I. Love. This. App.
I played All of Flow Free, then went back thru and played it again until I had them all perfect. Same thing with Bridges..so clearly I know how to play the games. But then you introduced Warps, and I didn't get it right away! I loooove that. I especially love the games you've made that combine warps, courtyard and bridges. Yummy. Flow Free games are the only game I play now. I never miss a Daily Puzzle on any of them....in fact they're great for just taking a break from everything else. I'm totally loving working my way through this delicious new variety, warps. Also, I'm a coder (not games tho), and have been intrigued thinking about the algorithms you'd have to use to create these, and how you'd have to work to keep them distinct. Kinda adds another level of fun to this for me. Cannot WAIT to see what you come up with next! Thx for putting these fun games out here! Also, I have the paid version. For those of you complaining about the ads, making these games takes time. The small amount the games cost? The amount of time it takes to make and support them? Pony up the pittance they're asking to remove the ads. And splurge on a theme if you're feeling generous. :)
(Resolved) Great puzzles but troublesome ads
Edit: I think the problem has been resolved. Thanks for the prompt response! I’ll post again here if I encounter any more problematic ads. I love the puzzles. This is a favorite game. HOWEVER, the ads have become a problem lately. I don’t mind having to click through ads between games in a free app, but recently there has been a notable increase in ads that play sound even when my phone is on silent. This is unacceptable. My phone is on silent for a reason and any game that won’t respect that is a game I will stop playing until the problem is resolved. I’ll watch your ads, but you don’t have a right to force-play audio when I’ve intentionally silenced my phone. Fix this, please.
Fantastic, but needs option for flashing dots
Absolutely LOVE your apps and play them faithfully everyday! The warps app adds a clever twist. Thank you!!! Can you add an option to turn OFF the flashing start and finish color visual? I find it pretty distracting to see colors flashing that symbolize, "Hey you connected these dots" when I'm already looking for the next flow. Right now Flow and Bridges don't have the flashing, but Hexes and Warps do. Update: So now you have added the flashing/bouncing dot color to Flow and Bridges. NO :( I want an option to turn it OFF. Please!!! I am prone to migraines and now find myself stopping your games since the flashing is bothersome. I can see the color I want to connect already and don't want the opposite end flashing/bouncing or celebrating a successful completion. Please add the OFF option in settings. Update: Thank you SO much for adding the low animation setting to all the games!!! The sign of a good developer is one who pays attention to reviews!! Kudos!! Update: Your animation setting currently defaults back to "all" upon reopening each of the apps. Please update the apps so they remember the "low" animation setting.
Suggestions
Between the 4 games, this game lacks just a little with the levels even though it is the hardest of the 4 games. I want 15x15 boards and bigger boards with wide warps. My favorite type of levels are those 9x9 wide warp boards with a couple of walls in the Daily Puzzles. Could they get a Pack please? Also, thanks for creating the Flow Free series. I have had all 4 games for years and ever since I got these games, I recognize these as my favorite type of puzzles and they always will be. P.S. I never would have thought I’d like any type of puzzle better than a maze, but you certainly made one! Now mazes are my second favorite.
Flow Magic
The latest iteration of the Flow games, Warps, is especially challenging. Still as simplistic in design as the last three, Warps manages to test the mind and one’s ability to think in new ways. I have finished Flow, Hexes, and Bridges and am working through Warps now. This version is as brilliant and satisfying as the others, with an added bit of frustration. If you haven’t tried other Flow games, I recommend checking them out first then trying this one, to get a feel for how the standard game works. Also, paying to unlock every level is well worth the paltry price.
Thank u creators
I like to think. Sometimes it’s hard for me to process all my thoughts, I can’t see and organize thoughts like I can with physical things. So I use tools to give structure, like these words RiGht HeRe. Games are tools (use wisely)..Blah blah blahhhh enough of me. Flow’s simple but invokes thinking, the colors of the flows in game standout compared to the black background (many layout options too), the pop sound effects are pleasing (and can be turned off), and the menus are navigable. Overall quality set of “flow” games made. This ones my favorite so far.
My new obsession
I’ve been in love with Flow Free from the first iteration. Then I fell in love with Hexes and learned to think in curves. I tried Warps a while back, but for some reason it didn’t click. Then, a couple of weeks ago I tried Warps again and it finally clicked. Now I’ve learned to think around corners. I have all three versions on my iPhone and cycle through them daily. Flow Free is like the old maze games, except in reverse - instead of tracing your way through a maze, you’re building the maze. I love it!
How’d I do that?
I’ve completed all the other Flow Free games, but I was reluctant to go in on the Warps. It seemed to be hard to “wrap” my head around them. What a surprise! I can get blocked on a board, then I just try something weird, and Bang! The solution is there! Don’t know where it came from, but it’s a mindbender! I do have one request though: could you put some sort of check on the hint button? I have activated it accidentally several times, never intentionally. Thanks.
Some are simple...others are quite challenging!
These are fun to solve. Lately the daily puzzles have been much more challenging and that's a good thing! It is an exercise in topology, connecting the endpoints without crossing over another path. Simple graphical logic, testing powers of observation and pattern-matching. Often I can solve a handful in a few minutes, but other times I have to cogitate for quite a while before the solution presents itself.
A nice challenge
I like the way they work you gradually up the ladder of difficulty. A great motivator to continue to advance. I would suggest the daily puzzles should match the user level and increase in difficulty as the player advances. I just ignore the daily ones since they are still too difficult. Other than that great for testing a person's reasoning. I am deeply advanced in the other games like hexes.
Mind-blowing
Addictive and challenging, this is a fabulous app. I'm a longtime fan of the Flow Free games, which require the player to find paths connecting pairs of colored dots. They are logic games which produce an attractive and sometimes stunning display when completed. However, it required a major mental adjustment for me to adapt to this latest variation, which turns the two-dimensional grid into a three-dimensional structure. I love it and admire the brilliance and originality of its creator.
Game freezes when I pull down Notification Center
I love all of these games. Thank you for the continued updates. It’s always a pleasure to get new levels. Since the new iOS when I pull down the notification screen the games freeze and I have to restart them. They also sometimes freeze after a couple minutes of leaving them.
Very challenging
Wow, this game is very challenging compared to the other versions!! That is mostly a good thing, although I do agree with another reviewer who stated that sometimes there is a little too much “guess and check” and not enough strategy and analysis. When I get a tough one right though I’m always super impressed with myself lol. Out of the 4 versions, bridges is my favorite, then hexes, then warps.
Please remove all ads with sound
I’m okay with the occasional ad; it’s a free app, it’s expected to have ads. But do they really have to have SOUND? Even with the game volume muted, the ads still play music (and play them even after the ad has ended). Even when I listen to music, I can still hear it. I’ll be inclined to play this game again if I don’t have to deal with ads with sound. Tbh I’d rather have more ads than ads with sound. If you guys just stick with the silent ads, I’ll be happy.
