I recently learned how to play monopoly and I went to search it up in the AppStore just to find out it’s like $4. I don’t really play it that much but, the game is cool it do have some problems with connection and stuff like that. Besides that it’s good, I used to get mad at the game when I would lose it something like that. Now I realize it’s based on luck.

I don’t have time to play against other people. So try the AI, right? Quickly I realize the AI is predictable to the point of no fun. As of now, here’s the easiest strat (self learned and I’m not usually one for best ideas). Don’t buy any properties, bid $2 less than the property’s value & AI will bid to $1 less than its value and the rest will fold. Now same turn or next offer about 60-70% of the property’s value and they’ll sell it to you. Yes, they will buy for more and sell for less so you don’t have to. Only time you pay more is if they have more than 1 of the suit. You can easily obtain via trade 1 of each monopoly to keep any AI from having a monopoly. At that point, is there any strat left? You just collect money until you have enough to trade for a monopoly, add houses and bankrupt them. I will say I like the way the bank pays the rent and the person who didn’t have the money has 1 turn before they have to repay or choose bankrupt. Maybe I always did that part wrong lol. Overall great, just need AI’s to have difficulty settings

Good game! Recommend for people who just want to play monopoly without the $5 price tag. Nothing fancy, renamed board keeps it fresh, has only crashed once for me. Pros: -non intrusive ads -free -plays just like monopoly -runs fast if your battery is high -good bouncy music -choose how many opponents you want -you can save (1) game -easy interface with big text Cons: -the online mode is a sham. They’re not real people, just bots. Not that big a deal tho -music can get repetitive and there’s no other tracks to listen to -you can’t make house rules, such as free parking jackpot. -after a few games you will discover the “thresholds” that you can manipulate to get the best possible trades. Most bots will sell for about 60% the property cost and buy for about 50%. There aren’t difficulty settings, so you can win every game just by letting bots buy property and then trading with them for a discount. All this aside, it’s a fun offline game to play on a road trip or wherever there’s no internet. Try it out!

So, since I can’t find Monopoly on the App Store anymore (for shame EA), I grabbed this game. It works really well, don’t run into any issues with it at all. The names of places are Indian instead of New York. I don’t care about that tbh. The board uses the same colors as Monopoly, which helps, and has the same type of spaces and pricing. Chance and community chest cards are the same as well. This is essentially Monopoly in different packaging. The player pieces look like Sorry pieces/chess pawns, so they are generic. The cons for me are that I can’t pick what color piece I want to be in computer mode and the board is a little blah. I’d like to see some pictures of the places or something to spice it up. Overall a great replacement for Monopoly.

I must’ve downloaded after a lot of bug fixes. I really like this game. It’s fun, and passes time. I do wish there was a chat again, maybe with a way to report or banned keywords considering reviews about previous chats. AI isn’t the best but if more people play then there’s no issue🤷🏻‍♀️overall I would recommend it

I like this game a ton don’t get me wrong but there’s are some bugs that make it less enjoyable. For example the game may randomly kick you, you don’t have to action a property because you can’t afford it you just wait for your turn to time out, also oddly enough I just had a person make continuous turns while being bankrupt! I videod it because I couldn’t believe it! It would be awesome if the company was able to fix the few bugs it would make it much more enjoyable.

Was kicked after completing a trade for utility company with cash offer and then kicked for inactivity 3 times, makes no sense why i was kicked for inactivity when im interacting with servers on the actual game play. 1st time user as well, not a phone game person but monopoly concepts are my fav game! Willing to give a 2nd try but must rate 3 star for the gameplay with it being updated and not listening to reviews conducting my own personal analysis. Please fix i will get quicker with my pressing actions.

Some bugs, over all fun game play. Other games of this type are easier to read the board and see stuff, it just seems so far away on the screen for this game. And I don’t think it’s mathematically possible for everybody to go to jail constantly. Update:I am now having a bug where my hotels simply disappear as if I never purchased them. Pretty much ends the game for you

I like the game but you know when you play the computer, you’re not going to win. I can’t tell you how many times I conveniently get sent to jail or back the board but the computer never misses collecting $200. You can tell it’s rigged not to win against the computer. I’ll play it for a little while but I was just trying it before buying Monopoly-

Not sure what’s wrong with the new update, please fix the following: 1. Screen froze multiple times intermittently during game play. Someone had to exit out and rejoin which is a pain. Also, rejoining takes “forever”. There were couple of instances when we had to exit out and create a new game due to screen freeze issue for everyone. 2. Was unable to build house even after owning three of a kind color cities. Same thing, had to exit out and rejoin. 3. Private room/ Play with friends: If a user taps “Accept” multiple times during a trade, the money gets transfered multiple times. 4 quick taps = 4 times the money. :D 4. Versioning issue Andriod vs iOS - Versions should be consistent accross both the platforms. If not, private room is out of equation. Overall a good multiplayer game. Thank you, Iron Jaw Studios/developers. Hoping for the best at the earliest. **Going bump up my rating one issues are fixed**

It has issues. First, you only play with 1000 so by the time properties are bought up, most players can’t afford to buy upgrades or expand. Second the computer players you beat way too easily: if they have more than $100 you can pay them 60% of what they paid for the property. Between 0 and $100, you can offer them $10 per property. Below 0, you can offer them $1 for all their properties combined. Not challenging.

Long story short, the first time I played this app it was fine, all was as to be expected for a free knockoff app. The locations were Indian (no big deal), and the app was kind of disorienting, but it was just something to get adjusted to (especially the timers and not being able to leave the app). However, after the first time, the game took a turn. After that, I could no longer offer trades. I kept getting an error about the bank saying my trade was unfair or something, even though it was not unfair, and I had done similar trades the first time. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m using an iPad or the trade was “unfair” in their eyes, but this needs to be fixed ASAP or a guide to their trading rules needs to be clearly posted.

I never understand why this game isn’t breaking a copyright or trademark. Doesn’t Hasbro care that it is such a bad reflection on their company. So chat was removed, thank heavens, but I would use chat to uncover the bots (bots don’t bother to reply to hello). The bots are not always named “guest”. I have been able to trade properties with all players for 60% the price. I suspect that all of the players are bots now as of the last update. Just no longer playable. I have always been of the opinion that this game was rigged but it used to be fun as long as you played it with a grain of salt. Now with the players all being AI it’s just boring. Hasbro or EA help!

I am a huge lover of monopoly and I was excited to download and play this game but there are loads of problems. There are a ton of freaks and or pedophiles on here and they won’t stop chatting with you, if you completely ignore them then they will end the game. You can’t keep anyone online for more than four rounds and they just quit. The game glitches. You need to have better security for this game and better technology and fix the bugs. It has even been 24 hours since I’ve downloaded it and I’ve already deleted it. Very disappointed. I wish I could give it 0 stars!
