    Chat bugs/game connection

I love this game. It’s awesome & I really enjoy it & love the little animals & watching my farm grow , & love my coop too. Great bunch of people!! Could you pls fix the bugs in chat so myself & other players as well, don’t keep getting thrown out of it every few minutes??! When that happens I have to power off my device then back on again & it’s frustrating & interrupts game play too. I don’t have time for it either. I want to be able to relax & enjoy playing in the time that I have in which to do so. Connection gets bad too sometimes & again I have to either power off & back on again or sit & wait for it to straighten it self out. Please fix this! I’ve sent numerous feedback requests for you to do so but it’s just not working right.

    Just a small suggestion.

First of all, I love this game! I just wanted to suggest something. The latest update included daily gifts being added. It’s great, I love the idea. The only tiny problem I have is that it would me much easier to open all of the gifts at the same time. I am on a 4 day streak and I’ve opened four gifts but all separately, having to press the button multiple times. It would be nice just to press it once and all four gifts (or however long the streak is) open at the same time. Other than that, this game is still amazing. I enjoy it. 5 stars.

    Fun but Frustrating

I enjoy the game but you have serious connectivity issues. I have just recently deleted this game. I play games for some mindless entertainment, not added stress. I had been with a co-op for awhile and felt I was a contributing member. I cannot and do not want to be a 24/7 gamer. I still think that most of the people in that co-op are good people. I think they got too carried away with winning the tournament and critical, unkind comments were made. I don’t need to subject myself to that. I didn’t want to go back to playing alone because it just reminded me of the hurt I experienced. So, I deleted the game. I would suggest to any new players, consider very carefully whether you want to join a co-op or be a self player. I can get tense and intense and some folks feel like they can say anything when they are online and don’t really know the other players. Up until a couple of days ago, I was really enjoying the game and felt a friendly connection to my co-op members. The experience was hurtful. I wish them the very best. I still think they are good people; but let the stress of winning a tournament over-rule their sense of care and courtesy of others. Stressed or not, it is never OK to speak or act unkindly.

Enjoyable with or without being in a coop

Enjoyable with or without being in a coop, but more achievable when part of a coop. Just wish it was possible to build all parts without spending real money. Occasionally there are freebies that help, but so far I have not found the blueprints needed to upgrade the water tower. If you play once a day, it will take forever to grow. But if you want to just watch the progress over time, it is still enjoyable. Sometimes the waiting is annoying, but if you spend real many, you can speed it up. This is a “pay to win” sort of game. There is plenty of variety. However, a users guide would be very helpful. There are some things I still haven’t found how to build.

  • By so all the names are taken ?

    No point in having it

This game is fun at first when you’re barely learning how to play , but everything takes FOREVER!!! 3-4 hours to produce things ?! When you’re at like level one and trying to level up , it goes by fast. Everything produces fast and that’s when you have the most coins to be able to speed things up. But then when you get to like level 8-9 it starts taking forever. You start planting everything and producing things and since it takes so long to finish you end up leaving the app because there’s nothing to do , and you end up forgetting to come back to it. So like there’s no point in having it if that’s what the games gonna be like Edit: so I wrote this review a few days ago and they responded saying it’s supposed to be playable over a long period of time. But it’s those features that make people not want to play it. I understand leveling up is supposed to be challenging as time goes on but making things take forever to produce and grow , makes people not want to play it for a long time. To make this game better and a bigger hit , I suggest changing that.

    Well it WAS good

Big Farm is a really cute, slow-paced game, and that’s what I was looking for when I first started playing. It’s enjoyable up until level 60+ when you start needing a ton of in-game currency and resources to progress. The game gets monotonous as you work to build up those resources (read: it takes months); even though their are lots of opportunities to win resources, they don’t provide a meaningful amount to accumulate quickly. There are also multiple upgrades that require the same resources, but the opportunities to acquire the resources don’t increase, nor do the rewards increase. Basically, the game became work. They have also recently added more ads to the game and it’s no longer fun to play. I can’t hardly do anything in the game without having to sit through an ad. Going to wave goodbye to my coop and uninstall.

    It’s okay but not great

You need to spend money to have fun. I doubt very meany free players are having much fun after the first 5 or 10 levels. It’s a constant struggle trying to have enough of anything really. Land expansions are expensive but needed for animals, farms, orchards, and houses for workers. At this point I’m mostly playing because I’ve spent around $15 and want to get my money’s worth. But yeah storage is low compared to the amount of product needed for things, the amount of workers needed is also high but you can’t get more workers without upgrading houses and you can’t upgrade houses without being a high level. The game is good if you spend a lot of money because then you can expand the farm faster without the level restrictions but I’m not going to lose anymore money to this game. With some balancing it could be fun again.

You’ve gotten too greedy Big Farm

The game was fun, updates have always been an issue (mostly due to bugs added in with each one), but the latest is just too far over the top. You can play alone or in a group, but now the contracts all want things you need to spend real cash on if you plan on getting anything done. Big Farm claims it is to keep the game challenging for the long term, but they have gone too far. It is no fun to ditch all your contracts and have to wait hours to maybe have the chance of getting a fish that you can turn into the latest golden ticket (mallets) so you can upgrade layers of items to finally make the newest addition to the game, honey. I don’t know at what level you need to be to have the honey forced down your throat, but once you get there, it isn’t fun. Great job at making everyone mad at you Big Farm! And it continues! Now you need the glorious water buckets to get a sheep pen to make hats at the tailor shop. Plus you need those mallets to upgrade your manufactory to get the dye to make colored items in the tailor shop. The honey requests became outrageous and this last update seems to have reduced that at least. They just can’t leave well enough alone! Or maybe they know they are making it outrageous to play without spending real money and add something they plan to fix so it looks like they listened and fixed something??

    Green Eyed Monster of Greed

The developers get players engaged and enjoying the game. However, the longer you play, the more you need to spend real world dollars to get anywhere. Currently, my next 9x9 plot of land (which will only hold one field, orchard, or pen of livestock) will cost $262 real world dollars to purchase enough in game gold to purchase the plot OR 47 million in-game earned dollars which can take upwards of 3-4 months of grinding to earn... and then there won’t be any currency to buy the needed building, field, etc. without the required buildings, etc., you cannot produce the items needed to sell and progress in the game. If everyone in my co-op bought one 9x9 plot of land at $262 real world dollars, that is $7,860 real world dollars not withstanding what the developers are making off of the ads players must watch in lieu of produce sales contracts. It seems like the developers, instead of fixing glitches and crashes continue to add more and more expensive Road blocks that serve no purpose but to add dollars to their bottom line. If you want to play, welcome aboard, but just be warned that it’s real world expensive and the in-game currency conversions get to the point where you aren’t earning enough to not have to use real world currency. Devs, you need to re-think the fine line between profitable and out-right extortion.

    Developers Ignore Player Input

How many times can one company make the same mistake?? Over and over again new updates are issued with new glitches and bugs - and NOTHING is done to fix the ongoing connection issues we’ve been dealing with for many many months. I LOVE this game and have played it for many years - both the PC and now the mobile version, but these new buildings and new style coop tourney (and the sparkly bubbles - whose idea was THAT) may be the turning point for me. I don’t want to be told how to run our coop projects for tourney. We’ve always been able to plan our own coop strategies and concentrate on projects we enjoy. Why should we be forced to run projects that we hate and our farms are not set up for? And the three new buildings with products you can’t make a profit on? Market orders that include the products have laughable rewards. This is just another gold grab trying to force people to buy what they need to expand their farms. I do spend real money on the game but am cancelling my subscription and will not buy any more packages until I see a real difference in the way you treat your customers. I’m so disappointed in your latest game changes and in the direction you’re taking this great game. You’re ruining a good thing. 😠😡

Used to be fun, but fair warning

These developers have now reached the point of hubris. There is no longer any respect for the players, their goals or wishes. All they are interested in, is to reach into your wallets and bleed you dry, and trust me, i know what i am talking about having played this game for years. I have also been foolish enough to pay through the nose to see the game going down the drain. They keep adding more and more features, one more costly than the other. It has become like a casino, the house always wins. The game itself used to be fun, engaging and full of positive challenges, that were set at just the right level of hard. You could beat it without paying, but by paying you got there faster. Now, however, unless you are Bill Gates or Jeff Bezos you can’t keep up. So just forget about it. And their customer service really stinks! Every time you point something out to them, their favorite reply is; “reset your device to factory standards” as it is obviously your fault that our programmers are not up to the task. Now, I have been warned that this review will most likely be deleted which i guess is just what to be expected. But fair warning has now been given! Stay away!!

I used to love this game but....

recently they added a sparkly bubble to the game that appears like fireworks every time you touch the screen. EVERY TIME!! I am now unable to play do to this as it triggers a migraine. There are other changes which make every one unhappy but the game is still playable it just takes a lot longer to progress and you may not be able to participate in some of the competitions. To each their own. I’m just disappointed I can’t play at all without developing a debilitating migraine. Thank you for the response and for removing the sparkly bubble, but I literally lost millions of game dollars in product, time and resources due to the fact that I COULD NOT PLAY!! Your lack of action and communication on this matter is awful. You waited a full week to do anything about it even though hundreds of people were telling you they were experiencing physical distress over this addition. But you were more worried about the darn cooperative tournament uproar and the fact that players were threatening to cancel their subscriptions over it and not watch any ads than anything else.

    It’s a love/hate relationship.

I loved playing this game. It was great. But the changes they have made have caused many players, including myself, very unhappy. So many changes have been made that now it costs real money to advance or be competitive. Like so many developers, the had a great game that people enjoyed and then destroy it by making it almost impossible to advance without spending loads of money or making the building times so unrealistic that it’s not worth it which in turn causes you to lose out on the free gifts. Selling xo reacts to help expand, is a constant barrage of having to watch 30 seconds videos. Also, expansion is crazy. When it costs $200 in an in app purchase to be able to expand.....or wait 6-8 months trying to collect items, boredom sets in. New contests come out but overload the system so they end it early and nobody gets anything because it crashes the website. Too bad Big Farm, you had a winner. But I guess your greed took over.

    Unauthorized Glitch Charges

I had played the game for well over a year. Had spent a fair amount of real money. Bought a blue season pass and got double charged. This should not have been possible. Once you buy a season pass the option to buy it is no longer there or should not be anyway. I immediately contacted Apple Pay and stopped one of the two charges not both. Goodgame studios banned my account for this. It was a glitch of their own system that caused me to pay $20 for some thing that was only 10. Now they want their other $10 back and they have banned in my account. They tell me I need to pre-pay the $9.99 to get my account back. I would suggest not spending real money as these glitch charges seem to be a regular event. They push and push or things that need real money to level up with. The game is a money grab in more ways than one.
