reward is too low after finishing all 30 levels.

The game is a good time waster but I don’t like how I worked to get a “bag of gems” but in reality it’s going to make me pay $5 for the gems I earned. You think you are getting gems but you are “qualifying” to buy them. I like how the game throws coins at you but the upgrades cost way more so it becomes useless. I don’t like how the chests timing is way off. One minute it says 8 hours to get a free chest but the next it says 12 hours and sometimes it says 21 hours. Lastly the game uses 5 energy to play a round but they give you 1 energy every 3 minutes so your waiting 15 minutes to play a single level if you run out. This review is long enough so I’ll end it on the hero’s are not very good either.

While I do enjoy playing this game (reminds me of old rpg games I used to play) I have been getting screwed with the videos when I’m on hero mode either with the life save when I die or when doing the second spin after beating a boss. I have to close the app out because the screen freezes. It’s from CrossInStall games (*note for developers not to put flawed videos in their game). Please remove all CrossInStall videos from your app as they mess up the game and ruin play. Otherwise this game would be getting a much higher rating from me. Thanks

Basically that, it makes you sit through ads for even move. The actual play is ok, you move the character around with your finger to kill everything, if they touch you, you die. Of course if you watch an ad..... So where’s the flaw in my description. Your hand isn’t invisible, so you can’t always see where the baddies are. Hence, you die, then see an ad, and on and on. Still, it is entertaining play.

Another soulless ad machine. Rather than make decent games these days people have to steal any mechanic they see in other games that make money or are part of the core gameplay. Here’s the checklist: energy system with short levels, gem system, “spinning wheels” for prizes with no odds disclosed (I hope they make this illegal soon, I know there is some legislation out), finding things you have to watch ads to get, a constant barrage of ads to “increase your reward!” That I’m sure the developer will argue this is optional yet there is no doubt massive walls progression wise that you will hit without further “investment”. Mobile gaming is a joke. Half of games these days you have to turn off your signal and WiFi just to play to block the ads. Imagine if you booted a pc or console game and had to spend 3/4 of your time watching THIRTY second ads or being told you have to wait to play more or bust out the credit card. Ridiculous. Even if this game had no ads, no energy system, no gems, no wheels, no “paid upgrades” what would be left? Spend some gold on one of two passive damage upgrades and choose another face-wow you guys really went all out. If mobile developers could figure out a way to get your phones to play ads 24/7, they would.

The game is kind of fun but the ads are awful. The game play is bad because your hand blocks part of the screen so you die when the monsters go to the bottom of the screen. ALSO ITS COMPLETELY DISHONEST! The ad I watched that made me download the game is completely different game play that what is in the app. I’m sorry I paid to get rid of the regular ads now. Money wasted as I won’t play this anymore. Plus, if I pay to remove ads, it doesn’t do any good because you have to watch an ad to do anything in the game at all. Yeah I know, the developers will say you don’t have to watch the ads to get the extra stuff, but if you don’t, it will take months to advance a little bit. I’m gonna stop playing phone games altogether. It’s becoming a dishonest cash grab.

Jesus there’s a lot of ads in this game. More than ANY other game I’ve played. $6.99 a WEEK for no ads?!? Seriously. I understand getting paid, but that’s pretty steep. Even $6.99 monthly is a little much. Even Mario cart is only $4.99 a month and is a two WEEK free trial, not three DAYS. We dont want relatable ads. I don’t even mind watching a few but Christ sake. I watch more ads in this game than play the game. LESS ADS. It would be great if the game said more than a character said more than not obtained. What do I need to do to obtain said character?
