Rather Impressive
A slightly watered down version of the full PC game, this still holds true to the dungeon aspect of Dragon Nest, without as much running around and grinding. In my opinion, a perfect mobile version thus far. They did have a Facebook login issue yesterday, but they have since then resolved it. Controls are intuitive, and the gameplay is smooth (iPhone 8 Plus here). No noticeable lag or latency issues using WiFi. This is my first PC game port to play on a phone, but I’m impressed with the smooth graphics they brought to this app. The guidance system is very well done and easy to navigate. I haven’t found myself stuck not knowing where to go, nor have I missed out on any free rewards since the UI presents red dots that show you where to click.
🤤🤤🤤
Overall the mechanics of the game are amazing. The 3D+ features are amazing and surprisingly my phone handles it well. The game is so optimized and graphics are set at high with no lag. Only future things I’d wish to be added is probably co-op or party mode for the main storyline and not just Abyss. To me Dragon Nest is fun when there’s friends and if you’re only limited to 6 games with a friend a day that just kind of kills it. Also I think the Auto Play mechanic kind of makes people lazy as well but I guess that isn’t as big as the co-op. Other than that Dragon Nest M has really surprised me and exceeded my expectation! 10/10 would recommend.
So happy i joined this game
I haven’t been able to find a game that could hold my interest or fit my lifestyle, because of balancing work and family life. But this is it. There are a lot of things to do every day, from daily activities that take 5 minutes to longer lairs that can take up to 30 minutes to play through to the end. I play casually about 2 hrs on and off each day, and I’m able to keep up for the most part with my other guild members. It’s nice to pop on during breaks at work and take care of a couple things, and then pop off again. Your guild is going to make or break this game for you! Find a guild and permanent squad that is friendly and active, and it will make the harder stuff in the game way more fun. Find a guild leader that is kind and fun (thanks Hauntings from Serenity). As with all games there will always be minor flaws, but this game has been addicting, really enjoyable, and gives me plenty to do. Thanks Dragon Nest M team! -Ibiza from old NA7
Great Game
Dragon Nest M is really fun to play and is a great community based game. However, I’ve given it a 4 because I wish there was more to do in a single day. You’re only given a certain amount of attempts at missions in a single day and you can’t go beyond this even when using real money. You also have a set pool of stamina that recharges over time, however like the mission attempts, you’re only allowed to buy a few extra purchases of stamina per day which makes progressing in the game very hard. With that being said, I still thoroughly enjoy playing this game and would definitely recommend it to friends.
Amazing game but rip sorcerers
I love this game so much. I’m almost on level 50 and I’ve decided to stick with a sorcerer because I love magic. But there’s one problem; sorcerers are just horrible. I always look on the leaderboards to see my friends there but I’ve never seen a sorcerer even in the top 90. 90% of the time I use the two “giant gravity orbs” they always summon outside of the map or outside of the arena. I mean it’s okay if I have bad aim but AT LEAST summon them in the arena not in the grass next to it where it’s blocked from players. A good tactic is to constantly stun your opponent, but most of the time I stun them they resist it. It’s really too easy to see it coming and evade it. I’ve gotten only level 30-35 players to be stunned but that’s because they don’t have much experience evading usually. The intro to the game may show that sorcerers are harder to use but that doesn’t mean they should be this weak. It should mean that their controls and becoming stronger is a bit harder than the rest. I mean, I literally have to run a good distance away from my opponent, turn back at them, then use the gravity spell. I have to run so far just to not summon the spell outside of the map/arena. Also, costumes shouldn’t be this hard to get and there shouldn’t be so many time limits on them. It’s kind of hard to show individuality in the game. Also the new update- THE SORCERERS’ FACES ARE HIDEOUS
Love the game but they ripped sorceress
The game is awesome, love the graphics, details and the story behind it. However, all the classes are not fairly done. The class that dominant the game is either dancers and warriors some are cleric, assassin and tinkerer but never a sorceress. I am now level 49 and spend fairly enough money but I can’t even kill an easy apoc by myself. What a shame. I thought it was just me and how I build my character which mostly games are. But with 350 and the game graded an A in the game still not the same with other players with the same level but different class than I am. I am just very disappointed by how the developers made sorceress a low level class compare to the rest of it. Its seems as though the developers truly hate the sorceress but had to put one in the game for the sake of it. However, I truly hope that one day. The developers will finally realize to get this unbalance in the game. Because I would rather quit than changed my class.
Just another ARPG with Energy System 😪
Honestly this game is amazing with features unique to the title. But there’s one major fork in this godsent of an app that severely limits its playability and that is the ENERGY SYSTEM 🤦🏽♂️ The quest use up an absurd amount of energy for how much you’re initially given and it doesn’t refill after leveling and takes long to refill in general. It’s a cheap money grabbing gimmick that is so blatant and insulting it really ruins the experience and potential of this game for me personally. If not for the PVP you’ll only be playing for <2hrs as you’ll run out of energy and have to spend DNP for more (only 25 energy every time but the cost of DNP increases each time??? And each quest cost 6-12 energy???????🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️) This game can make money in other areas effortlessly if they simply worked around this very lame and lazy system. REMOVE THE ENERGY SYSTEM! Thank you for reading (:
Honest review from an almost Day 1 player
Pros: Strong core gameplay. Dragon Lairs require at least some sort of decent skill with playing your class, dodging, and planning for each stage. It’s a group effort tackling dungeons in the way MMOs should be. DNM has a good variety of classes and subclasses with their own strengths and weaknesses. Some people play only 1v1 PVP so there must be some kind of redeeming quality there. Weekly group PVP is quite fun. Cons: The devs do not seem to care at all about this game. Most events are literally just “throw event item (only buyable with real life money) at the event.” Inconsistent translation with inscriptions have never been fixed. Arena messages and some other game text are STILL not translated. The new equipment system introduced wirh Ancient lairs is RNG based with stats and also not organized in the inventory at all (which is annoying since there’s no visual distinction between Common/Rare/Legendaries). The only time significant updates are added are during introductions of new classes which take like 6 months each. This stagnant environment is why so many have left a game that showed so much promise at launch.
Good game but!
Hello! This is an amazing game I even got my girlfriend into it and started my own guild “legends” but the only problem I have is the sorceress. I have been playing this class ever since I started playing and she is so weak compared to the assassin class or any other fighter to be honest. You can battle other players and when I am the sorcerers fighting basically any other class but my own I can’t even get a hit on the other player! They have moves that cancel mine when I’m trying to cast a spell, so I can’t even get any damage in. It’s frustrating because I have over 100kbp and I’m a level 40 and I’m constantly switching specializations “the two different types of sorcerers” to figured out one that can actually attack. Like it’s unfair to look at the leaderboards and not see any other mages only fighting classes and the only other sorcerer I saw was ranked 98th. If you guys can please help the mages out and give us a buff or something it’s unfair I can’t even attack back! All of our attack get canceled out as soon as we get hit! Please help! Sincerely, Flow
Prefer the PC version
I love how CherryBlossom transferred the game to mobile so its easier to access. Unfortunately i love the PC version more. In the PC version theres a lot more control and options and in mobile the controls are just packed in screen so theres not much room to play and see. There were A LOT more maps in PC, more accessories like steeds, pets for support, costumes, story, music, POV, there was a somewhat wide variety of characters each had weaknesses and strengths that put together balances them out and you could customize them however you’d like etc. even each AI had a lot of details and stories put in! I could feel cherry’s love and effort placed into the game and even after it hasn't gone mainstream its still a memorable game to play! Although, the mobile game feels like a cookie cutter attempt. I didn't feel the same love and effort placed into the original game. The game in general had a lot of detail and story into it. I don’t feel the same way in this game though :( Geraint, argenta, and the six heroes will be missed dearly!
Full server
I was planning on giving a higher rating. Are used to be a huge fan of the PC version. When I saw her playing nurse I was really enjoying myself. The reason I gave A low score is because I have not been able to play the last several days because of the server being full. I understand that it was in beta there was only one server but I was disappointed that they’re fixed was just to add another server and more servers in the future. That being said since I really enjoyed the game I spent a little money on it and I progressed really far enjoying a nice guild but now I am missing out on daily activities and now look like I am in active in the guild and now I’m being expected to create a new character on a new server just to be able to play which I will not do they need to make more room on the initial server and once that’s been done I would change my rate to a five star because I have high hopes for this game
Fun for about 5 days...
PROS: This game started off with a slightly unique twist compared to other MMORPG’s out there - the classes are a little more creative than traditional ones. The costumes are fun. Almost all of the gameplay requires other people to play with you in a squad. Fun play style with lots of skills to choose from, learn, and do cool combos with. CONS: Very typical “daily activities” that get incredibly boring after less than a week of gameplay. TERRIBLE EBERGY SYSTEM. Once you start getting to a higher level, your energy gets sucked up right away because of the amount that each level requires, and it takes forever to recharge. Even if you recharge it ($$), it’s gone right away anyways. I don’t see any point in continuing to play this game because the energy system so severely limits your ability to have fun for more than 1 hr a day on this game.
Cash cow
This game is linear and boring the content gets updated every 6 months and expect nothing but back to back pay to win events. The game content is pretty much made for cash players as most people without burning hundreds of dollar really can’t do raids or lairs if a cash player with good gear doesn’t carry them and most wont do that to begin with. The character models don’t have female or vice versa versions as in the PC version and skills tree is seriously cut down also from original and the class balances are abysmal forcing the entire server to be nothing but the same class pretty everywhere you look it Ravens or Rippers. The daily events give trash items for people at max level that by the way you auto get if you open the game ones and don’t open it again for 7 days making it super easy to be max level without doing anything. Oh and just to add insult to injury there server merges every 3 to 4 months so your In game name gets pretty much stolen or gets numbers added to it 4 times ayer with a nice 500 dnp cost to change it each time over all go Play WORLD OF DRAGON NEST IT A MUCH BETTER GAME FOR THE DRAGON NEST HARDCORE PLAYER OR FAN
Frustrating
I find it extremely frustrating and maddening that your assassin player has such an incredible advantage in pvp mode. It is completely ridiculous that this class has the ability to stack all skills. I’m a female and want to play the female characters however it seems that with every update the skills of female characters continually get worsened. Taking away invincibility or the ability to not be interrupted while casting crucial skills. However an assassin continues to get more abilities ?! Ability to heal, ability to stack skills, able to disappear. They can LITERALLY run away during an ENTIRE match so they draw instead of loosing ultimately never loosing ranking points. This is an insane unfair advantage that leads me to believe the game is sexist. I would have preferred to email my complaint however there is no email provided to do such an act. I will be quitting the game if these issues are not fixed.
