I never got into Utapri before this game, so I’m new to the franchise. And though I love hot anime guys, I never really bought into the otome game bishie aesthetic. However, I love rhythm games so I decided to give this game a try. To newcomers like me who don’t have the nostalgia factor the music can feel a bit tacky and outdated at first - think like 2007 Vocaloid/anime music. BUT within two weeks it has won me over and I’m unironically enjoying myself. I love interacting with the characters and humming along to all the songs. The visuals and interface are very polished, and though the boys are mostly drawn in a standard anime style, the album cover art is gorgeous. This is the first mobile game I’ve consistently played daily since I got addicted to FE Heroes over a year and a half ago. My only gripe is that stamina is very limited, which doesn’t work well for rhythm games where the focus is on practicing and learning the music. I get that completing a song gives you resources, so unlimited stamina = unlimited resource grinding, which is a no-no in mobile games. However, it’d be great if there was a practice mode where you can play through the songs for practice as many times as you want without receiving EXP/items.

I want to start this out first by saying, I hate Idol Games. I hate them with all due respect, yet thanks to the luck of the draw I absolutely fell in love with this game and most of its characters (my favorite is Natsuki). While it's songs do have that old vocaloid vibe, its intriguing gameplay and the singers are amazing I simply can just look past that vibe and to be honest, I grew up with old school vocaloid either way. I also absolutely enjoy the story so far(currently on chapter 9), there hasn't been a moment where I haven't laughed whenever Natsuki was around. His cooking skills really are something to be wondered. Regardless, my only two complaints (and its probably a bug) is where at times the notes in the beatmaps would randomly flicker and at times won't even register my inputs. I really do hope these get fixed as the did strip me of my Ultimate Combos that I'm still really bitter about. Nonetheless I would recommend this game to my friends, it certainly helped me get into the franchise.

I love, love, LOVE, this app. I watched the show and couldn’t resist this! I’d be insane to! I’m such a fan of Ranmaru, but my favouritism wavers so I change every once and awhile! The timing and the game could use a little work. There are moments when the app gets a little glitchy mid-game and your timing is thrown off a little. I guess it might be due to how much it has to process and the program thinks too hard. But very cool to play. Also I have to admit, Camus’ voice confuses me in range of tone. A few clips are very deep while others are higher (I guess a better explanation for that is that the deeper clips are sound forced and the higher clips sound so natural) its a little confusing. He’s still a favourite too. Good luck with the rest of the year!!!!

I’ve been playing nonstop! I love School Idols and these boys are sooooo cute! What’s cool about UtaPri is that if you’re unhappy with the account you have a you can re-roll your account until you’re satisfied with what you wanted, so you can keep re-rolling until you get a UR or you’re happy. They even give you a FREE UR TICKET so even if you didn’t get a UR you still get one from the ticket they give you. Getting the prisms for the scouting isn’t hard to earn for free because the songs you play you earn 1 Prism that you can use for scouting or anything you want. If you like Love Live I would give this a chance it is easy to play.

I used to watch the UtaPri anime years ago and would lament the fact that we never got the otome games in English. And as an old Love Live player I’m so glad the systems are similar, but updated! I get sad when idol games aimed at women tone down the rhythm gameplay. I’m also really enjoying the localization & think you guys are doing a good job with the writing, especially given that it’s being release in tandem with Japan. A lot of other games I play in English have some dull sounding awkward writing so it’s nice to see a product given some editing attention. Thank you!

The game is great and all, has good quality, songs, lovable characters, and graphics. The issue is just that when I try to level up my character on lesson and after leveling it up it force quits me out of the game at first it didn't bother me at all but i thought it was just something ony phone but it repeatedly force quits me after leveling up my character which kinda annoys me cause I have to go back to the game to level up ALL my characters and force quits me which can take up a lot of time, so if you can please fix this!

I am actually having a blast. The music is fun to tap along with. It has a bit of challenge in it too! As a long time musician and performer myself, it is pretty interesting to find myself saying, “what I missed that beat? no way I’ll get it this time!” every so often. The download process was weird at the start, it kept shutting off or saying the WiFi wasn’t something something something...but once it finally got past that point, it was smooth sailing! And the boys are cute to boot, too! Thanks for this game.

Okay, in all Seriousness, I’ve a fan of Utapri since I was real young. There were many time when I found it cringe, but I just think it adds to its charm. My review is a little bias in that fact, but I’ll be as critical as I possibly can. From when the app was first released to now, I’m still in love with it. It’s honestly really hard to find something I particular dislike, but I do wish that they’d update the main story and add Heavens already!

Overall I super super love this app and have already spent an ungodly amount of hours playing it in a week of owning it. It brings back a lot nostalgia of being an Utapri fan and came right in time before I caved and downloaded Love Live before finding out this existed. Also a great exposure to the songs I would have probably never looked into myself! However! It does crash sometimes and on certain songs (yes, I know you can turn it off) slider notes blend in with cut in animations and it makes it extremely hard to see. While it occurred sometimes before... this recent patch update or whatnot makes the screen HEAVILY freeze in the middle of songs at times and totally blows your chance of getting a full combo or a better score out of the water. And uh I have literally 16 main story passes I have nothing to do with while I wait for the next update with main story chapters. I'm not pushing to get them done faster or anything but like it'd be cool if maybe??? You could exchange the passes into prisms or something? Speaking of prisms though, this app is VERY gracious with level up rewards, perks, and in game currency. I've gotten really high leveled without having to spend a single sent out of pocket. Just very intensive grinding.

I love this game so so much I was initially interested because I’m a huge rhythm game fan but once I got in I fell in love with it (and now I want to play the otome but I can’t read japanese ;-; please localize them broccoli 😂) It’s a fantastic game with REALLY good songs, fun beat maps, and adorable cards. I also think the gacha is actually one of the best, I get UR’s more often than other games which I love! I’ve been playing since this game released and it’s really grown a lot! It’s always being improved. I just have one problem: the SIZE of this game. It’s so freaking large. Why is it 6GB? Every time I update it the size increases. It used to be like 2GB which is fine but 6GB is too much. Please lower the size so I can fit this beautiful game on my phone!

in the newest update, i played the game this morning; it was working fine and all was well. i played it later around 5pm EST or so, and when i tapped the close button to get out of the little announcement box that pops up when the game loads, it starts tapping the middle of the screen. however, when i use my other hand to go switch to the announcements tab it works fine and dandy. i cant play like this smh... i have already tried shutting the app, and uninstalling it and the like. what else should i do to fix it?

I’ve had this game for a long time and I enjoy playing it. But now I can’t get passed the loading screen. I get an error message saying that my game data is cyrupted and to fix it to clear the catch. I’ve don’t that and it still won’t load and I’m missing the events that are in the game right now. I would like to know if the new iOS update is having an effect on the game in anyway. It was working fine yesterday and I’ve been doing the same thing as I always do so I’m kind of stuck. 😔

Is it just me or does the timing of the notes feel awkward sometimes ?? I feel like there a few songs where the notes don’t match with the beat at all and it messes up my combo. I usually focus more on the beat so it can help me tap the notes at the correct time. But with this game it seems like i have to put all my attention on the notes instead because of how they’re so awkwardly placed. I still love this game and have already spent a few dollars on it, but I wish that the timing could get tweaked just a bit. (Ps I love Ranmaru sm ;-;)

I love this game & everything about it, but they really need to fix their servers. Regardless of how strong my internet is, it always gives me a connection error and makes me restart the whole app. It works after about 3-4 tries, and still lags afterwards- making it even harder to play this already fast-paced rhythm game. Would love if this could be fixed so I could actually play the game (because like I said, I do love it when it actually works), cause most of the time I just give up on it for not working the way it should and end up playing something else.
